An Ol' Broad's Ramblings

Just a Few Shots – Day 1

After basically being catatonic last night, the Mr and I got a fairly decent night’s sleep.  I wouldn’t say we were rarin’ to go this morning, but it was a definite improvement.  Coffee always helps, and Blue Mountain coffee will definitely aid in the process.

We moseyed on over to the goofy ‘orientation’, where they want to sell you all kinds of touristy trips and such, actually getting there too early. Waste time, smoke a cigarette, take a picture or two.  There was at least one tour that peaked both our interest, but we shall see.

NO, I will NOT be climbing that ‘rock wall’!

We managed to find our way to the buffet. Hey. We were hungry! Nice view for lunch, eh? :)

Since we got here so late last night, neither of us noticed what was right beside our room.

Yup.  That’s razor wire.  Well, I guess better safe than sorry, right?

We got back just in time to peak through the window and see housekeeping decorating the bed.

Ain’t that cute!  :D

This is really a nice room.  Didn’t hurt there was a HUGE sale going on either.  But I have to ask…..why do we need a stove?  I mean seriously.  There are no pots and pans, no utensils, so what purpose does it serve?

Do they really think we’re gonna come all the way down here, where all meals are provided, and cook???? PFFT!! Fat chance of that happening! If I don’t cook at home, do ya think I’d cook on vacation? Heh.

I need a nap!

That is incase you want your Butler to warm the Caviar (don’t you dare!)  Looks just the same although I don’d remember the wall with razor wire.

Warm caviar?  YUCK!  Come to think of it…yuck on the cold stuff too.  Don’t like fish, and I don’t like salt.  Reckon I’ll never be a champagne and caviar snob, eh?  LOL

I don’t remember the razor wire from our previous trip her m’self, but I also don’t remember us being so close to the wall either.  :)

Well I love French Champagne and caviar, and you know I am not a snob…  Have you had a dirty Banana daquiri yet?  Love them!  lol, I want to go back to Jamaica, you should get paid for marketing and advertising, its better than the news letter they send!  Keep having fun!

Dom Perignon gives me indigestion from hell, and and salty fish eggs don’t do much for me either.  Hmmm…  Maybe I’m a reverse snob.  LOL

Well, I can’t vouch for the alcoholic type beverages, cuz I don’t drink….although I might make an exception to try that one.  Heh.  But the food is killing me!  We ate at the Manor Restaurant and I was so disappointed.  The stuff was SO good, I’m a member of the clean plate club.  Dammit!  Amazingly tasty Jamaican cuisine!  YUM!

A stove in your hotel room? These people must not know that you don’t even use the stove in your own house!  ROFLMAO!!!!!!!
