Congressional Reform Act of 2010
1. Term Limits. 12 years only, one of the possible options below..
A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms
2. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.
3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/11. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(S), then go home and back to work.
Now, if some Congresscritter would just have the cajones to introduce such a bill!

We are now inside of three weeks from the general election in November. The inevitability of a huge Republican landslide is looming. Even George Soros said he cannot stop the Republicans this year.
As the drumbeat of victory grows louder this year, within the tea-party movement there is a small but loud group calling on members not to vote Republican, but instead to vote for a third party, such as the Constitution Party or the American Independent Party.
Those who call for tea-party people to vote for these third parties point out that the Republicans cannot be trusted. The last time the Republicans were in power, they were as bad as the Democrats.
They are absolutely right.

Union ad rips Tea Party-backed candidates
In the radio ad, scheduled to run in seven states, the American Federation of Government Employees criticizes “bumper sticker solutions” Republican congressional candidates offer to lower the federal deficit, arguing that wholesale spending cuts would affect Social Security, veterans’ healthcare and border security, The Washington Post reported Friday.
“The Republican Tea Party Pledge to America says, ‘Cut taxes for the rich and cut government,’ ” union President John Gage says in the 60-second spot. “Some have even said, ‘Close the government down.’ Then what? Food and mine inspection — gone. Forget about border patrol or keeping terrorists locked up. And returning veterans? Give them a cheap voucher instead of a quality VA hospital. Let’s dump in the rivers and pollute the air again.”
Where do these yahoos come up with this stuff? LMAO I guess they, like the current administration, assume we are all so blatantly ignorant, we can’t see through the lies? Who is not giving seniors a COL in their SS? Who had called returning veterans ‘potential threats’? Who will NOT secure the border? Gimme a freakin’ break!
Acknowledging voter frustration, Gage tells listeners, “(When) you vote, remember who got us into this mess in the first place.”
Oh, trust me! We DO remember who got us into this mess. 2006….DEMOCRATS take over both houses of Congress. 2008, an incompetent, SOCIALIST man-child is put in a position he should never have had. And it’s all been downhill from there! Oh yes! We REMEMBER! Pay offs to union thugs. A health care bill that virtually NO American wants. A national debt that has tripled. Unemployment, officially at 9.6%, but in reality, is more like 23%. So, yes, let’s remember in November!
The American Federation of Government Employees, representing about 600,000 federal workers, said it plans to air the message through Election Day in Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The union said it will cost about $500,000.
Paid for with taxpayer money. I am a taxpayer and I do NOT approve these lies!

The State of Our Nation — Broken
When it comes to articulating the state of our nation, unfortunately, it’s not a tough task. Pick up any newspaper and you’ll see headlines about rising unemployment, skyrocketing healthcare premiums, and gloomy growth outlooks. The narrative is beyond troubling, but not challenging for anyone to grasp: big government is killing the country. Well, except if you’re running Washington. Or running from it.
There have been cracks showing for quite a while, and instead of doing something to stop the cracks, and reverse the damage, the stress of those cracks has now become a full blown break! Duct tape isn’t going to fix this! We’re gonna have to get a whole new one!
This election cycle Democrats aren’t talking about their legislative wins. Not one Democrat has taken out a paid ad touting Obamacare. Unwilling to acknowledge reality, Vice President Biden says they’re agenda is just too complicated to clarify to the public.
“Democrats aren’t running on the administration’s accomplishments like health-care and financial-regulatory overhaul and the stimulus because “it’s just too hard to explain,” Biden said.
That’s right, boys and girls. Don’t forget, we are just plain ignorant. Too stupid to understand the process. Although WE read the bills, unlike those in Congress who just don’t have the time, nor the inclination to educate themselves. This is Biden speak for “We don’t understand it, and no one has explained it to us, so we can’t explain it!” Reckon he didn’t get the memo that the American people are no longer buying their snake oil.
But the White House and Democrats spent over a year explaining their health care plan. Obama alone gave over 40 speeches on the subject. As for the stimulus, wasn’t that Biden’s baby? The lone piece of policy that he was tasked with selling during the highly inappropriately named “Recovery Summer?”
Well, what he did was run around the country, at the taxpayers expense, trying to convince his drooling acolytes his lies were actually truth. “Your insurance premiums won’t go up.” “If you like your insurance, you can keep it.” Little things like that. And if Biden doesn’t understand the crapulus failed, he hasn’t been paying attention. He reminds me more and more of a ventriloquist’s dummy.
Don’t ya wonder who has their hand up his back at any given time?
The truth is that this White House has spent plenty of time pleading their case. But the facts don’t lie. More Americans oppose than favor Obamacare. And more people than not believe that the stimulus has failed. If the policies are flawed and largely unpopular, no amount of clarification can help.
Thanks to some hard working folks, many conservative bloggers and pundits, we DO understand, and we don’t like it! We said so. Fairly explicitly too! The problem is not that we don’t get it. The problem is, THEY don’t! I’ve actually read these bills. Can the White House say the same?
Ah yes. If only they had talked about spending another trillion dollars on the now non-existent shovel ready projects and talked about Obamacare for three years instead of two, they left wouldn’t be facing this backlash.
Oh, there were “shovel ready projects” alright. The media have been holding the shovels, and Obama has been dishing out his B.S.!

Obama Wants $1.25 B to Compensate up to 66,000 African American Farmers for USDA Discrimination in 1981-96
Census Says African American Farmers Peaked at 33,000 in Those Years
President Barack Obama is requesting $1.15 billion from Congress—to add to a $100-million earmark he pushed through Congress in 2008 when he was a senator—to create a $1.25 billion federal fund to settle discrimination claims by what the Justice Department says is 66,000 African Americans who “farmed or attempted to farm” and were allegedly the victims of discrimination committed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) during the period from Jan. 1, 1981 to Dec. 31, 1996.
Now, if I have used the online calculator correctly (mine won’t go that high), and my sleep deprived brain is functioning, that works out to $108,750,000 per year. Since there were not 66,000 black farmers during those years, the Obama administration has basically doubled the number, for reasons known only to himself. But I think we can figure out a portion of his reasoning. I mean, after all, he IS the ‘post racial president’, right? /snark Nothing like creating racism, where none existed before in the general population. I don’t doubt racism played a part in some of the discrimination. We had moved forward during that time, but no where near enough. HOWEVER, even if there had been no discrimination, and the aid was given to those 33,000, what are the odds they would have NOT received, or earned such an amount during those 16 years.
In the first eleven months after the Oct. 12, 1999 deadline, however, an additional 61,000 people filed claims seeking compensation under the original Pigford settlement, according to a second Pigford settlement approved by a federal district court in February 2010.
Quite a lot of people claiming discrimination considering the actual number given by the U.S. census, don’t ya think? Gee, I wonder if there is a bit of FRAUD going on here? Hmmmm….
About 2,700 of these 61,000 were deemed to have satisfied an “extraordinary circumstances” test and were permitted to participate in the original claim resolution processes despite missing the deadline.
Ok, I’m sure there was a good reason for those 2,700 for missing the deadline. Sometimes, allowances should be made. But what about those other 58,300? Other than the FACT that not all of them were actual farmers during the stated time period, I’d be REAL suspicious! Yet, the POTUS wants to hand over $1.25 BILLION of OUR hard earned dollars to what can only be considered massive fraud. But then, this POTUS isn’t interested in true justice….for ALL. His agenda is to bankrupt the country,

Today, The Heritage Foundation released its 2010 Index of Dependence on Government. This annual report tracks the growth of dependence-creating federal programs, programs that crowd-out what was once America’s great civil society. At one time, social obligations and services were carried out by community groups, family networks and even local governments. Now, an ever growing and ever more unaccountable federal bureaucracy undermines our spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement by making more and more Americans dependent on Big Government. In 2010, we witnessed a record-breaking surge in American dependence on the federal government including:
- Government support for dependent persons has grown from $7,293 per person in 1962, to $31,950 per person today (adjusted for inflation).
- 132.5 million Americans either pay no income tax or live in a household that pays no income tax. This is up from just 34.8 million in 1984.
- Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid eat up 41% of all non-interest federal program spending. Unchecked, this will grow to 62% over the next decade.

The National Firearms Museum has just the thing: the Vampire Hunter’s Colt Detective Special.
The revolver has a cross engraved on the muzzle, presumably to keep vampires at bay while the vampire hunter takes aim. It spits silver .38-caliber bullets, each of which is sculpted in the form of a vampire’s head.
And its coffin-shaped box, lined with sanguinary-red velvet, comes with a helpful vial marked “Holy Water.”
Now, you know, there is going to be one of those nights, when some Victoria type just wants to ruin your good time. How better to deal with the problem than with a bonafide Vampire Gun? Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear for sale, so perhaps you should come up with one of your own?

If the Bush administration ever treated terrorism suspects the way Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal treats law-abiding citizens and small businesses, even conservatives would have blanched.
This activist, interventionist Democrat — like his identical, slightly less oily twin, Eliot Spitzer — decided at age 5 he was going to be a U.S. senator and then the first Jewish president. And he doesn’t care how many lives he has to destroy to get there.
Currently, Blumenthal is running for the U.S. Senate against Linda McMahon in Connecticut. He must be stopped.
What An Idiot!
Leave it to Chris Matthews to shoe-horn in a crass political point against the Tea Party, even in the midst of a heartwarming story like the rescue of the Chilean miners. On Wednesday’s Hardball, the MSNBC host, along with his guest Richard Trumka, president of the AFL/CIO, claimed those miners would never have survived if they had followed the “every man for himself” philosophy of the Tea Party crowd.
The fact is….Tingles is a moron! Unlike the leftards, Tea Partiers would be able to work together with NO problem. You see, we know everyone would have a job to do, and would do it. If that one person doesn’t do their job, everyone would suffer, and have to take up the slack.
Now, if a bunch of leftists, like Chrissy, had been stuck down there….. Think Detroit.

RFK Jr. for Crist: Rubio a ‘Crackpot,’ Meek Can’t Win
Marco Rubio is a “crackpot” and his Tea Party backers are stuck on stupid, environmentalist and Kennedy clansman Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Wednesday, giving his endorsement to Rubio opponent, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, in the U.S. Senate race.
Offering more reasons why he was rejecting Crist’s opponents than supporting Crist, the namesake of the iconic Democratic figure called the Tea Partiers backing Rubio, members of a “radical” movement that is really just “gloss for the corporate plutocracy that is threatening to crush our democracy.”
“(Rubio), like the other Tea Parties, has a radical vision, a very narrow vision, a I-can-be-as-stupid-as-I-want vision of this country,” Kennedy said to laughs from Crist supporters in the room.
Normally, I’d just blow this type of thing off as a “look at the source”. But, since I’m on medications that I am going to blame for not being able to control my temper…….
Listen you whiny ass little mama’s boy! Have you ever BOTHERED TO READ THE FREAKIN’ U.S. CONSTITUTION? Evidently not, since we TEA PARTIERS are BIG supporters of that document you obviously have never read, yeah….we’re radical alright….radical just like those who SIGNED that document!
