Feminists VS Feminine

Conservatives try to claim the term feminist as their own

For decades, the label feminist has been the exclusive property of women on the political left, with victimhood and abortion rights as feminism’s primary tenets, and the promulgation of grievances against the patriarchy its modus operandi. This election cycle a large cadre of traditional women have entered the the political arena and are challenging the sisterhood of bra-burners on their own turf, bringing what Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, calls “authentic feminism” to the national stage.

Growing up in the age of so called “feminists”, I frequently questioned my role in the world.  It took me a while, but I figured out, the N.O.W. bunch, etc., were not my cup of tea.  Such women did NOTHING to promote women, unless those same women bought into their agenda.  If you haven’t noticed, most “feminists” are NOT feminine.  I’ve had occasions to even question if they are female.  What woman would promote the murder of babies?  We are the nurturers of our bodies and the creation that God put there, NOT the executioners.  So, yes, I do question the motives.

God’s intended position for women in His glorious design of all things, is clearly stated in Psalm 8:  “4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, ; )  and hast crowned him with glory and honour.”
Seriously, though it is such a pleasure to see women, becoming aware of and confident in their worth and God-given abilities, it’s also a shame.  The task which they are undertaking,  out of our nation’s need, is one so beneath them that it is akin to the Queen cleaning toilets. That is what the “feminists” legacy really is.  We have been dumbed down to the feminist rhetoric to believe that work is a thing to be aspired to by women. Of course, we men didn’t help much. We reneged on our responsibilities to provide for women’s comfort and to foster an environment where the natural, God-given qualities of women are encouraged, rewarded, and considered a blessing. Instead, the feminist rhetoric fostered disenchantment with the very things in woman that any nation needs to survive; nurture, intuition, compassion, femininity and moral strength.
Feminism has it backwards. Their underlying precept is that men are superior and and that superiority needs to be challenged, that men’s role in the scheme of things is superior and that superiority needs to be debunked. But men are just the workhorses. Our God-given role is to provide for you, to keep you safe, and to establish the environment for you to flourish.
I know it won’t be this way until the Kingdom is established with Jesus on the throne here, and so I can only applaud the courage and fortitude of those wonderful mama grizzlies who are stepping up, to man’s shame, and undertaking what we should have done long ago.
