Catty Carla Bruni lifts lid on Michelle Obama’s ‘hellish’ job

Michelle Obama thinks being America’s First Lady is ‘hell’, Carla Bruni reveals today in a wildly indiscreet new book.

Miss Bruni reveals that Mrs Obama replied when asked about her position as the U.S. president’s wife: ‘Don’t ask! It’s hell. I can’t stand it!’

Puir wee babe! She’s got it SO rough!  I’ll be happy to accept her resignation.  Oh, and while she’s at it, she can hand over that guy she’s married to resignation as well.

Just One More “Excuse”, Out of Many

Muslims still protesting against Koran burning in US

Thousands of Iranians reportedly took to the streets on Wednesday, to protest Koran burning in the US. According to PressTV, the protesters gathered at Teheran’s Palestine Square, and shouted slogans accusing both the US and Israel of “orchestrating the Zionist plot.”

Fer the love of pete! These barbarians don’t need a reason to behave like…..well…..barbarians, they just look for excuses. And ANYTHING will do as an excuse!

Placards held by the demonstrators urged Jews and Christians to promise that such acts would not be repeated.

Tell ya what….we’ll denounce such actions when Y’ALL stop behaving like irrational 2 year olds, treat women as human beings, stop slaughtering anyone who disagrees with your barbaric beliefs, cease the stoning of men and women for any reason, real or made up, and how about not murdering anymore gays? That just MIGHT get our attention. Otherwise, you might as well take your toys and go home.

I wonder….do these bozos even know what Zionist means?

From Wikipedia: ….a nationalist Jewish political movement that, in its broadest sense, calls for the self-determination of the Jewish people in a sovereign Jewish national homeland.

From Jewish Virtual Library: ….the national movement for the return of the Jewish people to their homeland and the resumption of Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel, advocated, from its inception, tangible as well as spiritual aims.

From The Free Online Dictionary: A Jewish movement that arose in the late 19th century in response to growing anti-Semitism and sought to reestablish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Modern Zionism is concerned with the support and development of the state of Israel.

Then we have Christian Zionism: 1. In general – support for Israel and Zionism among Christians. 2. Support for restoration of the Jews based on Christian religious doctrine.

Wow!  I’m a Christian Zionist!  Big shocker, eh?  Heh.

And what is wrong with self-determination? Don’t most people (other than loony socialist libs) want self determination?  Is it so wrong for people to want to determine their own future?  Establish their own homeland?  I don’t see the connection between the Muslims’, worldwide, behavior and the accusation of a ‘Zionist plot”.  What a bunch of ……  Can’t even come up with an appropriate word!

The Obamacare and Obama Tax Hike Double Whammy on Seniors
The Foundry

No demographic was more opposed to Obamacare’s passage and no group wants to see the law repealed more than America’s seniors. They know that Obamacare used Medicare as a piggy bank to transfer half a trillion dollars out of Medicare, not to shore up Medicare’s solvency, but to spend on a new government program. As if that were not enough, now President Barack Obama wants to raise taxes on the dividend payments that millions of seniors depend on for their livelihood. American seniors are beginning to wonder when they’ll stop being target #1 of President Obama’s economy-crushing policies.

Are They Hard Of Hearing, Too?

15 September 2010, 9:47 am. 3 Comments. Filed under Opinion.

Karl Rove has done himself a great deal of damage. The establishment GOP is going to see a serious drop in donations IMHO. The NRSC might as well kiss their sorry hind ends goodbye! The PEOPLE have spoken!

Naturally, I got the required email from Jim DeMint, asking for donations, to support CONSERVATIVE candidates:

You see, the establishment in Washington is so upset by Christine’s victory, they are throwing one of the biggest political temper tantrums we’ve seen in a very long time.

Everywhere you turn, some know-it-all Beltway insider is throwing in the towel, saying they won’t do anything to help Christine defeat the Democrat in November. These phony Republicans apparently prefer to elect a liberal Democrat to fill the seat over a principled conservative.

After hearing that the NRSC wasn’t going to back the person that the people of Delaware chose to run, and represent them in Congress, I wanted throw something at the idjit box.  Instead, I’ll be throwing money towards CONSERVATIVE candidates like Christine O’Donnell, and the elite GOP, NRCC and NRSC can ALL bite my hinder! You hear that Michael Steele?  Thanks to the establishment elite not supporting Tim Michels in Wisconsin, I quit donating to the RNC in 2004.  (I’m still getting notices that my ‘membership’ has lapsed.  Gee, y’think?)

“Concessions”

15 September 2010, 7:48 am. 2 Comments. Filed under Opinion.

While searching for some information, I came across this little gem on a commie labor website.  After reading through the entire piece, it hit me, once again, that the propaganda of these sorts of sites prove that these fools have no idea how businesses actually work.

I get the impression that there is a mindset that the only reason a business exists is to provide fat pensions for the labor ‘leadership’, and ‘free’ health benefits for the workers.  Is it really so difficult for them to understand, without profits, there is NO BUSINESS? No profit, no jobs at all.  Whining that 200 jobs will be cut, instead of ALL the jobs, through a plant move elsewhere, just doesn’t make a bit of sense to me.  Moaning that wages will be frozen for a period of time, rather than being grateful the remaining employees still HAVE an income at all, just boggles.

I was actually surprised that the profit margin for a large company like Harley-Davidson was so low.   Do these yahoos know what a company does with those profits?  I mean other than pay those who do all the brain work large sums of money?  They typically re-invest in the business, so it can grow and provide more jobs.  They put bucks towards research to improve the product.  They keep a cushion in the bank so the company can keep it’s doors open through REALLY tough times.

I guess I’ll never understand the ‘entitlement’ mindset.  I don’t think I want to.  The emptiness of such a brain is a breeding ground for cobwebs.   I don’t like spiders.

I’m Out Of Tolerance

Christian graveyard grounds for mosque

A cleric of hard-line Muslims has constructed a mosque on a Christian cemetery in Pakistan.

Muslims in Sargodha, Pakistan, were led by a hard-line cleric to construct the mosque at that particular location. It was originally believed the workers were building an addition to the already existing mosque, but the group has been desecrating Christians’ graves. According to the All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA), the government issued an order to halt construction, but building resumed in spite of that.

If I hear one more time that Islam is a ‘religion of peace’, and we must show tolerance, I might just snap! I’m a very patient person, and believe very strongly in living in peace with my fellow humans. I’m at the point I am having a REAL hard time believing anyone who follows that pedophile so called prophet are even human. This is extremely reminiscent of the Jewsish gravestones used for paving roads by the Nazis.

Carrot I ‘Dis?

Bugs Bunny issues?  Well, shoot!  That doc talked pretty fast, so what I heard was carrot, as in orange veggie, and  I ‘dis.  Yeah….I should probably get a hearing aid….some day.  :P

Ok, so he says it’s karatitis…..”a condition in which the eye’s cornea, the front part of the eye, becomes inflamed. The condition is often marked by moderate to intense pain and usually involves impaired eyesight.”

Yeah. I knew there was pain involved….closer to the intense than the moderate.

So what caused it?

“No idea.”

Why the excessive tearing?

“To get rid of the debris.”

Where does the debris come from?

“Don’t know.”

Just a fountain of information, ain’t he. :?

Health Control and Obama Lies

Obamacare vs. the Rule of Law
The Foundry

Health Insurers Plan Hikes. That was the headline of a Wall Street Journal story last Tuesday which reported: “Health insurers say they plan to raise premiums for some Americans as a direct result of the health overhaul in coming weeks, complicating Democrats’ efforts to trumpet their signature achievement before the midterm elections. Aetna Inc., some BlueCross BlueShield plans and other smaller carriers have asked for premium increases of between 1% and 9% to pay for extra benefits required under the law, according to filings with state regulators.” And The Wall Street Journal was not alone. The Los Angeles Times and Dallas Morning News also reported rate hikes in their states, some as high as 16%. And this comes on top of news that Obamacare is forcing health care companies to stop offering coverage for kids and forcing colleges to stop offering coverage for students.

Tolerant of Murderous Thugs

I can’t add a thing to this column, so I’ll just let it stand.

Obama’s Tiresome Tolerance Lectures
by David Limbaugh

Why did President Obama choose tolerance as the subject of his speech at the Pentagon ostensibly to commemorate the victims of 9/11? Why is it that he insists on making this the overarching point at such events rather than, say, express our deep regret for the lost lives of the murdered Americans and repeat our national resolve to “bring to justice” those behind the massacre?

Then again, we are talking about President Obama here, the man who also believes the primary lesson we should learn from the Islamists’ beheading of journalist Daniel Pearl is that the freedom of press is alive and well. Speechless here.

Obama’s the guy who, instead of somberly lamenting the killing of 12 soldiers and a security guard by U.S. Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan at Fort Hood, began his remarks with a detached “shout-out” to Dr. Joe Medicine Crow, leaving the world to wonder just how warm the blood flowing through his veins is.

Build the Ground Zero Mosque, or else…

Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, mastermind of the Ground Zero Mosque, warns that moving the proposed structure somewhere less controversial would generate a barrage of negative press in Muslim countries. America is regularly demonized in that part of the world anyway, and Islamic radicals already hate this country. A mega-mosque in Manhattan won’t change that.

Read the whole column here.

You gotta be kidding! This is what we’re suppose to worry about? Muslim countries, that already hate us, are going to give us bad press?

A Few Quotes To Ponder

13 September 2010, 5:56 pm. Comments Off. Filed under Opinion, Socialism.

Lidwig von Mises (1881-1973)

The issue is always the same: the government or the market. There is no third solution.

Capitalism and socialism are two distinct patterns of social organization. Private control of the means of production and public control are contradictory notions and not merely contrary notions. There is no such thing as a mixed economy, a system that would stand midway between capitalism and socialism.

A society that chooses between capitalism and socialism does not choose between two social systems; it chooses between social cooperation and the disintegration of society. Socialism is not an alternative to capitalism; it is an alternative to any system under which men can live as human beings.

In the bureaucratic machine of socialism the way toward promotion is not achievement but the favor of the superiors.

A man who chooses between drinking a glass of milk and a glass of a solution of potassium cyanide does not choose between two beverages; he chooses between life and death. A society that chooses between capitalism and socialism does not choose between two social systems; it chooses between social cooperation and the disintegration of society. Socialism is not an alternative to capitalism; it is an alternative to any system under which men can live as human beings.

The nationalization of intellectual life, which must be attempted under Socialism, must make all intellectual progress impossible.

Socialism… is not the pioneer of a better and finer world, but the spoiler of what thousands of years of civilization have created. It does not build; it destroys. For destruction is the essence of it. It produces nothing, it only consumes what the social order based on private ownership in the means of production has created.

Socialism is unrealizable as an economic system because a socialist society would not have any possibility of resorting to economic calculation. This is why it cannot be considered as a system of society’s economic organization. It is a means to disintegrate social cooperation and to bring about poverty and chaos.
