Repeal Doesn’t Increase the Deficit

When now-House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D–CA) was sworn in as Speaker on January 4, 2007, the national debt stood at $8.67 trillion. By the time Pelosi surrendered the gavel to Speaker John Boehner (R–OH) yesterday, the national debt stood at $14.01 trillion. At $5.34 trillion, that means Speaker Pelosi added more than $1 trillion in debt per year during her tenure as Speaker. And yet she has the audacity to tell reporters Tuesday: “Deficit reduction has been a high priority for us. It is our mantra, pay-as-you-go.”
Only someone so out of touch with reality that they could claim that “deficit reduction” has been their “highest priority” while simultaneously adding more than $1 trillion a year to the debt could possibly claim that repealing Obamacare would add to the debt. But that is exactly what Pelosi wants us to believe. Also on Tuesday she claimed that repealing Obamacare would do “very serious violence to the national debt and deficit.” Nothing could be further from the truth.
A Thought Or Two On The Hand Off
Yesterday, I sat and watching the doings in the House. I had other things that needed to be dealt with, but instead of getting to my real life, I sat and waited for the swearing in. Why? Well, because after the last 4 years of Democrat control and ruination, I guess I needed to make sure it was going to actually happen!
While watching, I realized something. Dang! “This is boring!” Calling the roll, blathering on, looking at the expression on the face of the Clerk, which, IMHO, was rather sour. 
When they finally got to the big show, instead of Nancy Pelosi handing over the gavel with class and grace, she pretty much did the expected. Yammered on, and on, and on….and ON! It was all about her! Well, guess what Nanny! It is NOT all about you! You did nothing to crow about…..well, unless of course, you’re a freakin’ socialist! You lost woman! Couldn’t you show some class? Hoping against hope that was possible! But no. She’s a socialist Democrat, and class is not part of their DNA. Now, I don’t wish harm to anyone, but seriously, I was actually kind of hoping Speaker Boehner would kind of accidentally slip, and clock her in the head with that great big ol’ gavel! sigh…
Now, looking at this map of the U.S., from the New York Times, this morning……
I started thinking….perhaps the Nanny really isn’t aware that she sustained big losses? Not sure how she could NOT be aware, but then, I’m really starting to believe that woman is one taco short of a combo plate!

Forget “stimulus” bills and “shovel-ready” bailouts (for public school teachers, who need shovels for what they’re teaching), the current financial crisis, which is the second Great Depression, was created slowly and methodically by Democrat hacks running Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac over the past 18 years.
As even Obama’s treasury secretary admitted in congressional hearings, “Fannie and Freddie were a core part of what went wrong in our system.” And if it’s something Tim Geithner noticed, it’s probably something that’s fairly obvious.
10 Simple Rules for the GOP

Shocker! Secretary Nap Hasn’t Got a Clue!
Napolitano: Israeli-Style Security Won’t Work for U.S.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on Tuesday rebuffed suggestions that U.S. airports should adopt the practices of airports in Israel, calling the Israeli air travel system “a very different model.”
Yeah…different. Their systems is a heck of a lot better!
“We share a common goal, which is to protect the people of our countries from terror or other attacks,” Napolitano told Fox News ahead of a tour of security facilities at Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion International Airport. But there are many differences in the United States system versus Israel. Part of that is driven by sheer size.”
I’ve been through security at U.S. airports, in a variety of cities. Lucky for me, I have not been through any with the ‘enhanced’ BS. And I won’t either! I’ve also been through Israeli security, both in the airports and on their borders. If anybody knows how to do security, it’s the Israelis! They are efficient, professional, and actually, quite friendly. I can NOT say the same for a great many of those who are running the show at our airports. Some are, yes, but a great many I found quite rude, appeared ill trained, and to have power issues.
Critics of U.S. security methods, particularly full body scans and the so-called “invasive pat down” used by the Transportation Security Administration, have called for American airports to adopt Israeli-style security measures, which rely heavily on behavioral profiling of travelers.
But Napolitano said that what is effective in Israel, a nation of 7.3 million, wouldn’t necessarily work for 310 million Americans.
So? You adapt. Heaven forbid if you offend a potential terrorist! But, it’s ok to violate the 4th Amendment, eh, Janet? If you hadn’t noticed, it’s not granny or a 12 year old, that is going to blow up a plane. Profiling has worked pretty well for the Israelis. I know, I got profiled. 
And ya know what? It did not bother me one little bit! But then, I’m not a raving lunatic, hell bent on murdering anyone for my religion.
Ben-Gurion is Israel’s only major international airport. The United States, however, has 450 such facilities. Plus, about 11 million people pass through Israeli airports each year, while 70 times that many passengers go through American airports each year.
And? You increase the security personal and check points according to the number of people who pass through each airport. It really isn’t that complicated. Not to mention, you need to actually TRAIN these people! And more than just a couple of hours!
“So there’s a very big difference in terms of size and scale,” said Napolitano, who granted Fox News exclusive access to join her on a week-long, security-focused trip to Europe and the Middle East.
Oh yeah…there’s a HUGE difference. It’s the difference between professional competence, and inefficient weasels….kind of like YOU Nappy! THEY would be the professionals, in case you had any doubts.

So, possibly the worst spokesman for the worst POTUS, is going bye bye! The only question I have….what took so long?? Honestly, I didn’t think Robert Gibbs would last more than a few months, yet, nearly two years later, he was still umming and uh’ing his way through what they laughingly call press conferences. Now, I can’t blame all his incompetence on him. He did, after all, work for the king of incompetence….

A Request
From one of the few sane people left in the state of Kalifornia, American and Proud, a request:
Right NOW. I need everyone, regardless of where you live to send a message to the Texas Governor Rick Perry. Let him know you would like Ted Nugent appointed to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Directors post.
I can’t think of a better person in the world for that job and since Texas is in AMERICA we need Good conservative leadership in all posts, but this one in particular. If you are a hunter, a trapper, a fisherman, or an outdoors lover this post should be very important to you.
Ted Nugent will do ALL Texans proud in this spot. And by extension, show the rest of the nation what TRUE leadership looks like.
Please do us all a favor and ask Rick Perry to make this appointment.

All that is being asked is that you sign the petition, or contact Governor Perry, and let him know…. who better to be appointed as Texas Parks and Wildlife Director than someone who is very involved in REAL conservation? That someone would be Ted Nugent! 
I may live in Tennessee now, but as a 100% bona fide Native Texan, I think it’s a great idea.

Well, THIS TEA Partier does NOT agree! Social Security should be phased out, over time, and no more entitlement programs should ever be implemented, no matter how ‘feel good’ they are! And an FYI, to the author….we’re a Republic, NOT a democracy. Why can’t people ever get it right?

If cable keeps raising their rates, for crappy service, then perhaps they should go by the way of the dinosaur. Back when we had no choice but to have cable, we never got the channels we wanted, and had a whole lot of lousy channels we didn’t want.
How did we ever survive as a species without the gubmint invading every aspect of our lives?

Keep doing that, and ya might effect some serious change. Honestly, I am at the point that Congressional members shouldn’t get a salary at all! This was never meant to be a full time job! Ok, if your net worth is in the millions, you really don’t need that inflated salary, do you? How about SERVING? Just a thought.

New York City’s Department of Investigation (DOI) announced Friday that it is looking into reports that some Sanitation Department supervisors told workers to slow their snow removal efforts as a protest against budget cuts. DOI spokeswoman Diane Struzzi told Businessweek: “What we are looking at is whether there was intentional misconduct relating to the snow removal, whether or not there was a slowdown.”

It Is What It Is…..OBAMACARE!
Rep. Cohen: Don’t Call it “ObamaCare”
Returning Congressman Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., told Fox News on Sunday “there’s gonna have to be” bipartisanship in the 112th Congress.
Why? Why does there have to be ‘bipartisanship in the 112th’? There sure wasn’t any in the 111th! Closed doors and shut out by the Democrats. Is THAT the kind of bipartisanship he’s talking about?
But that doesn’t mean it will be easy. Cohen says while he has “many great Republican friends,” he’s aware of the “sloganeering” used by those across the aisle.
“The other party refers to the new healthcare plan as ‘ObamaCare,’” said Cohen. “It’s not ObamaCare. It’s the United States healthcare plan.”
No, it is NOT the “United States healthcare plan”! It’s ObamaCare, plain and simple. Or, perhaps, we should call it the “Shoved down the throats of Americans by the Democraps, tax the country out of existence, run doctors out of business, don’t give a damn about anyone, Care”? Naw…way too long. ObamaCare….simpler. Considering a LARGE majority of the citizens TOLD you we did NOT want your government take over of our health care system, why should we give a happy crap what you have to say? Didn’t y’all do enough damage when Kennedy’s HMO nonsense was pushed through? The down fall of the insurance and health care systems began with the Democrats, and now they have made sure they will destroy them, once and for all.
Despite the rhetoric, Cohen says he is looking forward to working with incoming House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio.
“The Republicans have the majority now and they need to make it work,” Cohen told Fox News. “Speaker Boehner will reach out to some Democrats to get help to pass things that maybe some of the new Republicans won’t vote for, but make the country work.”
Ballsy dude, isn’t it! No, Steve, we don’t want y’all to do anymore damage than you’ve already done, thankuverymuch! How about you listen to WE, The People for a change, and we said NO! NO MORE! It’s time to do some serious reversals! Starting with…….OBAMACARE! I’d rather see this Congress do absolutely NOTHING, than to watch them spend us even further into oblivion! Defense and roads. That’s their job. Regulating our lives is NOT!
And maybe they could start work on repealing the 16th and 17th Amendments? Just a thought.
