Liberals: They Blinded Us With Science

In response to my column last week about hormesis — the theory that some radiation can be beneficial to humans — liberals reacted with their usual open-minded examination of the facts.
According to Noel Sheppard at Newsbusters, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz devoted an entire segment to denouncing me. He called me toxic, accused me of spreading misinformation and said I didn’t care about science.
One thing Schultz did not do, however, was cite a single physicist or scientific study.

TN legislators strip ‘Shariah’ from anti-terror bill
The sponsors of a bill in the Tennessee legislature aimed at organizations that practice Shariah law are rewriting the measure to remove all references to religion.
99.9% of all ‘terrorists’ are Muslim. Excuse me, but stripping out “religion” from the bill isn’t really all that bright.
State Sen. Bill Ketron, R-Murfreesboro, and Speaker Pro Tempore Judd Matheny, R-Tullahoma, said Tuesday they are amending a bill they introduced last month that they said would combat terrorism.
How do you combat terrorism if you can’t, or won’t, name the cause????
The new version removes language that described Shariah — the Islamic legal codes that cover everything from the rules of warfare to prayer and diet — as advocating violence and a threat to the United States and Tennessee constitutions. The change makes clear that peaceful religious practices would not be considered a violation, the bill’s sponsors said in a statement.
Are these people totally insane? Or have they just not bothered to READ the Quran, the Hadith, or the Sunnah? Or any other the other so called works of scholarship on the cult?
The original bill stated explicitly that its aim was to combat organizations based on Shariah, which it defined as a “legal-political-military doctrinal system” that required adherents to advocate “the abrogation, destruction, or violation of the United States and Tennessee Constitutions … through violence and criminal activity.”
It’s a cult of death…of hatred, and sharia is the rules for promoting the evil.
That language outraged Muslim groups, who said it equated peaceful religious practices with terrorism. The bill also raised constitutional questions, as it appeared to target beliefs rather than overtly criminal activities.
There is NOTHING peaceful about this bunch. And excuse me, but if you CAIR types don’t like it, go the **** back where you came from! Your beliefs on stoning women, honor murder, hanging homosexuals, etc., had NO place in a country ruled by a common sense Constitution!
Mohamed Ahmed, imam of the Islamic Center of Nashville, said he was pleased that language that directly implicated Muslims had been removed from the bill, but he questioned whether lawmakers in Tennessee should press ahead when the federal government already had broad powers to fight terrorism.
Let’s see…isn’t that the place that “radicalized” Abdul Hakim Muhammad? Why, yes, I do believe it is! Do these P.C. fools not realize that we are being destroyed from the inside by just such people? Islam declared war on the U.S., and all the Western CIVILIZED world, and we are rolling over in surrender? It’s WAY past time to freakin’ MAN UP!

Silver Screen Legend Elizabeth Taylor Dies at Age 79
Screen legend Elizabeth Taylor died Wednesday at the age of 79.
Taylor had been hospitalized for over a month at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was being treated for symptoms of congestive heart failure.
It’s rather depressing that all the ‘legends’ I watched on the big screen are pretty much gone. What we have left now are a bunch of spoiled, ignorant children, so very few to admired.
A true classic.

Obama Sells “WE, The People” To The U.N.

Maybe I missed something, but wasn’t that The Constitution of the United States of America that we just laid to rest this weekend?
It was buried in a private ceremony by Mr. Barack Obama of Chicago as he silently signed America on to the One World Government some of us have been worried about for decades.
Look at it this way: Where did Mr. Obama get the authority to commit United States forces to war in Libya? There was no declaration of war. There was no authorizing resolution by Congress allowing money to be spent on a war against Col. Gaddafi. As far as I know, there was no meeting of Mr. Obama and top leaders of Congress to discuss the subject in even rough form, let alone detail. There was no lengthy buildup in which the Congress was “allowed” to express the people’s opinion on whether we want to be in a third concurrent war.
There was just a vote by the United Nations Security Council, a very far from unanimous vote, and suddenly, the President’s Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton, solemnly announced that we were at war.

On March 2, President Barack Obama anointed Vice President Joe Biden as his lead negotiator on coming to an agreement with congressional conservatives on this year’s federal budget. Biden then spent half a day on Capitol Hill talking with Republicans before jetting off to Europe. The next week, Senator Joe Manchin (D–WV) attacked the President on the Senate floor: “Why are we doing all this when the most powerful person in these negotiations—our president—has failed to lead this debate or offer a serious proposal for spending and cuts that he would be willing to fight for?” What Manchin doesn’t seem to realize is that failure is Obama’s plan.

No U.S. strategic interest in Libya

Africa isn’t called the Dark Continent for no reason. Africa has forever been a politi- cal nightmare full of overt corruption, tribal warfare, genocide, murderous regimes and brutal dictators.
There is no country in Africa that truly respects freedom or the rule of law. The majority of countries in Africa are in economic ruin because of political corruption and a history ugly with cruel despotism. That’s why starvation and disease are rampant. AIDS is projected to kill as much as half the populations of some countries. Genocide is a way of life. There is little light in Africa.
The evil Col. Moammar Gadhafi, the vicious dictator of Libya, is killing Libyans who want to string him up and replace him.
In order to keep Col. Gadhafi from killing Libyan rebels, the United Nations has instituted a no-fly zone and is bombing Libya. Though the action is led by the French, who once wouldn’t let us fly over their country to bomb Col. Gadhafi, it is the United States, as usual, that is – and will be – doing all the heavy military lifting.

I haven’t had much to say about Libya. What’s to say? We’ve watched the Middle East set itself on fire the last couple of months, and this isn’t much different. Well, except that Gadhafi is a whole lot like his “son“, Obama, in that his ego is way too big for him to believe anyone would be unhappy with his brand of rule.
Another thought….why be so worried about those ‘human shields’? Didn’t some of them say they were there to protect the insane dictator? If so, then why care whether or not they go to see Allah sooner, rather than later? Wouldn’t these be the types that would continue the murder of the REAL innocent civilians? Nor should we arm the rebels. Just encourage one of the high ranking Libyan to send in an assassin, kill the top tier, and let them sort it out. We have enough on our plate without getting involved in someone else’s war. We have a war, right here at home, trying to preserve what we have left of a once great nation.
Yes, we should encourage freedom, and the spread of REAL democracy. Unfortunately, the Middle East, with ONE exception, will never be democratic. Nor will most of Africa. Islam and democracy to do, and will not, mesh. Evil has a way of triumphing when no one will stand up to it, and the people of the region evidently prefer the evil.

Personal opinion, the only “innocent civilians” are children, and they are put at risk by parents who obviously don’t love their children. What parent would intentionally teach their kids to murder and die?
