Blessed is the Blackberry: How Barack Obama worships with prayers sent to his trusty phone

He may be too busy to go to church as often as he would like.

But President Obama can always find time to check his Blackberry.

So when he needs a little inspiration in the mornings, Mr Obama revealed today that all he has to do is read the daily prayer emailed to him from pastors around America.

‘It’s a wonderful thing,’ the president said of his hi-tech devotionals.

Mr Obama is the first president to carry a Blackberry and the first to use email, although only a handful of aides, family and close friends have his address for the handheld device.

He said that White House faith director Joshua DuBois forwards him a morning prayer every day from a selection sent in by some of the churchmen he met during his cross-country travels on the presidential campaign.

Obama has been to church?  Really?  Uh….if you say so.  But I’m wondering what book those ‘devotionals’ are actually from….the Bible, or would that be the Quran?  Just wondering.

Dear Mr Leno,

At one time, my husband and I were fans.  Before the switch at NBC, when Conan O’Brian took over The Tonight Show (who wasn’t funny either), we would watch on a regular basis.  (We did not find your 9pm slot at all entertaining, by the way, and only watched when there was someone of interest on.)  You were actually amusing prior to the move, for the most part, and seemed to be more even handed on political issues.  Now?  It’s become quite obvious you have no respect for the conservative viewers at home.  Your ratings may remain high, but, odds are, you’ll be losing viewers as time goes on…… like us.

I shudder to think what those who came before you would be thinking if they were able to watch your vitriol, the guests you never take to task, and laugh along with, while insulting a large number of tax paying, and WELL informed, viewers.

Odds are, we will not be watching tonight, or any other night for that matter.  Your recent list of classless, vulgar guests are an indication of the direction you have taken, and we aren’t all that impressed.  And by the way, your monologues are no longer all that funny either.  Perhaps you need new writers?

We quit watching NBC when it was obvious that the left wing political agenda had invaded even what was suppose to be entertainment.  Since we will no longer be watching The Tonight Show, I suppose NBC won’t be getting any of our business.

Sincerely,

Mr and Mrs Ol’ Broad

Don’t Fall For Obama’s Energy Shell Game
The Foundry

Can the Obama administration’s desperate attempts to cover their true far left nature with centrist rhetoric and promises become any more transparent? Yesterday, the President announced “an expansion of offshore oil and gas exploration” in selected areas off the coasts of the United States. The President claims this announcement was made “in order to sustain economic growth and produce jobs,” but nobody believes him. Just take a quick look at today’s newspaper reporting:

Remember in November
by J. D. Longstreet

Many Conservatives are worried that they won’t be able to maintain the high level of outrage at the Obama Regime and the democrats/socialists until the election in November. That concern is not without merit.

Politicians tend to exploit the short memories of their constituents. The American electorate has the shortest collective memory of any people on the planet. The democrats are counting on it to save their behinds in November.

Meantime, they plan to hand out a few goodies by way of ObamaCare between now and November 2nd, as well. Yes, ObamaCare WAS deliberately “front-loaded” with a number of the more popular portions of the new law to, shall we say, pacify the masses. And yes, they ARE treating us as though we are children. Sadly, they are not very far off the mark. And that is what is so worrisome.

Already, the dems are shamelessly buying votes with their mortgage bailouts for homeowners unable to make their house payments. There will be many such acts of Obama largesse between now and November.

These should be reminders to Americans that the democrats have just reached into our pockets and stripped as much money from us as they could find — for the moment.

Most conservatives I know have a pretty long memory. It’s a shame a large portion of the country is being brain washed by the lame stream media, instead of investigating issues for themselves.  People will be told that the “right wing, racist, hate mongers” are just trying to scare you.  Read these bills for yourself.  Find out the truth of what’s behind them, ESPECIALLY H.R.3590.

It’s not just that WE say they are promoting their socialists agenda, THEY have, and are saying it!
