Charlotte Bergmann: VERY Relevant!
From the Memphis Commercial Appeal:
He dismisses his general election opponent, who won the Republican nomination Thursday, as misguided and irrelevant. “Neither she nor Sidney Chism understand the African-American voter. If she understood (them), she wouldn’t be running on an extreme, right-wing, tea party platform that works totally against the interests of the African-American community.”
This is the woman who Cohen says doesn’t understand the “African-American voter”. Is she “irrelevant” because she is a woman? Or, because she is a black American? Or is it because she is pro-life and pro-family? Perhaps, she is “irrelevant” to Cohen, because she is actually part of the community of Memphis, and a CONSERVATIVE WOMAN. If the truth were to be known, in my personal opinion, Steve Cohen is the one who is irrelevant! Since when does the U.S. Constitution work against the “African-American community”?
Hi Ol’Broad . . . Charlotte and other TEA Party Conservatives are certainly RELEVANT. She sounds like a breath of fresh air. Her determination to achieve honest success is commendable and just what the Republicans need right now. I’m glad she’s aboard. . . Bump
Cohen is one of those who believe he’s entitled to keep that seat. Wish the folks of Memphis could get out of that ‘entitlement’ mentality. She’s a good lady, and would do Memphis proud.
