An Ol' Broad's Ramblings
H.R. 4321
Also known as…….
Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity Act of 2009
To provide for comprehensive immigration reform, and for other purposes.
Oh, yippee! Didn’t we already tell them we want the current laws ENFORCED, and no amnesty for those who continue to break those laws??? It’s not that difficult. Really…..it’s not. Oh, but I forget, now we have a socialist/Marxist in the White House, and a socialist/Marxist as Speaker of the House, and Chicago style politics all around the town. I won’t mention Reid on this. He’s just a major weasel.
This particular bill was introduced on 12/15/09, and has been progressing right along:
Jan 21st - Referred to the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Unconventional Threats and Capabilities.
Feb 23rd - Referred to the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections.
Mar 1st - Referred to the Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, Refugees, Border Security, and International Law.
My first question would be…how the heck did this bill ever get OUT of the first committee? But then, I remembered, the Dhimmis are the majority party, for the moment, and they don’t much give a happy crap about the safety and security of the citizens. 94 co-sponsors….ALL “D”. Big shocker!
Here’s an interesting summary from F.A.I.R.:
Amnesty
Title IV of CIR ASAP contains a broad amnesty program that would legalize virtually every illegal alien
in the United States. To qualify for the first step — status as a conditional nonimmigrant or a dependent
thereof — an alien need only show that he:
(1) was illegally present in the U.S. on the date of introduction; (§401, p. 355-356)
(2) is not barred from admission through conviction of certain crimes (although many may be waived) or as a national security threat; and (§401, p. 357-359)
(3) is contributing to the U.S. through employment, education, military service, or other community
service. (§401, p. 359-360)
They also provide a chart, for your convenience, on their website:
7,000,000? Oh, I don’t think so. I’d say by now, that number is a WHOLE lot higher.
Instead of giving amnesty to people who blatantly break our laws, I’d say that we should round up the whole lot of ‘em, put them on buses, take them to the border, or airport, or wherever that will get their criminal asses home. And make THEM pay for it! If they try to recross, shoot the sons of bitches! It’s that freakin’ simple!
I don’t give a flying flip what country they are from, what their skin color, religion, sexual orientation, etc. If they can’t come in the front door, and KNOCK first, then they damn sure don’t deserve ANY rights as a citizen. There are people that have been waiting for years to immigrate to the U.S., LEGALLY, yet they can’t because of a bloated, inefficient, bureaucracy. Does no one else see a problem with this?
