Why do we allow these people into the country? Has everyone gone completely brain dead?
Gee, y’think? Perhaps if those supposed leaders in D.C. would remove their heads from D’Bama’s hinder, someone would figure out we have a LOT of oil right here in the good ol’ U.S. of A., and DRILLING for it….NOW….would make things go a might smoother in our economic future. But no, there are way too many who actually believe giving OUR money to terrorist nations is a good thing. Asshats!
There are some bad apples in police departments, but it looks like this city council person is painting them ALL as bad apples. The majority of cops are honorable, and have to deal with the dregs of the earth on a daily basis. Knowing your rights is one thing, but advising people to NOT talk to the police….is that part of that “No Snitching” BS? What’cha wanna bet she’s a Democrat.
Big shocker, eh? Let’s face it…the man isn’t a Muslim, and he sure isn’t a Christian. Neither supports ‘gay marriage’. He’s a waffler. People worship some of the strangest things. I wonder if he has an alter to the Waffle?
Is this proof that D’Bama doesn’t give a damn about your children? 
Apparently, he keeps coming down on the wrong side of EVERYTHING. *shakes head*

Civil unions? Well, that’s another kettle of fish, but don’t call it ‘marriage’.

Isn’t there another hospital in the U.S. that would be more than happy to give this family some peace of mind? All they want to do is have their child die at home, with them, instead of surrounded by strangers. I don’t think that’s asking too much! And that Detroit hospital should be ashamed!
Has everyone lost their fuzzy little minds? One group of people don’t deserve more rights than any other group of people. This is getting WAY out of hand!
At least the Russians know where the terrorism originates. Isn’t it a shame that D’Bama can’t figure it out as well?
Please tell me the Aussies aren’t buying into the biggest scam to ever hit the planet!
A flat tax would work so much better! Those yahoos that keep changing the tax codes don’t have a freakin’ clue what they are doing!
Yes, I Am Alive…..
….but barely! So, I’ve been playing catch up this morning, while I still have the energy.
I have figured it out! Since I hadn’t had even the slightest cold all winter, this is the BIG one….all of the colds I would have had, all rolled into one! Yep. That’s gotta be it! Odd, neither Chris nor Ick thought it was amusing when I told ‘em I was planning my funeral. Hmmm… Some folks just have no sense of humor. 
While, I’ll admit I haven’t been keeping a close eye on the doings of the world, I have been keeping an eye half cocked in that direction. Criminy! Get sick for a few days, and things still suck out in the real world, but even more so! Jeeeez! I have come to the conclusion, the world has seriously gone mad! Unfortunately for us, we have some of the most insane living right here within our borders. Who let those people in? sigh….

The good news out of Wisconsin is that public school students’ test scores skyrocketed last week, mystifying educators. The bad news is many student-teacher love affairs were hard-hit without access to janitors’ closets and locker rooms.
Democrats are acting as if Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s demand that public sector employees give up collective bargaining would have George Washington rolling in his grave (a clear violation of Gravediggers’ Local 803 regulations concerning the rolling of the dead).
In fact, government employees should never, ever be allowed to organize.

UGH!
Word to the wise! Never, EVER, brag to your spouse about how you have avoided any serious cold, or flu, or bug in general. EVER! Why? Because the very next day, be assured, you WILL get hit by some nasty critter that settles in your head, or chest, or….just generally makes your life a living hell. I speak from experience. Now, while I’ve had other ailments over the winter, none were related to head, nose, or chest. The hacking, wheezing and such had passed me by, and I was SO proud.
Sunday evening, after making such a statement to the Mr, before heading off to church….I started a wee bit of coughing. Uncomfortable, and infrequent, but nothing major. 36 hours later………………….somebody just shoot me! sigh…
Therefore, I am going to take my mommy’s advice: STAY IN BED! Drink lots of fluids! Which honestly, doesn’t really keep you in bed all that much, does it. And take assburn!
Now, all I have to do is either set up the baby dvd player or drag the laptop into the bedroom, grab a stack of dvd’s, and play corpse.

“I’ve said all along the protesters have every right to be there, but I’m not going to let tens of thousands overload or overshadow the millions of people in Wisconsin, the taxpayers of the state, who want us to do the right thing and balance the budget,” Gov. I get the impression that GOPers have a bit more faith, and hope, in Reince than they did with the previous head. Just an impression. Still haven’t coughed up any bucks in support cuz we’re at that ‘wait and see’ mode’.
I’m sorry, but I don’t want a junkie nurse taking care of the Mr, or anyone else in my family….or ANYONE at all, period! If they get help, and are clean for a certain period of time, fine….let them work. But until then…. Oh HELL no!
I still think it was a good idea to drop those bombs to end that war. If we hadn’t, what would these experiments have yielded and how many more would have died?
Don’t tell me….this will be Bush’s fault, too! Or Scott Walker’s?
It shouldn’t be just the ‘hopefuls’ supporting Walker’s bill. Every single THINKING person should be out in support of this move. The state is broke. The country is broke. And much of that can be laid directly in the lap of the feckless unions. It’s long past time to tell the selfish children NO!
Well, it’s about bloomin’ time!! Hopefully, other states will follow Texas’ lead, instead of the clucker types out in la la land!
Until groups like this stop focusing on color, there will be no equality, for anyone.
I just really hate it when so called Republicans show their true colors as RINOs. Grow a backbone dude, and retrieve your balls from the back pocket of the unions.
Chuckie needs to remove his head from his hinder! Social Security is unsustainable, in it’s current form. Phase it out! It was NEVER meant to be a retirement fund, but a supplement….IF needed.
Why? To what purpose is a “National Institute on Public Discourse” when there are nothing by lies upon lies upon lies being spread? I, for one, wouldn’t mind civility, but I think we are past the point of no return on that. And, just who is paying for this phony institute?
When they say ‘world’, they mean mostly the U.S. We all know that their fellow Arab countries aren’t exactly generous to those in need in their own countries.
Sometimes, it rather interesting to see what other countries are doing to attempt to fix similar problems to ours. Looks like there might be some new leadership coming soon in Ireland. Looks like conservative ideas are really growing.
Let’s face it, we think he sucks. We’re right. He does.
So much for all that ‘freedom’ our military brought to Iraq.
Seems to me, if you tax a person for doing a particular job, wouldn’t you have fewer people actually doing such a job? Doesn’t seem terribly logical.
We have ships in the area, right? A couple of well placed torpedoes would definitely solve this particular problem, wouldn’t it?
Aren’t teachers suppose to be reasonably intelligent? Evidently, it’s not a requirement anymore. The big difference….giving businesses a tax incentive, brings in businesses, which in turn, provides jobs, which in turn, brings in more tax dollars. What do the teachers contribute to the coffers with their Cadillac health care, and “free” pension plans? Instead of whining, as they are wont to do, they should be praising Walker’s plan to actually bring in more money to the state, which pays their freakin’ salaries!
I wouldn’t swear to it, but I don’t think bombing your own citizens is a real good way to calm ANYONE down.
