Vermont’s Single-Payer Health Care Bill Ignites Debate Over Covering Illegal Immigrants

At least one roadblock stands in the way of Vermont’s path toward becoming the first state to adopt a single-payer health care system: coverage for illegal immigrants.

First question, why would anyone want socialized medicine? Has no one learned diddly from Cuba, Great Britain, etc? Second question: Who the hell cares what ILLEGALS want, or don’t want?

The state Senate, which passed its version of the bill this week, added a last-minute provision that would bar illegal immigrants from being covered under a state-run insurance program the bill envisions setting up called Green Mountain Care.

The move outraged immigrant advocates.

An immigrant is someone who comes in the front door, follows the rules, and adapts to their new environment, instead of trying to change it to exactly the same they came from. An ILLEGAL has no right to expect ANYTHING from the country they’ve broken into….ILLEGALLY!

“When we say health care is a human right, we mean for everybody who lives and works in Vermont regardless of legal status,” the Vermont Workers’ Center said in a statement.”We will not tolerate racial profiling and accept the unjust immigration and foreign policies of the federal government. We can do better than that.”

Hey, you commie bastards, how ’bout you remember what laws are for! To PROTECT legal citizens from criminal invaders. NO where does it state, anywhere, that health care is a ‘human right’. NO WHERE!  And what the hell does race have to do dick???  Criminals comes in all colors!  I’m getting extremely disgusted with these so called advocates aiding and abetting CRIMINALS!

Texas Bill Would Make Invasive Pat-Downs a Felony

A former Miss USA’s claims of being groped during a pat-down at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport could be a felony under a bill gaining momentum in the Texas Legislature.

The bill would make it illegal for a security officer to intentionally touch someone’s private areas — even atop clothing — unless they have probable cause to believe the person is carrying something illegal.

Bill sponsor State Rep. David Simpson says the searches are removing people’s dignity.

Yes, they are. Having been a gropee, before the major gropers got started, I can tell ya, it is beyond uncomfortable. And no offer of dinner? I don’t think so! Not only are they violating the 4th Amendment, the humiliation of such invasive actions can be quite emotionally damaging, especially to young travelers.

I’m hoping that other states will follow Texas’ lead, and inform the federal government that we will no longer be abused by their over reaching offenses.   Until the so called airport security actually starts targeting those who DO pose a threat to our nation, I will NOT be flying…..anywhere!
