You’d think I’d be a sun dried ‘mater by now, wouldn’t ya! Nope! 2 1/2 hours yesterday with SPF 8….nada. Today, a full hour with no sun screen. Not to mention the other days I was able to lay out. Pfft! What is wrong with this picture????

Maybe has something to do with tropical heat and sun, as opposed to sunlight / heat youd get here in the states? Something to do with the reflection of light and the atmosphere at different angles? Like how heat feels different in the southwest US compared to the midwest? Moisture in the air?
Im not jumping to the “global warming” insanity.
Pshaw! I’m the only one walking around here that doesn’t look like a lobster, other than the new arrivals and the residents. Besides, Jamaica is closer to the equator than NM.
