Look Who’s ‘Nativist’ Now!
by Ann Coulter

“Nativism in American politics has become so rampant that it is considered scandalous in Republican circles for a judge to acknowledge paying any attention to foreign courts and their legal rulings.” — New York Times editorial, Aug. 3, 2010

The New York Times runs this same smug editorial every few months — at least I think it’s the same editorial — to vent its spleen at conservatives who object to American judges relying on foreign law to interpret the U.S. Constitution.

But when it comes to anchor babies, The New York Times and the entire Democratic establishment plug their ears and hum rather than consider foreign laws on citizenship. (For more on this, see “Mexican immigration law versus U.S. immigration law.”)

Statue honoring Martin soldier stolen

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — A statue honoring a West Tennessee soldier killed in combat has been stolen.

WCMT radio quoted Martin Police Captain Don Teal, who said the community is incensed. The department is asking the public for help in finding who is responsible. The statue is believed to have been taken Friday or Saturday.

The concrete statue was erected by the family of Sgt. Dustin Laird. It had twice before been vandalized and repaired.

In 2008, two people from Martin confessed they painted a skull over the face of the statue and doused it with red paint.

The head and arms were broken off in May 2010.

The soldier it honors was killed in 2005 by an improvised roadside bomb while serving in Iraq.

There are a lot of useless beings in this world, and those who did this are less than useless.  I pray they find the scum sucking SOBs and throw them UNDER the jail, AFTER the family gets through with him/her/it!

Mosque supporters beg George W. Bush to come to Obama’s rescue

There’s a new argument emerging among supporters of the Ground Zero mosque. Distressed by President Obama’s waffling on the issue, they’re calling on former President George W. Bush to announce his support for the project, because in this case Bush understands better than Obama the connection between the war on terror and the larger question of America’s relationship with Islam. It’s an extraordinary change of position for commentators who long argued that Bush had done grievous harm to America’s image in the Muslim world and that Obama represented a fresh start for the United States. Nevertheless, they are now seeing a different side of the former president.

Let’s see….D’Bama has consistently blamed Bush for everything. Literally EVERYTHING! I wouldn’t be surprised if he was blaming GWB when he misses a shot on the basketball court!  The media has been right there with him blaming the POTUS that left office nearly 2 years ago.  And now they want Bush to climb on board their crazy train?  Seriously?

Well, if he does, which I pray he won’t, and there are jihidis sprouting out of that place, then who will get the blame?  Sure won’t be D’Bama!  Nope!  I can see it now….Slimes headline…..Dateline 2020 (or some such future date)…..

“Bush At Fault For Terror Attacks – Sharia Comes To America!”

“It’s time for W. to weigh in,” writes the New York Times’ Maureen Dowd. Bush, Dowd explains, understands that “you can’t have an effective war against the terrorists if it is a war on Islam.” Dowd finds it “odd” that Obama seems less sure on that matter. But to set things back on the right course, she says, “W. needs to get his bullhorn back out” — a reference to Bush’s famous “the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!” speech at Ground Zero on September 14, 2001.

This is the same bimbo that wrote: They wanted to make absolutely, positively certain that W. was gone. It was like a physical burden being lifted, like a sigh went up of “Thank God. Has Cheney’s wheelchair left the building, too?” Plus many other not so ‘polite’ statements. Now, she’s whining that Bush should step forward to proclaim building a monument to hatred is a good thing?

Let’s put this out there. I don’t care that Bush, or anyone else, has claimed Islam is a ‘religion of peace’. He was wrong. Peace has NEVER been the goals of Muslims. Domination of ALL peoples is their stated goal.

U.S. may sue Arizona’s Sheriff Arpaio for not cooperating in investigation

A federal investigation of a controversial Arizona sheriff known for tough immigration enforcement has intensified in recent days, escalating the conflict between the Obama administration and officials in the border state.

Justice Department officials in Washington have issued a rare threat to sue Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio if he does not cooperate with their investigation of whether he discriminates against Hispanics. The civil rights inquiry is one of two that target the man who calls himself “America’s toughest sheriff.” A federal grand jury in Phoenix is examining whether Arpaio has used his power to investigate and intimidate political opponents and whether his office misappropriated government money, sources said.

We have corrupt politicians running rampant in D.C. There are Islamonazis plotting the demise of the nation, and her citizens. There are millions crossing our borders, many of who are violent criminals. The list is LONG!  And what does the Obama administration focus on? Why…a county sheriff, DOING HIS JOB, naturally!

Not only is this administration dangerous for the country as a whole, which is bad enough, it’s also extremely petty.  Their childish actions are proving, time and time again, just how incompetent they are!

HOLDER MUST GO!

It’s OK To LIE?

Appeals court: Stolen Valor Act unconstitutional

A three-year-old federal law that makes it a crime to falsely claim to have received a medal from the U.S. military is unconstitutional, an appeals court panel in California ruled Tuesday.

The decision involves the case of Xavier Alvarez of Pomona, Calif., a water district board member who said at a public meeting in 2007 that he was a retired Marine who received the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military decoration.

Mr. Alvarez was indicted in 2007. He pleaded guilty on condition that he be allowed to appeal on First Amendment grounds. He was sentenced under the Stolen Valor Act to more than 400 hours of community service at a veterans hospital and fined $5,000.

A panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with him in a 2-1 decision Tuesday, agreeing that the law was a violation of his free-speech rights. The majority said there’s no evidence that such lies harm anybody, and there’s no compelling reason for the government to ban such lies.

Is common decency a ‘compelling reason’?  You can’t shout FIRE in a crowded theater.  It is NOT protected under the 1st Amendment, nor should a feckless weasel LYING about his military service.  It dishonors all who DID receive such medals.   It is a slap in the face to every honorable person in the country.  But then, this IS the 9th circus, and judging by many of their decision, honor isn’t even in their vocabulary.

In my limited understanding of the 1st Amendment, the phrase “abridging the freedom of speech”, does NOT protect thieves. And that’s what this case represents….THEFT!

THOU SHALT NOT STEAL!!
