A “Thank You”
READ THE BILL!

This is why you don’t run Red Lights! Two seconds changes everything! This is also WHY you look both ways after you get the green light!
This is also why you don’t talk on your cell phone, text, do your nails, eyes, lips, eat, or do anything else that takes your attention away from your driving…..
You might think you are invisible, or too important to follow the rules. Trust me, if you don’t pay attention, you’re just a complete self centered asshole. Get off the damn phone! Watch where you are going! And NO, you do NOT own the road. You share that ownership with MILLIONS of other people whose lives may depend you!
A Few Items Worth Reading Today
I’m having a Monday. Actually, it seems that the “Monday mentality” has been invading for a while now. The further into the D’Bama administration we get, with the politicians in D.C. working very hard to destroy this country, I’m finding it more and more difficult to express an opinion on the most important issues of the day. After a while, a person runs out of ways to say “THEY ALL SUCK!”
It’s actually more serious than that. It’s not just that they suck, I’m actually starting to believe they are down right evil. Spawn of Satan! When you get a small number of people, creating such massive bureaucracies in order to control every aspect of your life, with the express intent of destroying a once great nation, I can think of no other explanation.
Energy Policy? What Energy Policy?
The administration is bent on reducing access to national energy resources, coal, oil and natural gas, combined with a bizarre emphasis on “alternative” or “renewable” sources in the form of wind and solar energy. European nations that went this course ended up with fewer jobs, insufficient energy for the money invested, and massive fraud in its carbon credits exchanges.
Left acts to shut down talk radio
Kimber charged that “KMJ programming is dominated by … talk hosts that are anti-government, anti-President Obama …” He went on to declare that this kind of talk “creates an atmosphere of divisiveness that allows for the real possibility of violence toward elected officials including the president of the United States.”
He offered no examples of this connection between critical talk and subsequent violence because there are none to offer – unless you attend one of the lectures given by radical imams.
During the Bush years, criticism and dissent were “patriotic.” Today, the left embraces its inner censor.
But what did the “loss” of Daniel Pearl mean? Well, says the president, it was “one of those moments that captured the world’s imagination.” Really? Evidently, it never captured Mr. Obama’s imagination, because if it had, he never could have uttered anything so fatuous. He seems literally unable to imagine Pearl’s fate, and so, cruising on autopilot, he reaches for the all-purpose bromides of therapeutic sedation: “one of those moments” – you know, like Princess Di’s wedding, Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction, whatever – “that captured the world’s imagination.”
Donaldson and Roberts Defend Calderon: Clinton Criticized Tiananmen, Reagan Challenged Gorbachev
“So he gets up and lectures us on moral governance and gets a standing ovation from Donna’s party. The fact is, Mexico has two big exports: Oil, and their second biggest export is poverty to the United States – from which, in remittances sent back to Mexico, they get $21 billion a year. Mr. Calderon has a stake in illegal immigration to our country.”
Study Points to Health Law’s Penalties
As they study the law, employers are discovering another provision that got much less attention. If a company offers coverage but requires any full-time employees to pay premiums that amount to more than 9.5 percent of their household income, the coverage is deemed unaffordable, and the employer may have to pay a penalty.
The Times Discovers That European Socialism Sucks
Heartbreaking, I know. But then, social-welfare systems were actually affordable for a while when the U.S. a) was reconstructing their countries with the Marshall Plan and b) providing American troops and U.S. nukes to shield Europe from the hungry Soviet bear throughout the eighties and nineties. Hey — it’s easy to be a “lifestyle superpower” when you don’t have anything better to do:
Europeans have benefited from low military spending, protected by NATO and the American nuclear umbrella. They have also translated higher taxes into a cradle-to-grave safety net. “The Europe that protects” is a slogan of the European Union.
But all over Europe governments with big budgets, falling tax revenues and aging populations are experiencing rising deficits, with more bad news ahead.
Is it just me, or does anyone else see, not just the U.S., but the entire world, standing on the brink of insanity?

According to best estimates, the collapsed Deepwater Horizon oil rig is pumping about 210,000 gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico every day. But don’t worry, President Barack Obama has appointed an “independent” commission to investigate the spill. Our federal government will post an estimated $1.5 trillion budget deficit this year, and our debt is projected to equal 140 percent of gross domestic product within two decades. But don’t worry, President Obama has appointed a debt commission to solve the problem. Our nation’s southern border has degenerated into a violent, lawless and lethal zone. But don’t worry, Congress wants to empower a new commission to control the problem. And millions of Americans don’t know whether or not their health plan will be exempted from Obamacare. But don’t worry, faceless bureaucrats at the Department of Health and Human Services are already hard at work determining whether or not you will be allowed to keep your current health insurance.
