How to Offend Barbarians and Promote Diversity
Dear Revolution Muslim:
I am offended by your recent threats against the creators of South Park. I am offended specifically that the creators of South Park were threatened with death and that I received no similar threat. I have made statements against Mohammad that are far more offensive. What can I do to get you to threaten me with death – aside from calling you on the carpet as effeminate and cowardly?

Abbas Accepts Invitation to Meet With Obama in Washington
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has accepted an invitation to visit the White House for a meeting with President Obama, senior Palestinian officials told Fox News.
The invitation was extended by Obama’s Middle East envoy George Mitchell during a weekend visit to the region where he was trying to restart indirect peace talks between the Palestinians and Israelis. Mitchell is expected to return next week, signaling he is making progress.
The visits come amid rising tensions between Washington and Jerusalem. But the State Department reported that Mitchell had “positive and productive talks with Israeli and Palestinian leaders” during his three-day visit.
I wonder if D’Bama is going to bow to this guy too? No doubt there will be lots of photo ops to show just how hard D’Bama is working to bring peace to the Middle East. No doubt, he’ll miss tucking in the kids due to matters of state, but since he is the POTUS, that’s to be expected. And, after all, the Pallies are working hard too, aren’t they?

TRUE Heroes
When did soldiers stop being heroes?
Heroes are all around us. Aren’t they? Oprah’s “Heroes in Hard Times” show last May showcased such worthies as Dr. Dan Bell and his wife, Suzie (who run a medical clinic two days a month), Hal Coston (asks people to donate old cars, then fixes them up and sells them for a small fee to the needy), Dale Dunning (soup kitchen), Dallas Gigrich (home heating-oil nonprofit), Tim Nicolai (allows homeless people to stay at his motel), Mary Marzano (collects worn-out bedding from hotels, sends it to homeless shelters).
Nice people. Wonderful people. But heroes?
I don’t even have to tell you that none of Oprah’s chosen heroes was involved in either of the two ongoing wars. You’ve grown used to thinking of “hero” as one of those words that’s mainly used as a metaphor or hype (see also: icon, revolutionary, epicenter). Yet hero is simultaneously over- and under-used.
Do I even have to say it? Oprah Winfrey is a flake! Out there! Totally la la land certifiable! She’s made millions off the back of hormonally depressed women, and thinks she’s a god. No one else see a problem with this? The people she chose as “heroes” are, granted, good people, helping those in need. Likely they might be called heroes by those they help. Personally, I’ve never heard of any of them, so I can’t say.
There are many people who do good things for people, that’s what people are suppose to do! Give, individually, by choice. Does that make them ‘heroes’? Not really. THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is a TRUE hero:
Lt. Michael Murphy, Medal of Honor
Lt. Murphy, and the thousands who put on the uniform of the U.S. Military every day, go about doing their jobs, and never asking for anything in return, but respect, which they have earned, time and time again! THESE are heroes!
None of Oprah’s “heroes” risked his life. Time magazine does a “heroes of the environment” spectacular, but all of these worthies from Team Green would not have a composting toilet to use without basic security, and there wouldn’t be much of that if we were dependent on the mercy of a medieval, brutality-ruled caliphate. The phrase “heroes of war” hasn’t appeared in Time since 1999 (and that was about the conflict in . . . Bosnia?). Trawl through the recent references to supposed heroes in Time.com and you’ll see a lot of references to “Survivor” and Hayden Panettiere.
I find myself more and more baffled by the obsession of the American people with Survivor, American Idol, and numerous other “reality” shows. Living vicariously through the scripted scenarios each week, making it the talk at the water cooler the next day? Who did what on Idol? Who the hell cares? I certainly don’t, but way too many do, and that’s just sad. Who the heck is Hayden Panettiere? Time Magazine isn’t worth using as toilet paper, IMHO. Without REAL heroes, these people wouldn’t be free to watch these ridiculous shows.
Now consider what he [Murphy] did in the military, as a Navy SEAL lieutenant on June 28, 2005, in Afghanistan, where his four-man patrol was attacked by 30 to 40 Taliban. Behind a rock, he couldn’t get reception on his phone — so he scrambled into the path of the gunfire to get a signal and call in air support. He and the Taliban continued their dispute until Murphy and a number of the guerillas were dead. Hospital Corpsman Second Class Marcus Luttrell was the only survivor of the group.
He laid his life on the line for his fellow SEALS.
Do we, as a nation, honor such men? No, we get all revved up about a stupid talent show. Little girls scream, at the top of their lungs, when mommy gets tickets to see Miley Cyrus. Supposed adults can’t wait to see who gets booted off the island.
No wonder we’ve lost our way!

Supporting Israel
‘US dislikes Obama’s Israel approach’
A plurality of Americans disapprove of how President Barack Obama is handling the situation between Israelis and Palestinians, and an overwhelming majority call for the US to be a strong supporter of Israel, according to a new poll.
A national Quinnipiac University survey found that 44 percent of Americans disapprove of Obama’s handling of the Israeli-Palestinian issue, with 35% approving, the poll’s only foreign policy question with negative results.
I can’t say as I’m surprised there are 35% who approve, but I am disappointed. Evidently, the propaganda is working way too well.
Only 3% of all Americans consider Obama a “strong supporter” of Israel, as opposed to 42%, who say he isn’t. However, in contrast to white Catholics and Protestants, more US Jews (50%) saw him as supportive than not (46%).
And THAT is most disturbing of all! I’m inclined to think there are many American Jews who are totally ignorant of their own history. Many seem more inclined towards socialism than freedom, believe that the constant terror attacks on Israel are ‘justified’, and the D’Bama just might be the messiah. 
It appears to me, the more orthodox, the more supportive. I’m totally baffled that anyone who claims to be a Jew or a Christian has issues with supporting Israel, 100%.

Immigration Advocates Vow to Fight Arizona Law
Arizona’s governor vows the state’s tough new law targeting illegal immigration will be implemented with no tolerance for racial profiling, but at least two advocacy groups were preparing legal challenges and Mexico has warned that the law could affect cross-border relations.
Gov. Jan Brewer on Friday signed into law a bill that supporters said would take handcuffs off police in dealing with illegal immigration in Arizona, the nation’s busiest gateway for human and drug smuggling from Mexico and home to an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants.
The law makes it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally. It also requires local police officers to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal immigrants; allows lawsuits against government agencies that hinder enforcement of immigration laws; and makes it illegal to hire illegal immigrants for day labor or knowingly transport them.
With hundreds of protesters outside the state Capitol shouting that the bill would lead to civil rights abuses, Brewer said critics were “overreacting” and that she wouldn’t tolerate racial profiling.
“We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act,” Brewer said after signing the law. “But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation.”
Let’s get this out there, right off the bat. I’m not a racist. Mexican is not a race. I do not hate Mexicans.
What I have major problems with is the fact there are people, sneaking into my home, and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it. I’m suppose to pay for their room and board, their health care, their children’s education, and get nothing in return. Well, I’m tired of it. I’m tired of reading about LEGAL citizens being murdered by these slime balls, while the federal government, sits on it’s thumbs and spins to the tune of their “advocates”. We see people killed by drunk drivers, no license, no right to be on the roads, with numerous offenses. We read about kidnappings in Phoenix, the “kidnap capital of the world”. We see the violence growing on the border, and that moron they call the Secretary of Homeland Defense is telling us all is well. Really? What planet is she on?

2nd SEAL Cleared
I’m sure you’ve heard by now:
US clears 2nd Navy SEAL in Iraqi abuse case
A U.S. military judge on Friday cleared a Navy SEAL of any wrongdoing in the alleged beating of an Iraqi prisoner suspected of masterminding the grisly 2004 killings of four American contractors.
The Blackwater contractors’ burned bodies were dragged through the streets and two were hanged from a bridge over the Euphrates river in the former insurgent hotbed of Fallujah in an attack that shocked Americans and galvanized U.S. support for the war.
After a daylong trial and fewer than two hours considering the evidence, Navy Judge Cmdr. Tierny Carlos found Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Keefe of Yorktown, Virginia, not guilty of dereliction of duty, a spokesman said.
While I’m more than pleased this young man has been found not guilty, it still irritates me that these charges were brought in the first place!

A Rare Restaurant Review
While perusing through the local fish wrap yesterday, I happened across an ad for a restaurant. I had seen the place on my way to get gas at the NO ETHANOL type gas station, but had never gone in. It’s where the bad Chinese place was for a while. We had intended to check it out, just never got around to it. Well, after seeing that ad, I KNEW we had to go, and often. Why? Well, it’s the ONLY smoking restaurant in the area, THAT’S why! 
No, it doesn’t serve alcohol, but you have to be over 21 to eat there…an exception that was made in the no smoking law they shoved on the residents of Tennessee.
Well, odds are, if the food sucked, we’d go occasionally, just to help keep ‘em open. What a pleasant surprise to find the food not only didn’t suck, it was pretty dadburn good! AND, as an added bonus, there was actually a LARGE variety of selections on the menu. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was the HOME MADE brownie cheesecake. OMG! If nothing else, we’ll be back for THAT! I’m thinking Heaven must be a lot like that.
So, if you are ever in the neighborhood of Savannah, Tennessee, in Hardin County, and want to sit down for a really good meal, without a bunch of screaming kids running around, and want to relax after your meal with a smoke, instead of rushing out the door, make sure you check out Heidi’s! Right there on Florence Rd, on the way to, what else….Florence, AL. It might not be much to look at (might have been a service station at one time), but it sure is worth stopping….ESPECIALLY that brownie cheesecake!
Now, it’s time for a nap!
