The Left’s “Wet Dreams”
Jared Loughner Was a Tea Partier (and I’m an Atheist River Dancer Who Hates Hunting)
by Doug Giles
Don’t you love how the Left takes a warped twentysomething …
- Who went to a high school with curriculum crafted by Bill Ayers,
- Whose favorite tomes include The Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf,
- Whose classmates describe him as a left-wing, weed-wafting, atheistic Beavis,
- Who had a human skull altar erected in his backyard,
- Whose hero list (according to Facebook) includes Barack Obama,
… and somehow, they magically wiggle their nose, tug their ear, and stomp their feet and poof, abracadabra, this punk instantly morphs into Newt Gingrich?
I have three words for such an amazing feat of mental gymnastics the Left is able to perform upon their own noggin and the accompanying boldness they have to trot out such balderdash to the masses that uniformly think such conclusions are crap-based. Those three words are: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.
Read the whole column here!
It makes me wonder…. Do the lefties have to work hard to be this blatantly ignorant, or are they just born that way? Perhaps they are just plain evil. It’s pretty bad, when even people on the other side of the pond is able to recognize them for shameful weasels they are.
A Chin Dropper
They CANNOT be serious!
Death and taxes may be a certainty, but this is outrageous.
The family of a tragic Washington-state newborn who lived for only an hour got a “death tax” bill.
King County forced the family to pay a $50 tax for a post-mortem review, even though doctors had already declared the girl had been born without working lungs.
No words! If the child had lived 2 hours, would they have doubled the tax?

Wouldn’t it be amazing if WE had at least 90% of the voting population to get out and actually VOTE?
“Outsiders” is a pretty good idea, but most of ‘em are still politicians. I’d suggest a regular ol’ citizen advisory board too, volunteers, of course (i.e. no pay…well, maybe travel expenses, but that’s it). Nothing worse than a new guy coming into office, surrounded by politicians, who are largely disconnected from those they intend to govern. Just a thought.
I’m sorry, but after 2 years of blathering, are we really expect to buy into his ‘play nice’ rhetoric? Where was this tone when he and his congressional cronies were locking the opposition out of meetings? Where was it when all the lies and distortions were flying around, many from his own mouth, about Tea Party members? Where was the play nice attitude then? No where! So, do NOT expect those on the right to just fall all over themselves for ya!
If the Russians have NO problem drilling in a frozen waste land, why is there a problem with doing the same thing here? We’re going to be ‘owned’ by every petty tin pot dictator all because we have too many jackwipe control freaks running the show! We have plenty of energy resources, why not make use of them while searching for a viable alternative…..one that doesn’t break the country, and doesn’t take food out of the mouths of our children!
Failing to recognize just how dangerous Iran is to the rest of the world is going to have some people scratching their pointy little heads, wondering…. “Wha’ happened?”
Our soldiers did their job! They got rid of a murderous dictator! But they are now being murdered by the very ones they are trying to assist and train? Screw them all! May they blow themselves up, slaughter their own, and burn in hell!
This focus on color is getting more than just a little ridiculous. How about focusing on education so that when it comes time for a governor, or whoever, to choose cabinets, there will be plenty of people of many different backgrounds able to serve in that capacity. Quality, not quantity!
Why don’t they just call it what it is? Legalized infanticide!

Maine Gov. Paul LePage on NAACP: “Tell ‘em to kiss my butt.”
While attending a meeting for business leaders in Sanford, Governor Paul LePage spoke out about why he would not attend Martin Luther King ceremonies on the upcoming holiday.
LePage has declined invitations from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). The organization has already expressed its displeasure with the governor’s plans to not attend the events.
“They are a special interest. End of story…and I’m not going to be held hostage by special interests. And if they want, they can look at my family picture. My son happens to be black, so they can do whatever they’d like about it,” said LePage.
It’s about flippin’ time someone spoke out against this race baiting bunch!

Homeless woman asked to leave Memphis hospital kills herself
A woman who remained in a hospital waiting room for more than 16 hours after being released apparently shot and killed herself in a restroom after Memphis police spoke to her about going to a shelter, police said.
Read the rest here.
I don’t fault the hospital for insisting she leave. They don’t have room for people to sit in their emergency room for so long. I don’t fault the police. They were doing their job, and why would they search the woman? Unless they had just cause, which, apparently, they didn’t. I can’t even blame the woman. Perhaps her fear was dying a slow death out in the freezing cold, or being attacked at the shelter? This has been known to happen frequently, even though it’s not front page news.
No, I think who I fault most, is……us. We are to blame. We spend billions upon billions to support those who are able bodied, but won’t work, and ignore those who are really in need. And billions more to prop up the benefits of those who could quite easily save for their own future. The economic situation now is such that it’s becoming more difficult to give to the charities that actually DO aid those who are truly in need.
I find it difficult to actually put into words the sorrow over another life lost, needlessly.

Meddling Governments
Williamson lawmaker plots against Nashville’s anti-gay bias bill
Did The Tennessean actually use the word “plots”? Gosh, do ya think they are more than a tad bit biased?
A Williamson County state lawmaker said Wednesday that he would introduce legislation to prevent Metro government and other cities in Tennessee from extending protections to gay, lesbian and transgendered employees of city contractors.
The problem with the kind of laws that both Nashville, and Memphis, are trying to enact….they can be abused. And are, quite frequently!
Rep. Glen Casada, R-College Grove, said the bill, which he hopes to file next week, would keep local governments across the state from adopting “a patchwork” of policies toward businesses.
It is not the job of the government to tell businesses who they can, and cannot, hire. Nor should it be. There are laws already in place to prevent discrimination, and honestly, I see such laws actually increasing bigotry, due to interference of the government. You can’t legislate hearts.
Casada and a few dozen other conservatives met privately Wednesday to plot strategy against a bill the Metro Council will start considering next week. The Metro bill would require Metro contractors to sign an affidavit saying they won’t discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. They already make that pledge with regard to age, race, sex, color, national origin and disability.
There they go again! “Plot”. It’s not a conspiracy y’know. Shouldn’t The Tennessean just report the news, and not insert personal bias into the report? I know….I’m living in fantasy land. There is no such thing as straight reporting anymore. No more “who, what, when, where, why”. Sad! Expecting companies to sign such a pledge is tantamount to demanding a loyalty oath to a politician’s agenda.
Sponsors introduced the bill after a lesbian soccer coach left Belmont University — which has a contract with the city — under murky circumstances. Soccer players said she was forced out after revealing her partner was pregnant.
Said sponsors forget one very important detail. Belmont is classified as a PRIVATE Christian university. The constant intrusion of governments into private enterprises is one of the major reasons that things have gotten so out of hand. Not to mention, we’ve actually allowed this to continue.
“The proposed legislation doesn’t require private companies to adopt new policies,” Councilman Mike Jameson, a co-sponsor, said in an e-mail. “It won’t interfere with private individuals’ unfettered right to discriminate or even to hate.
“But in those limited instances where a company wants to enter into a contract with the city and to make money from the city, the legislation simply asks that they comply with policies the city adopted a year and a half ago.”
Yes, it actually does interfere. I suppose the city of Nashville would rather do business with a less than reputable, or competent, company (that may charge a great deal more) that is willing to comply with their intrusion, than do business with a company that is more qualified, and will do a better job for a better price, at whatever it is the city needs, for refusing to sign such a pledge. It doesn’t mean the better company discriminates, just that they don’t feel the need to sign a piece of paper that, in the long run, means absolutely nothing.
“If people want access to Metro tax dollars, they’ll find ways to be competitive,” Sanders said.
Being reliable, honorable, and cost effective doesn’t come into play? I don’t believe anyone should be discriminated against, and that would include Christian companies that follow the teachings of the Bible. Such a bill would do just that! But it’s not surprising that city governments are jumping on the anti-Christian band wagon.
If a company, or a person, is qualified to do a job, then color, religion, or sexual preference should never come into play! It is not the job of government to dictate to others how to think, or run their private business.
An Embarrassing Display
Prez perfect – but the crowd was appalling
If there is one thing we expect from occasions of national mourning, it is, at the very least, a modicum of gravity. That gravity was present in the president’s speech from first to last — especially in the pitch-perfect response to the disgusting national political debate over the past couple of days.
You can read the POTUS’ speech here, which is fairly decent, actually. Notice they insert the word applause at least 51 times. I might have lost count, but that’s pretty close to the number. If what I saw in my brief moments of watching is any indication, it was not just applause. It was rousing cheers, standing ovations, and the like. Nothing you’d expect to see or hear at a memorial service.
But the president’s stunning speech was marred by the feeling of the evening that surrounded it and the appalling behavior of the crowd in Tucson listening to it.
It was as though no one in the arena but the immediate mourners and sufferers had the least notion of displaying respectful solemnity in the face of breathtaking loss and terrifying evil.
I can’t fault the President for the behavior of the crowd. I don’t think he intentionally speaks to such ill behaved children, although, they are his base, and from all indications, will continue to lap up his every word, like it’s from The Almighty Himself. No, I fault the parents of those students, who didn’t teach their children any manners. Who failed to school their children in appropriate behavior when attending such an event. I fault the education system that has allowed kids to act like heathens in the classroom with no credible punishment for such behavior. I blame the university for not expecting respectful behavior from their students when mourning the loss of 6 innocents.
I Tuned In….
….then, I tuned out! I had wanted to watch what was billed as a ‘memorial service’ for those who lost their lives last Saturday. I wanted to share my pain and anger with the rest of the nation at a very trying time. Within 5 minutes, I realize, this will have little to nothing to do with memorializing the victims of a madman. No, what little I could stomach consisted of several minutes of a standing ovation for Barack Obama, and a ‘my family has been here longer than yours’ speech from some guy with a feather.
My first thought….I’m not going to be able to watch this. My second thought……”What the hell is she wearing? Who dresses that woman, fer pete’s sake!”
So, I changed the channel, and watched a rerun of Without A Trace. I did, however, change it back when that episode was over, only to hear Obama, within the space of a few seconds, say the words I and me about 4 times. Now, since I didn’t watch any more than that, I can’t say whether it was a rousing, connecting speech or not. Did he say the right things to comfort the country. I guess I’ll have to find out elsewhere. What I do know is that this was suppose to be about the victims. What little I saw, it was an Obama rally. Someone tell me he is not THAT narcissistic and that they really didn’t pass out t-shirts to the crowd! Please?

Liberal Seek Ban on Metaphors In Wake of Arizona Shooting
by Ann Coulter
After the monstrous shooting in Arizona last week, surely we can all agree that we’ve got to pass Obama’s agenda immediately and stop using metaphors.
At least I think that’s what the mainstream media are trying to tell me.
Liberals instantly leapt on the sickening massacre at a Tucson political event over the weekend to accuse tea partiers, Sarah Palin and all conservatives who talk out loud of being complicit in murder by inspiring the shooter, Jared Loughner.
Of course, to make their case, they first must demonstrate:
