Have you read this? Whoever wrote it doesn’t have the basic knowledge that I did in the 4th grade when it comes to the U.S. Constitution and our history, or what our foundation is based on.

MSNBC Swears to Allah That Obama’s Not A Muslim

MSNBC’s Monday programming was dedicated to denouncing Sen. Mitch McConnell’s response to a question about whether Obama is a Muslim.
McConnell said: “We all have to rely on the word of (Barack Obama) — something about as reliable as a credit default swap.”
No, I’m sorry, that’s what The Atlantic’s Andrew Sullivan said about whether Trig Palin was really Sarah Palin’s child.
McConnell responded by demanding that Obama be fired — or at least have his security clearance suspended.
*shaking head*
I’m still trying to come to grips with this:
Sen. John McCain fended off Republican challenger J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona Senate primary Tuesday, virtually assuring he’ll keep his seat in November despite signs earlier in the year that an anti-Washington wave could wipe out one of Capitol Hill’s most influential leaders.
Seriously Arizona? Are you kidding me? McCain is nothing more than a chameleon. He wets his finger, holds its up, checking which way the wind is blowing. RINO is the nicest thing I can say at this point in time.
McCain-Feingold? McCain-Kennedy? Does Arizona do cross over primary voting? I would have thought that anyone with an ounce of common sense would realize this extremely old dude had been in the Senate long enough, and it is WAY past time for him to go home. He, and the too many like him, who have become too entrenched in D.C. politics, are the reason we NEED term limits!

NYC mayor: Blocking mosque near WTC would compromise commitment to fight terror with freedom
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says not allowing a mosque to be built near ground zero would be “compromising our commitment to fighting terror with freedom.”
The mayor made the comment Tuesday in an impassioned speech at a dinner in observance of Iftar, the daily meal in which Muslims break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
Bloomberg says a compromise wouldn’t end the debate. He says the question would then become “how big should the no-mosque zone around the World Trade Center site be?”
Well, Mayor, if you’d like my answer to that question, I can tell you quite simply. 7,000 miles in every direction should just about do it. But, even then, that’s still too close!
