I don’t know why I hate Mondays. It’s not like I have to get up and go to work or anything. Maybe it’s just a psychological hangover from when I did get up and head to work at the crack of dawn? Who knows. These days, though, I think it’s because we find out all the nasty things that the administration has pulled over the weekend. The Friday evening announcements that rarely get covered in the news because there is so much else happening Monday morning type thing? Could be.
And seriously, how many ways can you say “I miss my country”, or “I detest that POS”, or……… You get the picture.
So, yep….having a Monday. And I hate it!

Oh Lordie! I hear ya! And, YES…..I get the picture!
I HATE them too!!!
These days I am nearly afraid to turn on the Morning News, (Fox Channel), of course…..the only news channel that I know tells it like it is!
You never know what terrible, horrible event one is going to hear about on Monday mornings. As I was reading your post, the movie I watched on TV last night literally popped into my head! “War of the Worlds”……..the newer one with Tom Cruise.
Unfortunately I think we have more to fear from our own government than we do any ‘aliens’ from outer space!
I am constantly filled with impotent fury at our current Admin., and I think they are all going to get a comeuppance in November. That’s if it manages to arrive without mishap. But then I wonder if even our freedom to elect whom we want in office has been tampered with too!!
I always preferred the book. LOL I still can’t figure how so many people got so duped by the lump of crap occupying the WH.
Because, m’dear, most people are stupid. Plain as that. I’m honestly shocked at some of the people who voted for him – some of my friends who are normally conservative. If we would have had a better candidate, this MIGHT not have happened.
Perhaps this is God’s way of giving us all a much needed wake-up call.
Which will only work if people actually wake up.
Talked to a person who did vote for him the other day. The look on her face when I asked her if she watched the speech. Priceless. Yep…a few are finally getting it, but the propaganda machine is keeping way too many in the dark.
