Obama Takes Direct Aim at Anti-Government Rhetoric
President Obama took aim Saturday at the angry rhetoric of those who denigrate government as “inherently bad” and said their off-base line of attack ignores the fact that in a democracy, “government is us.”
First, not all governments are bad, however, this current administration is doing its best, to be the worst. Second, you’d think the President of the United States would know that we are not a democracy. We are a republic.
Obama used his commencement speech at the University of Michigan to respond to foes who portray government as oppressive and tyrannical — and to warn that overheated language can signal extremists that “perhaps violence is … justifiable.”
As usual, D’Bama uses an inappropriate forum to show his fear of those who oppose his policies….AND to make insinuations about them/us.
“But what troubles me is when I hear people say that all of government is inherently bad,” said Obama, who received an honorary doctor of laws degree. “When our government is spoken of as some menacing, threatening foreign entity, it ignores the fact that in our democracy, government is us.”
On a day that should have been about those graduating from college, heading into REAL life, and D’Bama makes it all about him. What a narcissistic, useless excuse of a human being.
Obama urged both sides in the political debate to tone it down. “Throwing around phrases like ‘socialists’ and ‘Soviet-style takeover,’ ‘fascists’ and ‘right-wing nut’ — that may grab headlines,” he said. But it also “closes the door to the possibility of compromise…
FYI, free people do not compromise with tyranny.

Criminal Immigrants Focus of Operation Cross Check

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and its law enforcement partners arrested 596 foreign nationals with criminal records during a three-day enforcement surge throughout the southeastern United States, making it the biggest operation targeting at-large criminal aliens ever carried out by ICE in the region.
During the operation, which concluded April 29th, ICE officers and agents worked in teams with the U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and local law enforcement agencies in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Puerto Rico.
If they can get 596 criminals in just 3 days, can you imagine how many they could snag if they did this every day?

What Part of Illegal…… (Pt… Whatever)
A quick and broad rejection of the state’s draconian anti-immigrant statute — an American version of apartheid South African pass laws — is essential. Boycotts and legal action will get Arizonans’ attention.
Do these people every actually use their brain? Mirroring the FEDERAL government’s law is ‘draconian’? I’m starting to think the left uses this word for effect, and not because there is actually any TRUTH to it. And for the record, it is NOT ‘anti-immigrant’. It’s anti-ILLEGAL-immigrant. Does anyone know the difference? Boycotting a state? Seriously? Because the residents are sick to DEATH of the crime that is crossing the border?
