NO to Harwell!
It’s seems a battle is brewing for the leadership position in the TN House. Rep. Beth Harwell has expressed strong interest, with Rep. Kent Williams backing her. Well, that right there is enough to get me to say NO to her. Williams was the one who pulled the rug out from under Jason Mumpower for the speaker last time around, with the backing of the Democrats. He got his butt booted out of the TN Republican Party for his actions.
Also throwing his hat into the ring is Rep. Glen Casada. Now, there are some on the left who are making a big to do about Casada’s son being busted for streaking. Seriously? This is the best y’all can come up with? Did the kid molest children? No. Was he selling drugs at an elementary school? No. He was doing what a lot of 19 year olds do…..acting stupid. All this criticism from the same types who re-elected a killer, over and over again. Give me a flippin’ break!
I think I will urge my state rep, Vance Dennis, to support Casada. 
Seems to me a great way to bring attention to your cause would be to get a bunch of yer friends together and streak the capital building. :) That would certainly be a statement.

Well she is my representative and as I have said before she is a RINO, supported by a quasi RINO before he was kicked out of the party. She did not support her neighbor and fellow Republican, Dr. Steve Dickerson. She said she was a friend of Doug Henrys, a Democrat. At this juncture in the history of our Country, it is most important to support your party. Beth Harwell does not understand this or she has other motives. And her motives might be she wants to fill Doug Henry’s position, should he not be able to finish his term. And IMO, Doug Henry looks very tired. In a Speakers position she would be more prominent to be named. I believe Beth Harwell is all about Beth Harwell and should not be given that position and be rewarded for her selfish approach.
Where do you get this RINO stuff?? She did not ask for Williams endorsement. If you would check Beth Harwell’s voting record you will find that she consistently supports conservative legislation. As for supporting Steve Dickerson….I wholeheartedly agree with Beth. Dickerson was “running as a Republican”; however, he also claimed to be a “civil libertarian.” Beth Harwell’s integrity and character are above reproach and I firmly believe that she deserves to be the next Speaker of the House.
Jonner, since she’s not my rep, and it appears to be that Tonie is more familiar with her, I’ll just say she isn’t too strong on 2nd Amendment rights. You are actually the first person I’ve heard any support from for her.
