This is the one-world-government idea scrambled well with extreme environmentalism. It is beyond comprehension how any intelligent person could believe that any such thing would work, much less be a good idea.
Consider for a moment the idea that we will dumb down the population to the point that they are unsure where 2+2=4 or 2+2=5. Then who will build these rabbit warren high rise structures that they propose to house the population in in the very limited allowable living zones? (No structural engineers, because that requires far too much math.) Further, with no agriculture, how will they eat? Will they all go out into the forest each day to gather berries and roots? The whole city? Every day? How do they think that they can control a world wide empire with the primitive smoke signal communications that they will have (remember, there are no electronics folks around any more, way too much math required), so that every body stays on exactly the same page, no part of the world deciding to do things any different and get ahead? Do they really think that they can permanently obliterate all knowledge? Somewhere, someone will start to think, and then there will be trouble in the system!
If they ever managed to implement such a system, it would immediately begin to fall apart by itself as people begin to advance, to think, to progress. These very factors mean that they will never be able to implement such a system, but that does not mean that they will not try. Like every other socialist utopia, this is the dream of idiots. It simply must be stopped before it is allowed to do too much damage.
Y’know, I vaguely remember a teacher in HS who said he could prove that 2+2=3.
Dumbing down has been a past time for way too long. If you are in the same generation as I am, you’ll remember when we actually had to LEARN, pass a test, or flunk. Below 79 was a failing grade. Now, what it is…..a 50? sigh… Kids can’t work at McDonald’s now without having a picture on the register? And unless the machine tells them, they can’t make change.
Doc, they are already working on implementing this fiasco. It won’t be just us that suffer, it will be developing countries. It will be 3rd world countries as well, as they won’t be able to pull themselves out of poverty, and get rid of the tyrants that have held them there for way too long.

OB, I’m pretty sure I am a good bit older than you are, so I have very little concern about this affecting me personally. I am greatly concerned, however, about the idea of this plague falling on the country that I love, my children and grandchildren.
I don’t dispute that they are already working on implementing this. The number of stupid people increases daily, and BHO’s big push for “every body go to college” is more of the same. He wants to make college simply upper level kindergarten. Most of the so-called “community colleges” are pretty close to being there now. There do, however, continue to be a few places where you can get a good education, but only a few.
What these utopians have not done, and cannot do, is come up with a way to kill the human desire to acquire things. We are all given a natural desire to have things, and a part of maturing is learning to control that desire, to channel it, and to limit it. But you can never completely kill it. What they propose will require that people be prepared to sacrifice themselves daily for the good of the planet, and it just is not going to happen. How many people do you know who will honestly say, “I will go hungry today so that the earth may heal”? Particularly when they see that their going hungry does not change a thing for the earth, but it sure makes them hungry!!
This whole scheme will require oceans of Kool-Aid applied forever. Short of that, it will fall apart in short order.
LOL It was some weird theoretical nonsense. Since I have one of those logical type brains, I could never grasp the concept. Heh.

I SO wanted the oldest one to go to Hillsdale, but it doesn’t look like that’s ever going to happen. sigh…
Seriously, the Mr and I frequently discuss how frightening this world is getting. It’s starting to look more and more like Revelation, IMHO.
Hillsdale is one of the two schools left in the US that I can honestly recommend. The other is Grove City College, Grove City, PA. Both of them refuse all federal funding and tell the feds where to get off. They are first class schools.
It is too bad your oler granddaughter is not going to Hillsdale. At another blog, I have been reading occasional posts from a Hillsdale student, and they are very impressive. These kids really learn a lot! This is so unlike virtually every other college in the country.

Well then, let me introduce you to Calvin Freiburger! Smartest kid I’ve ever met. Almost scary when he was in high school. LOL His personal blog is pretty good too.
Gives more insight into why the U.N. wants to take guns out of private possession. Can’t implement the new world order if you have armed, trained, freedom-loving Americans.
I will say this – the indoctrination in schools is working. I talked with my 19 year old sister for an hour and a half the other night, and she was fairly clueless about things, especially our Declaration of Independence. She had no idea that it said it is the right and duty of the people to throw off an oppressive government. Then again, my dad didn’t either.
This is why it’s so important for those of us with the knowledge and yearning for truth to teach the masses as much as possible. It starts with family and friends, and we’ll be viewed as radicals (as my wife has told me many of her friends view me), but I’d rather be a free radical than an enslaved sheep.
Freedom is an idea – they can’t kill it. Humans know they were meant for more than slavery, even if they don’t know how to do it. The globalists’ plan would fall apart quickly because of this. Well, that is if the Lord doesn’t come back first.
The infamous “they” have been chipping away at our freedom for a long time, and we didn’t even notice. Your sister and dad aren’t alone. There are way too many who just took “them” at their word. Yep, those who really know, HAVE to share the knowledge. We’ve been so dumbed down through our NON education system, it’s not at all surprising that so many of us are clueless. And after all, wasn’t that one of the bullet points of communism? Get the minds of the young, through education, and mold them into the desired ignorance? It’s worked.
