The Raving Lunatic Speaks
Ahmadinejad Calls to Liberate America
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad went on a tirade against the United States and the Jewish people in a speech given last week in Shahre-Kord in central Iran. The speech was printed in Iran’s Fars media and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
Among other things, Ahmadinejad announced a new goal: “liberating” the US.
“I hereby announce that from this point forward, one of the Iranian nation’s main aspirations will be to deliver the American people from [its] undemocratic and bullying government,” he said.
Holy crap! I actually agree with ONE thing Ahmadinnerjacket says. We do have a bullying government. However, the USA is NOT a democracy, and we sure as hell don’t need ‘liberating’ by someone who is many fries short of a Happy Meal.
He also condemned Jews and Israel, saying “the West” had “gathered the filthiest and greatest of criminals, who only appear to be human from all corners of the earth… so that they would occupy the lands of Palestine.”
Are all Muslim dictators this ignorant about history? FACTUAL history? Insulting the Jewish people seems to be a Muslim habit. Jealousy is an ugly thing, and this is more evidence that people like ‘dinnerjacket are extremely jealous of the success of Israel.
Ahmadinejad’s statements follow the imposition of a fourth round of sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program. The Iranian president said the sanctions do not concern him. “Why must I worry, when I have a plan to change the world… [to change] the unilateral and discriminatory world order?” he asked.
The discrimination comes completely from the Muslim world. Israeli Arabs have more freedom the any Jew living in a Muslim country….what few there are left.
I HATE MONDAYS!
I don’t know why I hate Mondays. It’s not like I have to get up and go to work or anything. Maybe it’s just a psychological hangover from when I did get up and head to work at the crack of dawn? Who knows. These days, though, I think it’s because we find out all the nasty things that the administration has pulled over the weekend. The Friday evening announcements that rarely get covered in the news because there is so much else happening Monday morning type thing? Could be.
And seriously, how many ways can you say “I miss my country”, or “I detest that POS”, or……… You get the picture.
So, yep….having a Monday. And I hate it!
When “Voluntary” Is Not
Time to Stand Up to the National Standards Agenda

Last year, GM CEO Rick Wagoner “voluntarily” stepped aside when Washington took over his company. BP is “voluntarily” setting up a $20 billion escrow account. And now, states are being pushed to “voluntarily” adopt national education standards and tests.
It all began when the Obama administration used its $4.35 billion Race to the Top competitive grant fund as an incentive for states to adopt standards under development by the National Governors Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers (one of the “education blob” groups that protects the status quo against parent-empowering reforms). Initially, the competition was enough of an incentive to get 48 states – all but Alaska and Texas – to go along with the idea of national standards. Alaska and Texas chose not to apply for Race to the Top funding because of the provision requiring adoption of national standards. Texas Gov. Rick Perry stated that the Obama administration’s requirement that states adopt national standards “is an effort to undermine states’ authority to determine how their students are educated, and is clearly aimed at circumventing laws prohibiting national standards.”
Surprising?
Not one single bit!
Obama spill panel big on policy, not engineering
The panel appointed by President Barack Obama to investigate the Gulf of Mexico oil spill is short on technical expertise but long on talking publicly about “America’s addiction to oil.” One member has blogged about it regularly.
Only one of the seven commissioners, the dean of Harvard’s engineering and applied sciences school, has a prominent engineering background — but it’s in optics and physics. Another is an environmental scientist with expertise in coastal areas and the after-effects of oil spills. Both are praised by other scientists.
The five other commissioners are experts in policy and management.

I’m about as qualified to run this show as those bozos are! This is nothing more than another fat government bureaucracy, and as useless as teats on a boar! I don’t know about you, but I am sick of this whole incompetent administration, and it’s minions in Congress! The political agenda to destroy the country marches on.

Dad’s Day
I miss my dad. He’s been gone since 1981, and I still miss him. I guess I always will. He was an older man, born in 1907, so wasn’t exactly a spring chicken while I was growing up. I missed some activities that most dads would be involved with that are younger, but looking back, it didn’t really matter in the long run. I knew he loved me. Who else would go to an orphanage, and pick out a kid that wasn’t his, biologically? This made him head and shoulders above all other dads, in my book. I got chosen, not foisted.
My dad was a character, and could tell some tales. Most were based in truth. Some? Well, he was a dad, after all. LOL
Yep, I miss my dad.
Zach Wamp
I haven’t said much about the upcoming primary for TN governor. I already knew who I would NOT be supporting, but wasn’t going to be negative on the guy. I’ll be perfectly honest, the one and only time I met Zach Wamp, I got the willies, BEFORE I knew that’s who he was. He just reminded me way too much of Russ Feingold. Not in looks, but in manner. Smarmy is the word that comes to mind when I think of Feingold. I’m sure Wamp’s a real nice guy, once you get to know him. As a matter of fact, I’ve been told he is actually terrific by some who DO know him very well. I’m sure Feingold is too. But when it comes to politics, nice in personal encounters, and the type of person I’d want running the show, are not the same thing. I needed more info about Wamp’s votes in Congress, and now, I have it (via email, without me doing all the work

A few of the items he Voted FOR, that I disagree:
Cash for Clunkers Funding – (H.R. 3435) The vehicles traded in were destroyed, meaning cars not ready for
the junkyard would be taken off the road, reducing the stock of used vehicles and inflating the prices of used cars. Subsidizing the car industry is unconstitutional and wasteful.
Energy-Water Appropriations – (H.R. 3183) The funds would provide $27.1 billion for the Energy Department, $5.4 billion for the Army Corps of Engineers, and $1.1 billion for the Interior Department’s Bureau of Reclamation. The Department of Energy is not authorized by the Constitution.
COPS Funding – (H.R. 1139) The funds authorized would aid in the hiring of law-enforcement officers. Providing federal aid to local law-enforcement programs is not only unconstitutional, but it also further federalizes the police system.
Supplemental Appropriations – (H.R. 2346) The Fiscal 2009 Supplemental Appropriations bill would provide an additional $96.7 billion in “emergency” funding for the current fiscal year over and above the regular appropriations. Some of the spending (e.g., foreign aid) is unconstitutional.
Bailout Bill – (H.R. 1424) This bill authorizes the Treasury Department to use $700
billion of taxpayer money to purchase troubled mortgage-related securities from banks and other
financial-related institutions, on terms set by the Treasury Secretary, who now has authority to
manage and sell those assets.
Economic Stimulus – (H.R. 5140) The stimulus has no offset and thus increases the federal deficit by the amount of the stimulus because the government must borrow the rebate money. A realistic long-term stimulus can only be achieved by lowering taxes through less government and by reducing regulatory burdens.
Thought Crimes – (H.R. 1955) Critics charge that the bill is a thinly disguised attempt to criminalize dissent,
based on the bill’s vague and open-ended language that could be used to trample basic rights to
free speech and assembly, and turn legitimate dissent into thought crimes. This bill threatens legitimate dissent.
Minimum Wage – (H.R. 2) Though many people believe that raising the federal minimum wage is a solution
to national poverty, allowing the market to dictate wages allows entry-level workers to get the
experience and job training they need to get higher paying jobs.
Foreign Aid – (H.R. 5522) Though foreign aid is supposed to help the poor and suffering in other countries, it instead has served to prop up economically deficient socialist regimes and to transfer wealth from American taxpayers to third-world elites.
Oman Trade Agreement – (H.R. 5684) These so-called free trade agreements have historically failed because they encourage the relocation of U.S. jobs to foreign countries so that the companies can get cheap labor. Meanwhile, they don’t provide the United States with trade benefits — largely because the people in those countries cannot afford to buy our products — thereby harming the U.S. economy. The agreements also
put our economic destiny in the hands of unelected foreign bureaucrats, such as those at the World Trade Organization.
Labor-HHS-Education Appropriations – (H.R. 3010) This massive social-welfare appropriations bill would provide $601.6 billion in fiscal 2006 for the Labor Department ($14.8 billion), the Education Department ($63.5 billion), the Health and Human Services Department ($474.1 billion), and related agencies.
Well, you get the idea. There are many such examples since he has been in Congress. It appears that Rep. Wamp has way too much fun spending other people’s money, as does the majority of Congress. I honestly do not want a governor that has no problem with reckless, and mostly unconstitutional spending.
What did he vote AGAINST? Not much, and few he should have vote FOR.
Ban on UN Contributions, not funding Mental Health Screening, Online Freedom of Speech, overhaul U.S. Treasury Borrowing, Defunding the NAIS, eliminate some Katrina Funding, bar funding of Iran Military Operations, specific congressional approval for Iran Military Operations, Iraq Troop Withdrawal.
So, now it’s come down between Ron Ramsey and Bill Haslam. Honestly, I’m leaning toward Ramsey, but if Haslam or Wamp wins the primary, I suppose either would be better than another Democrat.

President Blames GOP for Making Life Harder on Unemployed
President Barack Obama on Saturday pinned blame on Republicans for making life harder for the unemployed and for those who could lose their jobs without new federal intervention. He did so even as he sought to distance himself from the “dreary and familiar politics” of Washington.
Capping a week in which the administration scored a victory — a $20 billion fund to be paid by BP for those hurt by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill — Obama reserved his radio and Internet address to focus on the work that didn’t get done.
His main concern was the rejection of a bill in the Senate that would have provided more money for the long-term unemployed, aid for strapped state governments and the renewal of popular tax breaks for businesses and individuals.
For the love of all that’s holy, is he freakin’ serious??????? Does this man/child know nothing about economy? Oh, wait. Stupid question. Of course he doesn’t! If he did, he’d stop blaming everyone else for his own BS agenda and the failures it’s brought! No, the crapulous is NOT working. No, raising taxes will not solve economic problems. And OH HELL NO, the government is NOT the answer!
“If this obstruction continues, unemployed Americans will see their benefits stop,” Obama said. “Teachers and firefighters will lose their jobs. Families will pay more for their first home. All we ask for is a simple up or down vote. That’s what the American people deserve.”
What the American people deserve is a POTUS with a clue! Knock it off with the ‘teachers and firefighters’ excrement. No one is buying into it anymore.
“We have an obligation to care for the next generation,” Obama said. “So I hope that when Congress returns next week, they do so with a greater spirit of compromise and cooperation. America will be watching.”
Great Aunt Rosie’s bloomers! No! No compromise! No more spending! No more hand outs! No more! NO MORE! I use to find his ignorance, and inability to use common sense, a smidge amusing, in demented sort of way. Now? I don’t find anything about that kid amusing! I find him extremely dangerous.

Wrong On So Many Levels!
Obama Administration to File Suit Against Arizona Immigration Law
The Obama administration will file suit to challenge Arizona’s immigration law, an official told Fox News on Friday.
The confirmation comes after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in an interview with a TV station in Ecuador earlier this month that the administration would challenge the law in court, though officials had long said the issue was under review.
Administration officials initially would not confirm Clinton’s statement. But an official told Fox News on Friday that while the review is still underway, the decision has already been made that a Department of Justice suit will be filed. The administration at this point is just building its case.
The ‘administration’ is so full of male bovine excrement, they stink up the whole country! Wanna know what I think? I think every rational legal citizen of the United States of America should sue the pants off the federal government for FAILING to protect the nation from invaders!
These people don’t give a tinker’s good g-damn about the citizens of this country. They are against damn near everything the majority of the people want. They are FOR everything the citizens are against. There is something REAL wrong with this scenario. They no longer reflect the needs of the nation. They do not represent those who elected them to office. They need to be removed. They MUST be removed!
No one wants their interference, yet they continue on their merry way, defying We, The People. The FCC is working to take over the internet, even though they have no legal, or Constitutional right to do so. We are going to be FORCED to put our health and well being into the hands of some federal bureaucracy, even though they have no legal, or Constitutional right to do so. The EPA, in all it’s feckless idiocy, makes it more difficult to deal with the worst ecological disaster this country has known, even though it has no Constitutional right to interfere. The list goes on and on.
I fear, if these people are not removed from office, have their power taken away, then there may very well be a Second American Revolution.
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
I’m Curious
While reading through HR 5175, I came across this little titdbit:
Sec. I, (c)
(4) The Federal Government has broad constitutional power to protect American interests and sovereignty from foreign interference and intrusion.
(5) Congress has a clear interest in minimizing foreign intervention, and the perception of foreign intervention, in United States elections.
Really? Then why isn’t Congress making sure the country is NOT being invaded by foreign nationals? Why did Congress applaud a foreign leader when he insulted the American people for wanting to prevent ‘foreign interference and intrusion’?
Now, I realize this bill is about so called campaign finance reform, but it does beg the question….why is Congress so full of hypocrites? Just askin’.
Cut the Waste!
Don’t you find it interesting that the same people who vote to take over your lives, and spend our grandchildren into oblivion, can’t be bother to vote FOR cutting wasteful spending? Not surprising, but extremely interesting. This tells me they don’t give a happy crap about your grandchildren, or even their own, for that matter. Just tells me they enjoy power so much, they don’t realize they are going to lose it in the not too distant future.
