An Ol' Broad's Ramblings

Well, here’s a real good reason to tell the former Speaker of the House to sit down, and shut up! Ya don’t destroy your food by burning it in your vehicle!
I’m not sure why so many didn’t see these evils with their fingerprints all over the uprising. It seemed fairly clear to me. And I’ve never trusted, nor particularly liked, El Baradei. But of course, the left is all over sucking up to them, whitewashing reality. They tend to do that a lot.
Or, they sit by idly, spinning on their thumbs, while the situation continues to deteriorate. Some folks might want to look past the Middle East, and pay attention to other regions in the world, too.
I rather like the idea of students getting involved in issues that directly affect them, instead of leaving it all to the politicians. Not that anyone actually gives a flip what they want, or need, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.
You know, we still manufacture weapons and ammo in this country. Wouldn’t these items solve the problem a lot easier, and cheaper, that depending on some drug?
If it’s not all about him, apparently, Obama really doesn’t give a flip about anything, “Nero fiddling while Rome burns” always comes to mind.
With all this ‘global warming‘ going on, perhaps we should all get out our sun screen? Hope Cowboy Stadium has a good heating system!
It’s really not wise to run as a New England version of ‘conservative’ (which, in reality, doesn’t really exist), express conservative views, and then betray those who helped get you into office. Of course, I’ve frequently questioned if there actually are any slightly conservative types in that region of the country. How did they produce such as John Adams, etc., and end up being the arrogant elitists of the East Coast? Just curious.
This isn’t surprising, considering every Exxon station I’ve seen around here is typically 5 to 8 cents higher than any other gas station, including the other big names. Not sure why people keep buying from them, when they can actually save money elsewhere. ![]()
