….and down right STUPID!
As President Obama and Senate Democrats push to pass an immigration bill this year, one key ingredient is still conspicuously missing: a second Republican to co-sponsor the legislation.
Most Republicans considered likeliest to join Sens. Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat, and Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, in writing a bill either have taken a pass or are still on the fence. Key figures say the country does not have the kind of consensus needed to tackle the issue.
Just how many times do they have to be told? How many ways can people say it? NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS! It’s really not that complicated.
From News Busters:
Tuesday, a brick was thrown though a window at the Republican Party’s headquarters in Marion, Ohio, 50 miles north of Columbus.
It would appear fans of Gateway Pundit would be about the only ones outside the local area who would know this. Virtually no other establishment media outlet has been involved in reporting on this incident. Meanwhile, the fact that a window was broken at Hamilton County, Ohio’s Democratic headquarters was reported nationwide.
While most of the incidents were fabricated, I haven’t seen an apology to the Tea Party folks for the slander.
A Google News search on “Marion brick (not in quotes) returns the Marion Star story as the only relevant link. Columbus Dispatch searches return nothing for “Marion brick” and “Marion GOP” (both not in quotes).
The double standard in reporting couldn’t be more obvious.
The words “feckless weasels” and “pond scum” come to mind.
Red Tape Rising
ust three days after President Barack Obama’s health plan was signed into law, AT&T announced that due to an obscure tax change in the bill, the nation’s largest telephone company would take a $1 billion hit to its bottom line this quarter. According to health benefits analysts this tax law modification would shave as much as $14 billion from U.S. corporate profits. While it would have been better had these tax losses been made more public before Congress voted, at least these tax charges are transparent and easily quantifiable enough to get noticed by the American people. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the hundreds of new regulations that the federal government will enforce as it tries to implement Obama’s redistributionist health agenda.
African American Tea Party Candidate Upset With Cohen Comments
Cohen says Tea Party “without Hoods and Robes”
More sparks fly in the race for the 9th congressional district. Congressman Steve Cohen is said to be out of touch and this time the candidate throwing the punches is not his fellow Democratic opponent, Willie Herenton.
The congressman’s recent appearance on an internet radio talk show has some crying foul, including another candidate vying for his job.
Charlotte Bergmann and her supporters are forced to watch the weekend parade in Hickory Hill as the man she hopes to unseat and other current political office holders ride in it.
She requested to participate as the Republican’s Tea Party candidate for the 9th Congressional District but was turned down. She says organizers told her political candidates weren’t welcome.
Isn’t that interesting. A lady, who is the REAL recipient of Martin Luther King’s “Dream“, isn’t welcome at a Martin Luther King parade? These are your Democrats. Those same Democrats who prevented black Americans from voting. The same ones who actually WORE those robes and hoods. The ones who created the “strange fruit” on a regular basis. Oh yes, the ever so tolerant Democrats, but only if you’ve been bought to vote their way. Promoting the love, wherever they go, right?
And while you’re at it, drop a few bucks in the kitty. Cohen is backed by the big money racists (DNC) and she could definitely use the help to bring REAL representation to Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District.
…..who am I to dispute it?
Some interesting stuff here, where I swiped the video.
