An Ol' Broad's Ramblings

Well, looks like I won’t have time to do much reading today either. Shoot, haven’t had much time to any blog reading all week. I’ve been here a week and a day, and haven’t even gone shopping. REAL shopping. Grocery stores don’t count. Gotta eat, y’know. The Mr will be happy to know I have NOT run up the credit card bill…..much. Dinner at the Mexican place, that make me sick as a dog, doesn’t count either. So, in that spirit, and with the NEED for a personal item or two, Brat, Short Person, and I are going to the mall this afternoon. Afterward, we’ll be meeting up with Ick, who had to work today, to go see a movie and have dinner. Toy Story 3 is on the agenda. Really cool theater.
Last night, we sat up and watched Bill Cosby: Himself. I can’t believe Brat had never seen that! I really miss comedian like Cosby. Now days, every other word starts with “F”, and I don’t find ‘em all that funny. Oh, there are a few exceptions who don’t feel the need to out cuss each other, but they are getting more and more rare. No wonder there are people who think that’s an acceptable way to speak in public, or even in front of their kids.
Well, here’s a few posts to keep you busy:
