An Ol' Broad's Ramblings
Whew! What a Week!
And I’m darn glad it’s over! Well, technically, it’s not, but that bad part seems to be! Ok, granted most of it is an extreme blur, but consider the circumstances, ok? 
The Mr is now on his way home! Why am I not doing the driving? Well, because I was waiting to find out if he was going to be released today, and around what time. It didn’t make any sense for me to drive all the way to Jackson, wait around, no word, drive home, then get the call to come back to pick him up. The rate they were going, I was expecting him to be trapped until Monday. 
Well, it turns out that they gave him word he could go home while my pastor was visiting him, so that WONDERFUL man volunteered to hang around and drive him home. I’d love to be a fly on THAT wall. 
He’s suppose to take shots in his stomach, for a max of 2 weeks, PLUS take the ‘rat poison’. NO! I am NOT going to be giving him the shots. I love him, but there are some things I dread, like giving someone a shot! I can handle a lot of things, but that’s not one of ‘em. Yeah…I’m a wuss! I freely admit it!
He’s got to go in to get those levels checked on Monday, shift stuff if need be, or whatever they insist he do to continue his recovery.
Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY grateful for all the prayers sent our way! They have meant more than I will ever be able to express!
SOOOO glad to hear that!!! My father-in-law has been taking the rat poison for quite some time – and he’s a doctor! The Mr. will have to watch out…he may get horrible bruises with the slightest bump…nothing to be worried about. If y’all have any questions that you feel aren’t being answered to your satisfaction, I’ll be more than happy to ask Freddie!!

Great news and I know it’s been a rough week. If the shots are the same type that I had to take in my stomach after my hip surgery, they’re really not bad and I was able to give them to myself. I can tell you that’s a HUGE thing because I have never gotten along with needles!
Pfft! Ain’t gonna do it! LOL
