An Ol' Broad's Ramblings
Insert Four Lettered Words
I had no choice. I HAD to go to the grocery store. It was either that, or starve to death while the Mr is up in Wisconsin for the funeral. Ok, perhaps that’s a bit of a stretch, but still…the cats would have gotten pretty hungry. Now, I’ve been sick for more than 2 weeks, and haven’t even been out of the house, except to go the doc’s last week, so I haven’t much felt like spending time in Wally World. I decided that the best time to go would be during ol’ D’Bama’s blatherings this evening. Makes sense, right? Pfft!
I walk out the door, right at 7, figuring I’d be back long after it was all over. On the drive to town, I saw both ends of a rainbow, a downpour and the sun shining all at the same time. Oh, and that fool that was out there in the rain with the lawn mower.

I wandered through the grocery section of Wally World, which, of course, has been completely changed around so I can’t find anything, got the necessary items, go to check out, write my check, get grief from the cashier cuz I won’t giver her my phone number, load all the cat food, etc., into the truck, get in, turn the engine on, and guess what’s on the flippin’ radio!!!!! sigh…. So much for avoiding the lies and plans for more destruction.

You poor thing … I accomplished the task of not listening to the President blather on about things about which he knows nothing by finishing an article for the next issue of the Tennessee Patriot an following the merry madcaps undertaken by a certain old broad out west …
Much love!! If you need anything … just whistle …
