NO MORE FREAKIN’ RINOS!
So, the two Tennessee RINOs voted FOR S 510. I guess they really don’t like being Senators. Corker is up for re-election in 2012. Knowing many of the VERY active conservatives in this state, I’m thinking he might want to reconsider his job choices. He might find himself very embarrassed. Alexander will follow. Perhaps they should start their own little farm together, and be destroyed by the same feckless regulations they support?

Travesty
Ex-Gitmo Detainee Ahmed Ghailani Cleared of All but One Charge in U.S. Embassy Bombings
Former Guantanamo Bay detainee Ahmed Ghailani was found not guilty on all but one charge Wednesday by a civilian jury in New York, in a case with ramifications for President Obama’s policy toward Guantanamo and civilian trials for terror suspects.
Ghailani was acquitted in federal court on 224 murder charges in connection with the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. He was found guilty for only one charge, conspiracy to destroy government buildings.
Ghailani faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years and a possible life sentence. He will remain in custody and sentencing will take place at a future date.
Can we now remove the children from the Department of Justice? To say this is a travesty, is an understatement! I’m afraid even going to church this evening didn’t calm my anger.
The acquittal is seen as a major blow to the U.S. government, as Ghailani was the first former Gitmo detainee to be tried in a civilian courtroom.
This administration has slapped us in the face at every turn.
Defense attorneys claimed Ghailani is an innocent “dupe,” who had no idea he was assisting Al Qaeda operatives in their deadly plot.
The only dupes were the jury! Honestly, I have no words to describe what I’m actually thinking. And the anger is not abating.
Ann on The Irrational Airport Security
Napolitano: The Ball’s In My Court Now
by Ann Coulter
After the 9/11 attacks, when 19 Muslim terrorists — 15 from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates and one each from Egypt and Lebanon, 14 with “al” in their names — took over commercial aircraft with box-cutters, the government banned sharp objects from planes.
Airport security began confiscating little old ladies’ knitting needles and breaking the mouse-sized nail files off of passengers’ nail clippers. Surprisingly, no decrease in the number of hijacking attempts by little old ladies and manicurists was noted.
After another Muslim terrorist, Richard Reid, AKA Tariq Raja, AKA Abdel Rahim, AKA Abdul Raheem, AKA Abu Ibrahim, AKA Sammy Cohen (which was only his eHarmony alias), tried to blow up a commercial aircraft with explosive-laden sneakers, the government prohibited more than 3 ounces of liquid from being carried on airplanes.
Arrogance of the D.C. Mindset
Murkowski leads GOP pork addicts ‘going rogue’ in movement to flout earmark ban
Even as Senate Republicans approved a “moratorium” on congressional earmarks, a small but significant contingent of the caucus is openly vowing to flout the new rules.
Led by Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, the contingent is “going rogue” against the party’s leader in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, who Monday made a high-profile switch to back the earmark ban.
Obviously, Murkowski didn’t hear the voters of Alaska, and she’s sure not hearing the voters of the rest of the country. If the GOP had any sense at all, which I’m seriously questioning, they will shun Murkowski, and any other Republican who believes the taxpayers of Main Street, Anywhere, USA don’t mind paying for the park running path in Urban City. We spoke loud and clear that this sort of wasteful spending is what got the country on the wrong path, and WE, The People, who ARE the government are fed up!
“Ultimately, the ban will be enforced by the voters. If GOP senators want to violate the ban they do so at their own peril,” said John Hart, a spokesman for Sen. Tom Coburn from Oklahoma, one of the Senate’s fiercest earmark foes.
Didn’t we already vote to ban earmarks? Isn’t that what these elections were all about? Bad policies destroying the economy? Obviously, earmarks are just a small portion of what those fools up there are spending, but we have to start somewhere.
Hart said Coburn will seek a binding ban on earmarks on the Senate floor “at his earliest opportunity.” But Democrats, who will retain a majority in the Senate in the next Congress, appear likely to kill the measure.
Yep, the lying, cheating thief, Harry Reid will make sure they continue to waste our money. Did we expect anything else?
Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri is one of two Democrats who oppose earmarks, she said Tuesday.
“Counting the numbers, I would be surprised right now if we got more than two,” McCaskill said.
Her party’s leader in the Senate, Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, fiercely defended earmarks, calling a ban “a tremendous step backwards” that “just gives more power to the executive.”
And stepping back from the edge of the cliff is a bad thing? Runnin’ Reid apparently thinks so.
Murkowski, who appears to have warded off a tea party-backed challenger in a run-off campaign, is leading the charge.
Tuesday, she offered a novel defense of seeking earmarks for her state, saying that Alaska, a “young” state admitted into the Union in 1959, hasn’t been able to enjoy earmarks for as long as the other states.
“I hope to be able to figure out a path forward so that a young state like Alaska can maintain its [amount of] federal dollars as other states have had in helping build their infrastructure,” she said.
Sad this woman believes she’s entitled to do what she damn well pleases. Are those who did the write in so oblivious to her motives? This is one of the more ridiculous defenses of wasting taxpayer money I’ve heard in a while. Lady, and I use that term very loosely, if your state wants to build a bridge to nowhere, y’all can damn sure pay for it yourselves! So, when are you going to flip to the Democrat Party? Hmmmm???
Inhofe said his Republican colleagues won’t mind if he seeks earmarks, despite that the caucus just voted to ban them.
Asked if there would be repercussions for violating the ban, Inhofe said, “No, I don’t think so, I think they understand, these are all decent people. They may be wrong, but they’re decent.”
Mr Inhofe, your colleagues may all be decent folks, but your BOSSES are getting mighty tired of such an attitude. It’s OUR money! Now, keep your grubby paws off!
Redistributing Health Care
Who Should Control Your Health Care, You Or The Government?
The Foundry
After President Barack Obama installed Dr. Donald Berwick as head administrator of Medicare and Medicaid by recess appointment, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked at the daily press briefing if “it would have been politically troublesome in an election year to have all these comments aired out about rationing, redistribution that Dr. Berwick had talked about in the past.”
Gibbs was ready for this question, though, and shot back: “Did he say things like, ‘rationing happens today; the question is who will do it’? Did he say that?” The bait laid, the reporter responded: “That was one comment.” The trap sprung, Gibbs pounced: “Actually that was Paul Ryan. That was Paul Ryan. He’s a Republican in Congress.” The White House press corps roared with laughter.
Gibbs may have won that round, but today Berwick is scheduled to testify before the Senate Finance Committee, and conservatives will have their first chance to question the bureaucrat in charge of implementing Obamacare’s many changes to the Medicare system. Hopefully Berwick’s past statements will not dominate the hearings but instead serve as a jumping-off point to shine light on the vast new powers Obamacare granted the federal government.
For starters, in June 2009, Berwick told Biotechnology Healthcare: “The decision is not whether or not we will ration care—the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open. And right now, we are doing it blindly.” For comparison sake, here is the full version of the Gibbs-truncated Ryan quote from a 2009 interview with The Washington Post: “Rationing happens today! The question is who will do it? The government? Or you, your doctor and your family?”

Weasel Time
BREAKING!
Ethics committee finds Rangel guilty
A House ethics subcommittee found Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-New York, guilty Monday on multiple violations of House rules.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. He might have served his country well in the U.S. Military, but that does NOT excuse his continuous violations, and abuse of power!
Now, can we get the rest of the un-ethical types, Democrat AND Republican? And ALL should be removed from office! Personally, I’m real sick of them all!
Is This “Peaceful”?
Little “Hero”
Last week, I mentioned a young man, in a link (last one), whose feckless administrators of his school, treated him like a second class citizen, just for flying an AMERICAN flag on his bike, at an AMERICAN school, paid for by the AMERICAN taxpayers. The response was overwhelming in support for this young fella! Wisely, the school backed down!
Gubmint Gropers
The American department of groping
Surprise! Canadian travellers to the United States are now subject to having high school dropouts touch their breasts, penises and vaginas as part of “airline security.”
Sorry, do the words penis and vagina make you uncomfortable?
They certainly make the U.S. Transportation Security Administration uncomfortable.
The TSA can’t even bring themselves to use those words when describing their new “enhanced pat-down” procedure.
You will find them nowhere on their website, including their section on advice for travellers.
They have pages about how to pack your toothpaste.
But they don’t tell you that you will stand in line while a stranger touches you in places that, if done by anyone else, would lead to sexual assault charges.
Oh, by the way: Their touching of penises and vaginas isn’t limited to adults.
They grope children, too. In the past two weeks, the Internet has been flooded by videos taken by passengers on their cellphone cameras, filming their own screaming children being fondled by uniformed officials.
So what’s the new rule for parents to teach our children?
Don’t let strangers touch your privates—unless they say they’re allowed to?
Unless they are in a position of authority? Unless Barack Obama says it’s OK?
The last time we flew anywhere was to Jamaica last January, before they started the sexual assaults. Having a pace maker, I was advised not to go through the metal detectors. Going down, no problem. The TSA folks just waved me through….the metal detector. I didn’t set anything off, but I always show the card anyway. Coming back, however, was a completely different story. I got the pat down, which, needless to say, was a tad uncomfortable, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Although, truth be told, if I had to go through one more, I was going to demand dinner first!
Now, the whole process is much more invasive. You’re either seen stark naked by total strangers, or you are seriously groped by total strangers. Ever been sexually assaulted? The nightmares of such an act, the emotional toll it takes, lasts for years. Under normal circumstances, such people would be facing a judge and jury. We condemn pedophiles to life on a registry. But yet, we have a federal government who has now decided such assaults are ok, except maybe for those who object on ‘religious’ grounds. Well, I object on religious grounds too! My faith doesn’t allow for such contact with someone who is NOT my husband either! It’s called adultery!
What about the children? In the Muslim world, it’s ok to assault (and even murder) children. Here it is not! But that doesn’t stopped the government from doing it! Did they learn from the Qu’ran? I’d suggest we send some officials over to Israel, to learn from the BEST, how to conduct safety checks in the airports. While we’re at it, we should probably learn from them, how to secure our borders, as well. Having been through Israeli security, I can tell you, they are EXCELLENT at their job!
It’s not the blue eyed, blonde haired child with a teddy bear that is a threat to the safety and security to passengers on an airplane. While he/she might get on the nerves of fellow passengers, it’s quite doubtful that said child is a suicide bomber. No, it’s typically the Muslim male, somewhere in the age range of 18 to 45, who is out to murder in the name of allah and the murderous pedophile mohammed. So, why is a 3 year old child being groped? Well, so no one gets offended, that’s why! Well, we ARE offended!
Want to take a common sense approach? I think Daniel Pipes has a real good idea:
We could end 99 percent of the threat of terror by shutting down every mosque and deporting every first and second generation Muslim immigrant from this country. And every convert.
But as he also says, “that would be un-American”. Might as well ask the sun not to rise in the east as to expect any common sense from the federal government. It’s also un-American to violate the U.S. Constitution, but that doesn’t stop them, does it.
4th Amendment – The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
I don’t see anyone presenting warrants at the airport! While the ACLU is quick to jump on anyone who violates the rights of pedophiles and actual terrorists, they sure seem slow on this one.
I can assure you, we won’t be doing any flying any time soon. If we really want to take a vacation, we’ll be driving, or taking a cruise, but, thanks to Obama and the Dems policies, we can’t afford to do much of anything.

Do Democrats Hate Child Entrepreneurs?
New Castle councilman calls cops on boys’ cupcake sale
When Andrew DeMarchis and Kevin Graff, two 13-year-olds from Chappaqua’s Seven Bridges Middle School, set up shop at Gedney Park on a fall weekend last month, they were expecting a tidy profit.
Instead, the two wannabe entrepreneurs selling cupcakes, cookies, brownies and Rice Krispie treats baked by them for $1 apiece got a taste of cold, hard bureaucracy .
New Castle Councilman Michael Wolfensohn came upon the sale and called the cops on the kids for operating without a license.
The boys’ parents are incensed and can’t believe a Town Board member would handle the situation that way.
Why does THIS not surprise me?
Instead of being a total dipwad, the man could have just told the kids that, without a permit, they’d have to find another place other than a PUBLIC park to earn some money for their future.
The “Media” Lies….
….and the left laps it up!
Does anyone actually watch Olberdouche? I mean, for actual information, rather than just entertainment? Oh, I suppose the Kos Kids must make up 3 of his 4 viewers, but then, they appear to be just as loony as he does.
