Christmas Dinner
Normally, at this time of year, we are in Texas, prepping for Christmas with Ick, Brat, and Short Person. This year…. sigh… So, what are we going to do? There are only two of us, if ya don’t count the kittehs. Why make a HUGE dinner that we’d be eating till NEXT Christmas? My bright idea? Heh…..
Hey….why not? Ya got your turkey, some veggies, and bread, all in one! Less muss and fuss! 
Ok, so there’s no dressing or cranberry sauce. So sue me! 
But naturally, there has to be pie! It’s a rule! So, why not one of each!
Unfortunately, I get sick of turkey a lot faster than I get fed up with pies. sigh…

You lose your job, you do NOT get to shove your agenda down our throats! Can you imagine your boss coming in to give you the bad news, and you turning around and doing 10 times as much work while you are packing up to leave? Excuse me….but I don’t bloody well think so! I’m really praying the 112th will work doubly hard to get some of this crap they’ve foisted on us nullified!

Last weekend NPR legal correspondent Nina Totenberg inadvertently created a mini-controversy when she said on Inside Washington: “I was at — forgive the expression – a Christmas party at the Department of Justice.” Some thought that Totenberg added “forgive the expression” as a cave to political correctness. But in fact Totenberg was actually mocking the Obama Justice Department. It was the DOJ that had officially called the event Totenberg attended a “holiday party” and Totenberg later told The Washington Post: “I think that’s kind of silly because it’s obviously a Christmas party. I was tweaking the Department of Justice. It was a touch of irony at the expense of the Justice Department, not at the expense of Christmas.”

It’s the Christmas season, so godless liberals are citing the Bible to demand the redistribution of income by government force. Didn’t Jesus say, “Blessed are the Health and Human Services bureaucrats, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”?
Liberals are always indignantly accusing conservatives of claiming God is on our side. What we actually say is: We’re on God’s side, particularly when liberals are demanding God’s banishment from the public schools, abortion on demand, and taxpayer money being spent on Jesus submerged in a jar of urine and pictures of the Virgin Mary covered with pornographic photos.
But for liberals like Al Franken, it’s beyond dispute that Jesus would support extending federal unemployment insurance.

I was down there yesterday, and was so impressed with the set up, I just might have to go have my picture taken with Santa too! Naw….don’t wanna squish the poor guy! 
And while you are there, make sure you go into the Gift Shoppe! A great place for any last minute items. Many so unique, the Mr should be happy I didn’t load up my truck with a ton of ‘em! But that cat just HAD to come home with me. Go early, and have lunch! Chef Luke is one of a kind! A culinary delight!

Letter To TN Senators
Dear Senators Alexander and Corker:
This is to notify you that your ‘services’ are no longer needed, and we will be terminating your contract at the first possible opportunity. While we were aware that you, Senator Alexander were nothing more than a Republican In Name Only, with a SLIGHT conservative bent, we did have high hopes for you, Senator Corker. Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed that neither of you have taken into account the wishes of the voters of the State of Tennessee of a variety of extremely important issues.
While a large number of voters may not be paying attention, there are many of us who do. We are aware of the actions of our elected officials, and will be dealing with those who put politics and careers first, and the citizens last. We write, call and email on a regular basis. The response from both of your offices have become a running joke among many of us, form letters than never address the issues.
Therefore, in the coming years, we will work very hard, to put in place, elected officials that actually do reflect the values and will of WE, The People, at all levels. The safety and well being of our families are of great importance to us, and we feel that the neglect of your oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States have put them in peril.
We do appreciate your time, however, we feel it has come to an end.

Unemployed get another jobless benefit _ free yoga
With national unemployment just below 10 percent, $20 yoga classes don’t qualify as necessities for many out-of-work people who’ve pruned luxuries from their budgets. So in a gesture that’s part send-good-vibes-to-the-universe and part community outreach, a handful of yoga studios have decided to cut the unemployed a break.
If a private company wants to give such things to the unemployed, then, hey…it’s their time and money, and are free to do so. However……
“We didn’t want them to have to choose, ‘Should I eat today or go take this class?’ We wanted to give them the ability to do both,” said Zack Lynn, a computer techie by day who teaches a free yoga class for people out of work in Columbus.
Seriously? Is this even an issue? Well, for some people it might be. We know there are people who are out of work, or on welfare, who have fancy new cell phones, new cars, big screen TVs and the like. I’m seriously wondering just what these people priorities are! A choice between food and yoga? Seriously? Then again, I’m always shocked that some people would rather have that new tech gadget than put shoes on their kids’ feet. Yep! We’ve surely become a nation of screwed up priorities!

Imagine a future where the Internet is governed by unelected bureaucrats in Washington, DC, who rule at their own whim, regardless of legislators’ demands or judicial rule. Sadly, that future is now. Today, the Federal Communications Commission is poised to make an unprecedented power grab and assert the authority to regulate the Internet, despite opposition from Congress and a contrary federal court ruling. And while it’s a story that has gone largely unnoticed amid Congress’ big-ticket lame duck decisions, it’s a tale of unchecked government expansion that must be told.
Meet FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, a political appointee and Harvard Law classmate of President Barack Obama. Genachowski is leading the FCC’s charge for new powers over the Internet so it can enact a policy known as “net neutrality,” which would allow the commission to regulate how Internet providers like Comcast or Verizon offer their services. If you’re someone who is suspicious of big corporations, that sounds like a great idea. If you’re someone who is fearful of big government, take heed. In reality, the policy will limit consumer choice while granting the federal government unprecedented power over the Internet. As Heritage’s James Gattuso describes:

The hypocrisy of the left truly knows NO bounds! Where was NOW when the women who Bill Clinton, former horn dog in chief, raped, stepped forward? Condemning the women, instead of Clinton, that’s where! Yet now, with an even bigger slime ball, they are all outraged by what sounds to me like total BS charges. Having been a victim, I have NO sympathy for rapists, and believe castration with a dull, rusty butter knife should be just a start when it comes to punishment. But these so called women…..they just make women look bad.
It should be noted this is the same bunch of broads that have their knickers in a twist over Hooters. What do they care about children? They promote promiscuity and baby murder, fer the love of pete! If you take a child to the beach, almost anywhere, those kids are going to see a LOT more skin that what the Hooters’ girls show. Seriously!
Ladies, and I use that term VERY loosely, you just can’t have it both ways!
