Obama’s Ideology Threatens America

I began this week with a small, very small, remnant of hope that the Democats/Progresssives/Socialist/Marxists in the US House of Representatives would fail in their under-handed, lowdown, sneaky, and in my opinion, dishonorable attempt to pass ObamaCare into law WITHOUT it ever having passed the House by a vote. But as the days have passed it has become ever more clear that that is exactly what they are going to do.
We have warned our readers over and over that America, under the Obama Regime, has become a Socialist republic, not unlike the Democratic Socialist Republic of the former Soviet Union, or the current Democratic People’s Republic of (North) Korea. America is no longer a constitutional republic as it has been since The Founders of our nation gave us the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.
In less than a year and a half, Obama has fulfilled his campaign promise to “FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE AMERICA!”

I’m not really sure how many more ways we can say it! This is NOT the America that the majority of the citizens want to live in. There will be no prosperity, no liberty, no ‘beacon of hope’ for the world.
I just don’t get it. Perhaps if you could list the ways in which your life, yours personally, has changed because of government overreach in the last year.
Oh, let’s see….how ’bout my granddaughters are so far in debt right now, their uterus’ will be paying the bills.
Obama took office with $10.6 trillion in debt. It now stands at $12.6 trillion, due mainly to expenditures to avert worse degradation of the lousy economy he inherited. Even conservative economists agree it worked.
Economies get worse and better, debts go up and down, and we have always survived.
I’m asking for an actual impact on your day to day life, not just a perceived one, from this liberal, marxist, fascist, progressive, nazi dictator.
I don’t think you can do it.
Our quality of life has declined dramatically since shortly after Obama took office. Now, while he, himself does not control the purse string, if you look back, the Dem control congress haven’t learned much when it comes to spending other people’s money.
In both Bush and Obama’s cases, the records reflect the party in power at the time. Republicans ran up the $2 trillion in debt in those first five years. However, Democrats controlled Congress in the final two years of Bush’s presidency, including a Senator named Barack Obama, who voted in favor of the FY2008 budget approved by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. And George Bush never saw the FY2009 budget, as the Democrats played an elaborate game of keep-away, using continuing resolutions to fund the government. Obama signed an omnibus spending bill in March 2009 to raise the level of FY09 spending to Democrats’ liking. (source)
I’ve never said that both parties aren’t complicit in the decline, but there are a LOT of issues that have made such contributions. Sure doesn’t mean we have to keep letting them make them, does it?
The impact on my daily life: items I was once able to buy on a regular basis at the grocery store, are no longer available. Others have doubled in price. The employment rate right here in Hardin County is creeping ever upward. There were several rather good sized companies that were based here, in the area. They have left, or in the process of leaving. Not because there aren’t people will to fill the jobs, but because the companies a losing money. You can only lay off so many people, trying to keep your head above water, before you have no choice but to close the doors.
How else will current wheeling and dealings affecting me? How about will I still have my heart doctor, that’s I’ve developed a relationship with, or is she going to be one of the 1000s who will find a different method to earn, rather than being squashed under the thumb of oa D.C. bureaucracy?
The greatest damage has been done to morality. It become difficult to stay upbeat when you are watching the nation your love being turned into a new version of the USSR. We’ve turned out back on God, and God’s foundations, of our country, and what we have got developing is in no way near what it was once.
I think since you guys want to share the wealth with those who don’t earn it, or don’t have any anymore, I insist you send your paycheck down here so I can pay my medical bills.
If you believe this Sorors backed Clown in Chief is doing such a great job for this country, I have this bridge……
OK, so far, for actual effects on you personally in the past 14 months we’ve got pricey carrots.
From the extremes of the language employed, you’d think Obama came to your house in person, tapped your phone, took your guns, raided your piggy bank and rented out the back bedroom to a few soldiers.
Where you get “pricey carrots”, is beyond me.
Y’know, every time I lose me mind, and actually THINK there is hope for you, you prove the “ME ME ME” mentality.
“Pricey carrots” = “items … at the grocery store … have doubled in price.”
All your other examples were not personal to you, attributable to the economy or other factors outside anyone’s direct control, or imagined at some point in the future.
See my last comment. It is ALL personal to me. I realize you don’t remember when this was actually a FREE country, but I do, and I feel very sad that you just don’t get it. And odds are, you never will.
