The Fence
(Been around for a while, but should be pointed out frequently.)
If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!
If a Republican doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a Democrat doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Democrat wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a Republican doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Democrats demand that those they don’t like be shut down.
If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.
If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Democrat demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a Republican reads this, he’ll forward it so his friends know how to vote in November!
A Democrat will delete it because he’s “offended”.

Ol’ Broad, ol’ Braud,
Don’t you see how unenlightened you are? Can’t you just get with the program here? Why is this so hard?
What you need is to listen to better thinkers and follow after greater role models.
For instance, I was just over browsing the comments at cnn.com on that horrible story of the woman who suffocated her two babies, and I found this burst of enlightenment from someone calling themselves “Lilywhite”:
So perhaps, we should offer free birth control. Perhaps we could garnish the wages of the deadbeat dads? Maybe make qualified childcare free up until school age? Maybe give single moms free college/university educations? Maybe prove welfare dollars to children directly with a court appointed guardian to look after the money? Maybe take the children away and mandate that people with higher IQs, bigger bank accounts and better housing, foster the children? Or maybe just sterilize men who have more that one child out of wedlock?

We haven’t showered her with opportunities (including “free” stuff because everybody knows that nobody has to pay for “free” stuff),
we haven’t properly given full control over society to people with higher IQ”s (because the intellectual elites have done such a bang-up job on everything else they’ve touched so far), and most importantly
a man is to blame. If a women kills her babies, let’s sterilize a man. Yessiree, this is all a guy’s fault.
Really, why can’t you see the logic of this? Don’t you see how you and those who share your beliefs DESERVE to be scorned by the average liberal?
So let’s all lay down the guns (and that wrinkled, outdated piece of parchment up in D.C), braid ourselves some daffodil garlands, and follow these brilliant moralists into the unimaginably bright future they have planned for the United States of America.
A future where even mothers who murder their own children in cold blood can hold their heads up and smile.

Yet, you fail to mention that if a Republican is homosexual, said Republican isn’t trying to FORCE their lifestyle on anyone else.
