Prescription For Disaster Now Covered Under Obamacare
by Ann Coulter

On the “Today” show this Tuesday, President Obama claimed the massive government takeover of health care the Democrats passed without a single Republican vote was a “middle of the road” bill that incorporated many Republican ideas.

One Republican idea allegedly incorporated into the Democrats’ health care monstrosity is “medical malpractice reform.” Needless to say, the Democrats’ idea of malpractice reform is less than nothing. Until trial lawyers are screaming bloody murder, there has been no medical malpractice reform.

The Democrats’ “malpractice” section merely encourages the states to set up commissions to “study” tort reform, in the sense that frustrated mothers “encourage” their kids not to slouch. By “study,” the Democrats mean “ignore.”

Are There No REAL Journalist Anymore?

31 March 2010, 7:16 pm. Comments Off. Filed under Taxes, The ONE.

I stopped watching the Today Show a LONG time ago. Perky Katie drove me up the wall. Matt Lauer is even worse. So, I gotta tell ya, while perusing a few items, I came across yesterday’s Lauer suck up with Obama, I almost fell off my chair when I read this:

The president said he believes the problem can be solved, but on health care, he said, “I am frustrated that Republicans who I think had an opportunity to help shape this bill declined that opportunity.”

Now, if Lauer was a REAL journalist, which, from all indications, he is NOT, he would have asked the obvious:

Mr President, how can you say that? The Republicans were shut out of the debate, you never asked them to join in the discussion, and until there was a large outcry from the American people, you never even bothered to talk to Republicans, and then, dismissed every single concern, with nose in the air, at the televised Obama Show.

But that would mean that Lauer had journalistic integrity, and we all know, that just ain’t so.

Another little tidbit from Obama caught my eye:

“What’s interesting is that if you actually break down the specifics of the bill, you will see that this, historically, has had a lot of Republican support,” Obama said.

Now see, here we have a fabrication. While I’m not technically a Republican, I would be more likely to vote “R” than “D”. More R’s, I’s, and all those in between have actually read the bill than any D’s, including the President of the United States himself. I’d venture to guess he really has no idea what is actually IN his ‘signature’ bull….er….bill.

The evidence, that this has never been a bill about health care, keeps mounting.  This is a tax and control bill.  That, after all, is the whole idea of the socialist agenda, isn’t it.  Kiss more jobs goodbye.

Just Wondering

31 March 2010, 8:39 am. 2 Comments. Filed under Blog Stuff.

Every once in a while, I’ll check to see who has visited my little corner of the blogosphere.  Until recently, there were visits from Washington, D.C. almost on a daily basis.  Some Senator’s office, or the Sgt. of Arms of either house.  Even the Park Service.  Now, there are a LOT of ‘unknowns’.  I wonder if the gub’ment is now using ‘black holes’ so people won’t know they have been checked out?

Just wondering.

This MUST Be Stopped!

One Nation Under Arrest
The Foundry

Before President Barack Obama took over the White House, no United States citizen had ever been forced by the federal government to buy a product against their will. But now, thanks to the passage of Obamacare, Americans, by dint of their mere existence, are now required to purchase Obama administration approved health insurance or face a penalty assessed through the Internal Revenue Code. This is simply unprecedented. The income tax doesn’t kick in until an American earns income. Auto liability insurance doesn’t become mandated until an American chooses to drive (and even then it’s only by the state). And farmers must first grow food before they are subject to the regulations of the Department of Agriculture. But facing federal government sanction for simply breathing? That is a troubling assault on American liberty.

When Are People Going To Snap Out Of It??

‘Right-wing white brothers’ may ‘attempt to kill’ Obama
President’s extremist pal calls for protection, rips America in ‘decline’

Speaking at a televised roundtable alongside Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan, a personal friend and recent adviser to President Obama decried “right-wing white brothers” who are attacking Obama and who “could even attempt to kill him.”

Cornel West, an extremist race-relations instructor at Princeton, was speaking last Saturday at the “We Count! The Black Agenda is the American Agenda” conference in Chicago organized by talk show host Tavis Smiley. The event was broadcast on CSPAN.

Ya gotta love that sub-title. If this fool wants to know why the nation is in decline, he has to look no farther than his own mirror. HE is one of the main reasons we are sinking fast. Socialism taking over what was once a free nation, and race baiting bigots!

I have no doubt there are a few people left in the country who really do hate on the basis of a person’s skin color, or their religion, or even the make and model of their car. Thankfully, there aren’t that many. Well, unless you look at guys like this. Promoting hatred of people because they happen to be white, making such accusations based on the color of their skin.  And C-SPAN broadcast this crap, eh?  I notice they weren’t in Searchlight, NV, broadcasting about 10,000 people who are NOT race baiting bigots!

West made similar remarks when he introduced Obama on stage at a 2007 Harlem fundraiser attended by about 1,500 people that served as Obama’s first foray into Harlem after announcing his Democratic presidential candidacy.

At the time, Obama took the stage calling West a “genius.”

“A man is known by the company he keeps.” Obama sure does keep some interesting company, doesn’t he.

Farrakhan claimed white people voted for Obama in 2008 because the politician “don’t (sic) speak with a Negro dialect. A light skinned Negro that is non-threatening to white people because they can see themselves in him because he is part them and part us.”

Considering I voted for Alan Keyes in the 1996 primary, and he’s not exactly “a light skinned Negro”, I’d have to say Farrakhan is one of the biggest assjacks! Anyone else getting tired of this kind of rhetoric? It’s not the color, it’s the content!  Yeah, a lot of people voted for Obama BECAUSE of the color of his skin.  That ‘white guilt’ sure did send us down a path we may never recover from, didn’t it.

Other black leaders at last week’s roundtable included Rev. Jesse Jackson and executive Tom Burrell. Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s senior adviser, was invited but did not attend, as did Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill., Rev. Al Sharpton, and Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif.

More race baiting bigots. You know, I’ve never had a racist bone in my body. I was taught that all people are “created equal”. That ‘you can’t judge a book by it’s cover’. And I took Martin Luther King’s words very seriously. Isn’t it a shame that these so called “leaders” didn’t learn the same lessons? Thanks to people like this, I am learning not to be so open with people, of all colors. Thanks a lot. Really appreciate it!

An FYI!  I don’t wish any harm on Obama, or anyone in his administration.  I just want them all to go back to wherever they came from so the grown ups can get back to the business of restoring our Constitutional Republic.

Secure Our Borders!!!

Border murder highlights administration’s failure
By Ken Blackwell and Ken Klukowski

The tragic murder of a Good Samaritan rancher in Arizona has people yelling for an effective response to this outrage. Although most illegal immigrants are just human beings that are desperately seeking to provide for themselves and their families, this murder shines a spotlight on the Obama administration’s utter failure to secure our borders and uphold the rule of law.

After Reagan made the disastrous mistake of granting amnesty, the first thing he should have done was secure the borders, to stop the flow of illegals. He didn’t. Neither did GHWB. Nor did Clinton. Bush II actually did even less, and yes, before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, I bitched about it then too. Now, Obama comes along, and one of the top issues on his agenda is amnesty. I, personally, blame each one of these men for the murder of this rancher, and every other American citizen at the hands of criminal illegal aliens!

A top story on March 30 is that Arizona rancher Robert Krentz was apparently gunned down by an illegal immigrant. Krentz’s family has maintained a ranch in southern Arizona since 1907, and he was known as a compassionate man who gave water and medical care to illegal immigrants crossing his land from Mexico.

Krentz was found shot to death, slumped over his vehicle on his ranch. Police dogs tracked the shooter to the Mexican border 15 miles away, indicating that the shooter was almost certainly someone in this country illegally from Mexico.

The murder of this good man casts in stark relief the outrageous failure of President Barack Obama and Secretary Janet “the system worked” Napolitano to deal with the enormous problem America faces as a result of illegal immigrants. Perhaps if they weren’t so busy taking over the economy (which the Constitution forbids them from doing), they’d actually secure the border (which the Constitution requires them to do).

The failure to uphold the Constitution, and to protect the citizens of the United States falls directly on the shoulders of the current, AND previous, administrations.

Read the entire column here.

I happen to disagree with Mr’s Blackwell and Klukowski. I DO think that those crossing the border are quite aware they are breaking the law, and don’t care. Compassion for those who ‘want a better life’ does NOT include rolling over and playing dead to accommodate them.  Many cases of death by illegals have been documented across the country.  Many people would still be alive today if the government would do it’s job, instead of poking it’s nose into things they have no right to do.
