It’s Bush’s Fault! ad nauseam

Political fables
by Thomas Sowell

President Barack Obama boldly proclaims, “The buck stops here!” But, whenever his policies are criticized, he acts as if the buck stopped with George W. Bush.

The party line that we are likely to be hearing from now until the November elections is that Obama “inherited” the big federal budget deficits and that he has to “clean up the mess” left in the economy by the Republicans. This may convince those who want to be convinced, but it will not stand up under scrutiny.

No President of the United States can create either a budget deficit or a budget surplus. All spending bills originate in the House of Representatives and all taxes are voted into law by Congress.

Democrats controlled both houses of Congress before Barack Obama became president. The deficit he inherited was created by the Congressional Democrats, including Senator Barack Obama, who did absolutely nothing to oppose the runaway spending. He was one of the biggest of the big spenders.

Read the whole column here.

I’m one of those people who is beyond sick of hearing “IT’S ALL BUSH’S FAULT!”  I’m fairly sure I’m not the only one!  Yeah, Bush was far from perfect, but then, is anyone perfect?  Especially a politician?  However, to consistently blame the previous administration for everything, is more than just childish. Immature, petulant, juvenile….I’m sure there are more words to describe such behavior, but I’m having a tough time coming up with appropriate words to describe what we’ve been seeing for the last 20 months.

“I’m having a tough time coming up with appropriate words to describe what we’ve been seeing for the last 20 months.”

I know some words; but, because you are such a sweet, delicate  thing I will not use them.   :)

Heh.  Well, a few of those did cross my mind, but as you said….”sweet, delicate”!  LMAO

The one thing that I think he can continue to blame on Bush is the failure to control the border. He can continue to blame Bush in the sense that BHO has done exactly the same thing, somewhat worse when in comes to suing Arizona, but the pattern was clearly in place with Bush. Bush left us with a wide open border for which he should be ashamed. He was clearly pandering to big business who want cheap, cheap labor, and to the New World Order of which he was definitely a part and supporter.

During the early part of the 2008 campaign season, when Tommy Thompson was still a candidate for the Republican Presidential slot,  I asked him if the North American Union was real or not. He simply pooh-poohed my question.  Since he was currently serving in the Bush administration, I took that as a “yes,” and I am ever more convinced it is true.

Jumpin Jehosofat!!!   I can NOT wait to vote my mind in the NOVEMBER elections!!  Good grief!  I simple do NOT understand HOW that man is still holding the office of President of this country, when he is very obviously not helping anyone but himself and his freakin cronies!  Geeeeeez, why can we NOT impeach the f%&*er!

Now, now, now. Musn’t us ugly words like treason to to described the traitor pretending to be president. Just because he lied about every thing he said in his campaign, lied about his citizenship and continues to do so, has violated the oath of office flagrantly, has abused the powers of the office for his own purposes and to the detriment of Americans, and is hell bent on destroying America, political correctness requires that everyone close their eyes and talk about what a nice, clean black man he is who does not even talk like a negro (wasn’t that what Harry Reid said?). The point is, the truth is simply not allowed in today’s political discourse for any reason at all. They will swear that the sky is yellow and the sea is pink, and you better not disagree with them.

Sooooo, the most reasonable course of action is to get rid of every single one of those freaking (career) politicians!  Start all over from scratch, and make dang sure that every one of those voted in pass a freaking (lie-detector) test before they even take the office they are voted into!
This craziness is completely beyond my comprehension.  I have ordered the book about the “Jekyll Island” crew.  Dang rich people think they can do anything to anyone as long as they have enough money to pay someone off!
    Grrrrrrrrrr!!!
To ole broad…….I’m one too, (an ole broad that is), and I check your website every day.  Sorry about the ranting!  I just get sooo darn pissed-off!  I appreciate the “Glenn Beck” vids’.  Sometimes I miss his show.

Heh.  Not to worry.  I don’t get too upset about ‘rants’, unless of course they are from certain folks I won’t bother naming.  LOL

Problem with lie detectors on politicians….they’re so dadburn good at lying, wouldn’t surprise me if they could all pass ‘em.
