Lawmakers Set to Sell Their Version of Health Care Law to Constituents
With the yearlong health care reform fight in Congress ending this week with the passage of the Democrats’ legislation, lawmakers face a new battlefront back home in their districts, where they now must justify their “yea” or “nay” vote to their constituents.
Democrats have argued there was a moral imperative to passing the law, to expand coverage to 32 million uninsured Americans in one of the wealthiest nations in the world.
Really? A moral imperative? Uh…no. Actually, there’s not. The moral imperative is for individuals to give to individuals. NOT the freakin’ government stealing from those who worked hard to give to those who can’t be bothered. Of course, with the current state of affairs, even those who WANT to work hard, earn a living, have been denied this fundamental “right” to earn for their own keep, thanks to the idiocy of our federal government. If you want something screwed up royally, just let the weasels take charge!
But Republicans counter that the new law will kill jobs and lead to a government takeover of the health care system.
We’ve already seen evidence of the job killing. How ’bout a time line? What’s the point of having health care, if you don’t have a job? The stress of being unemployed for a long period of time will sure increase the patients rolls. But then, they won’t expect you to live anyway, cuz they will limit what care you’ll be able to receive.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged Democratic lawmakers to go on the offensive during the recess.
They are already offensive. Offensive to the sensibilities of hard working American people. And that woman is the most offensive of all! I don’t remember anyone crowning her “queen of MY world”. Time to strip her of her crown!
“Tell your constituents how all this was done in a fiscally responsible, open, and transparent way,” she wrote.
In other words, lie through your weaselly teeth! Fiscally responsible? ROFLMAO Open? When? Transparent? Bitch – you better BACK UP! Contrary to what you’d like to think, the rest of the country isn’t drinking the San Fran Nan Kook Aid! We don’t all have plastic in our brains, y’know.
House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, said Congress will have to fix the flaws and mistakes in the health care law in the coming weeks and months.
How do you fix a 2700 page boondoggle? Shredder! Starting with Page 1, and working your way all the way through the very last page. It will take a while, but no where near as long as it took them to come up with this piece of Tax and Control crap bill!
“For the American people, the consequences of ObamaCare’s enactment will be grave,” he continued. “It means fewer jobs and higher taxes. It means fewer doctors and more IRS agents. It means higher health care premiums, and lower quality health care. It means fewer Medicare benefits for seniors, and massive deficits to fund new entitlements. It means taxpayer funding of abortion, and shattered trust between Americans and those entrusted to run their government.”
Are these the “fundamental changes” Obama and company had in mind? To destroy this country? Why yes, I do believe it is! And this is just the beginning.
Democrats dismiss that as misinformation that they will have to clear up during the recess.
Have these morons even READ the bill? Do they not have a clue what is in it? Evidently not! A large number of us out here in the real world HAVE, and we don’t much care for their version of America!
Rep. John Larson, D-Conn., who received death threats over his support for health care overhaul, said he is ready to educate the masses on the law.
Ok, I’m going to put this right out! Get a grip people! You do NOT threaten ANYONE with ANYTHING just because you don’t like how they are destroy your country. There are better way to deal with these weasels, and it’s called the ballot box! Let’s put this right out front! I do NOT condone threatening to harm anyone! I don’t care which side of the argument they are on!
Now, as to his comment? “Educate the masses?” Oh, I think you better rephrase that bubba! We aren’t the “masses”. WE ARE YOUR BOSSES!
“This is an education process and it still will be,” he told a crowd at a Hartford hospital on Friday. “This is a historic moment. Much has been accomplished. Much needs to be done.”
Oh, it’s an education alright! We are being educated on how NOT to run things in Washington. Isn’t it nice that come November 2, we’ll be giving the education right back to ‘em?

The White House is also in “campaign mode” over the measure. The president traveled to Iowa on Thursday to explain what he sees as benefits of the law to small business owners. He kept the pitch going in his weekly Internet address Saturday morning.
When is that man NOT campaigning? That’s all he does! Campaign. He’s sure as hell no leader! Says one thing, does the complete opposite. Yep, he’s a freakin’ politician alright. Shame he’s so full of himself, if it rained, he’d drown.
His constant state of arrogance has put this country in danger, in more ways than one! It’s ALL about him, and the sooner people realize he doesn’t give a happy crap about your health and well being, the better for us all! We are all nothing more than gnats, for him to swat at his will. Well, I don’t much take kindly to being swatted!
“Most people aren’t celebrating the fact that their insurance premiums will go up,” McConnell said. “Seniors aren’t popping champagne corks at more than a half a trillion dollars in Medicare cuts. And, job creators, already struggling in a down economy, aren’t doing any cartwheels over all the mandates and new taxes they’ll have to shoulder as a result of this bill.”
Congress has NO authority to regulate health care. NONE!

A moral imperative to take money away from us GREEDY people who earned our money, and use it to help people who either are here illegally or didnt do anything to earn it.
They see it as a cause and Obama is their champion.
