As a teacher, I have known for decades that our public education system is a poor investment.  Local taxpayers need to rise up and rebel against the Draconian taxes they are paying to support public schools.

Problem is, mostly, we aren’t supporting the schools, but the indoctrinators….er….teachers.   Throwing more money at them is like throwing gas on a fire….just makes ‘em worse!

-Spot-on AOW and OB.  But the teachers also have to rise-up and remove their union leadership.  In the early 1980′s I was a member of an AFSCME Local that was run by these types.  Me and two others took over the Local and stopped the BS.

-OB: Thank you for the linky love.

Kate, thanks so much for the link. Great roundup. I have to go read that one on the lousy return on our education investment.

Bob, how did you manage to get ‘em straightened out?  I am totally impressed.  :D   Now, when can you get to work of the rest of ‘em???

Maggie, I wish I could link to everything.  There is so much really good info out there.
