Glenn Beck 04/11/11 (Judge Nepolitano)
What’s Next For Beck?
Coffee & Chicory
Apparently, if it’s an African country, there will be atrocities, on both sides. I’m wondering if turning this guy over to the ‘rebels’ was a good idea.
Since nowhere in the U.S. Constitution does it state that killing babies is a “right”, I’d welcome some revisions on abortion, including a waiting period. They might also consider making all involved take a good look at a sonogram!
Do you think the anti-Israeli types will begin to understand the horrors the Jewish people had to endure by watching these videos? Perhaps learn from history? Naw…me neither. Such hatred runs deep and are totally irrational.
There is something seriously wrong with our society, and Chicago in particular! It seems to me that evil has filled the void that government created.
Chicago may still be enamored with D’Bama, but I get the impression the rest of the country has issues with the “community organizer”.
They have learned well from their terrorist brothers from foreign countries.
Let’s face it! Democrats just flat out hate children!
Apparently, the law doesn’t matter to Democrats. Creating sanctuary cities for lawbreakers seems par for the course, even though such actions cost taxpayers BILLIONS every year….what do they care? It’s not their money after all.
How long does it take for the temperature inside of a vehicle to reach 112 degrees? I’d guess a bit longer than just a few minutes. Some people don’t have enough sense to pour piss out of a boot with the instructions on the heel!
I’m pretty sure if someone used the sense God gave them, this “awakening” could have been stopped. It still could, they just have to consider what to do with all that glass afterwards.
But the ‘border is safe‘, right?
They actually spend money on what any bullied 8th grader could tell them?
Is this Bush’s fault too?
Why are U.S. funds paying for this? We are freakin’ BROKE!
I’m not sure why the Egyptians thought anything was going to get better, that people would be more free to speak their minds.
Yeah….like that’s ever going to really happen. A terrorist’s word means NOTHING!
I’m not really sure what I think of Donald Trump, but at least HE is asking the questions that the media should have been asking! And no, I am NOT a ‘birther’. I’d just like to know what D’Bama is hiding. Where are his school records, etc.?
This could get REAL interesting. It’s not as if Muslims in France give a damn about French law, or any county they have effectively invaded.
Attacking A Man’s Faith
A 7-foot Jesus statue in Tuan Pham’s back yard and at the heart of a zoning dispute was damaged by fire Sunday morning.
Pham and his wife, Mai, awoke for an early church service to see a blaze enveloping the marble statue Pham had imported and erected in his prayer garden beside the Mississippi River bluff. A pile of nail-studded wood had been stacked around the statue’s base and lit on fire.
Will the Christians start rioting now? Storm the city council? Destroy, maim, and murder? /sarcasm
After an anonymous complaint to the city last November, a zoning board rejected Pham’s request for a variance that would have allowed the statue to stay put. The City Council upheld that denial last week, saying that the statue is subject to the 40-foot setback from the bluff.
Well, of course it was ‘anonymous’! And apparently there was only one. So, why did the council even pay attention? Why, because it was a complaint against a Christian, of course!
Obviously, no one knows who the perpetrator is yet, if they ever will, but the fact that someone is so anti-Christian in a country that was founded on Judeo-Christian values is more than just a bit disturbing. Trespassing on a man’s property to set a fire and destroy a symbol of his faith? The thug is lucky he/she didn’t pull that in the South….might have found him/herself on a slab in the morgue.

Update: Gateway Pundit has video.
Trillions We Can’t Afford!
Changing the Culture of Washington
The Foundry
This Congress was sent to Washington with a simple mandate from the American people: cut federal spending and get government under control. Friday night’s budget compromise to avert a government shutdown embraced these principles, but also left plenty of work to be done. Congress has finally started cutting spending instead of running up the tab on future generations, and we hope the budget deal changed the culture of Washington. No longer should budgets be railroaded through Washington that increase spending and grow government. From here on out, the question should be: What can be cut?
Hebrews 2:2-4
2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

I Am An Extremist
I will wear that title proudly, too! But what makes me an extremist? Well, because the Democrats have said so, from Harry Reid, to Nancy Pelosi, to even the presumed President of the United States, and all those who follow along in their footsteps. How did they come to this conclusion, you ask? Well, to be perfectly honest, I’ve been wondering about that myself. So, let’s take a look at a few of the possibilities.
1. I am a Christian. I believe in God. I believe God came to earth in human form, Jesus, to save me from myself, and paid for my sins with the physical death of His body. The left doesn’t like Christians, as I’m sure you’ve noticed.
2. I am pro-life. I believe babies are a gift. If you can’t afford a child, do not get pregnant. There are many ways to prevent this from happening. Abstinence is the best, especially for teens. It also prevents a whole alphabet of diseases as well.
3. I am pro-death penalty. Now, some would say that would be a contradiction of #2. How so? An evil person commits a crime against another human being…. murder, child assault, rape, etc. Shouldn’t that evil person answer for his/her horrendous crime? A pre-born child has committed NO crime. Therefore, no contradiction. As a matter of fact, have you noticed that most death penalty opponents are also pro-abortion? Now to me, THAT is a contradiction.
4. I believe that government has a very limited role, as was the intent of the Founders. VERY limited. The purpose of the federal government is laid out quite plainly in the U.S. Constitution. I have found no where that it states the government has the right to tell me what kind of light bulb to use or how much salt I can put on my food (which I don’t by the way because I don’t happen to like salt). I have seen nothing that says the federal government has the right to confiscate my property, or search my person… without just cause.
5. I believe that the 1st Amendment means what it says, yet there have been groups, who are in the minority, that have abused and twisted the meaning, aided by the Supreme Court. There is no such thing as ‘separation of church and state’. I also believe the 2nd Amendment means what it says, as does every other word of the Constitution.
6. I do not believe one group of people is more special, or more equal, than any other. Therefore, no government has the right to grant special privileges to one over another.
7. I do not believe you are entitled to ANYTHING. Every man, woman, and child has the opportunity to succeed. There are no guarantees that any one will. A person can pursue happiness, but there is no law that says the government, or anyone else, has to grant you happiness.
8. Rights are not granted by man nor governments. Rights are granted by God, and no man can ever deny you the rights given by Him.
9. I believe the security of the citizens of this country should be a priority. This includes securing the borders from invaders.
10. I don’t believe in the destruction of public, or private, property when a group doesn’t get its way is a very grown up way to behave.
I’m sure I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Now, let’s look at the definition for ‘extremist’.
–noun
1. a person who goes to extremes, especially in political matters.
2. a supporter or advocate of extreme doctrines or practices.
Whoa! Wait a minute. What? That doesn’t describe me at all. There is nothing extreme about wanting to save innocent lives, or expect the criminal to be punished, or believing the government has no role in my church, or my beliefs, or that man can’t grant or take away rights which are are granted by God….or the laws of Nature, if you prefer.
No, I don’t think I’m an extremist. Just because someone else whose views are the opposite says I am, does not make it so. As a matter of fact, I happen to believe that those who would label me as such are, in reality, the very definition of extremist.
Why?
I have to ask! Why do the Democrats want to murder babies? Why do they insist that taxpayer money be used to fund the abortion mill, better known as Planned Parenthood? From what I can tell, the MAJORITY of American people do NOT want their hard earned dollars to be turned into blood money. And that’s what it is, you know. Blood money.
Do the Democrats, and all those spouting “a woman’s right to choose” know what they do to those innocent babies? Do they have any idea how that beating heart is silenced? The horrific pain and suffering that tiny child goes through? If they do know, do they care?
Harry Reid and company would rather see our military families go without, than to stop the taxpayer funding of infanticide. I can only say it is evil. The devil won another battle in D.C. last night. The blood of millions of innocent children are on the hands of the Democrats. Will God forgive them? I don’t know. I just know that I can not, and will not!

I Am Tired Of Being Angry!
For the past few months, I have been angry enough for several people. I don’t typically get all that mad…a little here and there, and then just laugh it off. Lately, it’s been full blown, triple and quadruple anger. At what, you might ask? Watched the news lately?
When you combine the health issues of the Mr, the libtard union thugs in Wisconsin, the socialist/apologist SOB in the White House, the murderous pedophile worshipers around the world, add the propagandists who try to pass themselves off as journalists, and a myriad of other things, and you come up with one pissed off ol’ broad! And I’m tired! Anger can wear ya out!
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not mad at the Mr cuz he’s got the health issues. I’m angry with all the BS red tape, and no one ever knowing what the blazes is going on.
I am angry that the leftards are so flippin’ ignorant, they have NO idea the damage they have done, and will continue to do. I’m not talking about the ‘leadership’ of said leftards. They know exactly what they are doing. It’s the morons that follow along blindly, never thinking for themselves, taking the word of those in charge, marching in lock step like a bunch of goose stepping Nazis. THEY piss me off royally!
I am furious that the left also continues to blame everyone else for the actions of crazy people. Islamonazi slugs laughter innocent people and it’s either the U.S.’ fault, or Israel’s, or both. Get a freakin’ grip people! Get the FACTS!
And don’t even get me started on the media!
Uh oh….getting angry again…..

BREATHE!
So, I’ve decided, I am going to do my utmost NOT to be so angry anymore. I didn’t say I was going to succeed. I said I was going to TRY!
Email Update From Rep Blackburn
UPDATE ON GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS
The situation in Washington is developing quickly. I expect this will be one of many updates I will be sending over the next few days as we resolve vital spending issues. First, where we are now: After late negotiations at the White House last night, a deal to keep the government running has yet to be reached. The House passed one more temporary funding measure on a bi-partisan basis yesterday. This bill eliminated another $12 billion in government spending and fully funds the Department of Defense for the rest of the current fiscal year. There is nothing in the temporary bill that isn’t largely being encompassed in the compromise bill being negotiated by the Speaker and the White House.
CiC Deserts The Troops
So, if he refuses to pay our military, will the Marines not show up for work at the White House? Will the pilots of Air Force One, and Marine One, leave the crafts sitting on the runway while he’s waiting to go off on another vacation? Will our troops around the world sleep in? I mean, after all, if they aren’t getting paid to do their job, why would they bother to show up?
Commander-in-Chief Turns His Back on America’s Military
The Foundry
The American military is engaged in multiple conflicts and humanitarian missions around the world, yet President Obama promised to veto legislation funding the troops for the remainder of 2011. This is a reprehensible political stunt, and it comes at the expense of our servicemen and women and the families they support.
Yesterday, as efforts to resolve the debate on 2011 government funding continued, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Il.) introduced yet another temporary bill designed to keep the government operating for one more week during negotiations, and in this case, ensure the military portion of the budget is appropriated to eliminate the economic uncertainty facing our troops.
Before a vote was even taken, President Obama issued a Statement of Administration Policy that offered no policy, and merely called Speaker Boehner’s efforts a “distraction”, with the promise to veto the legislation. In fact, Speaker Boehner’s goal was to aid our armed forces by removing the distraction of a looming government shutdown for our troops. The House went on to pass the bill 247-181 with 15 Democrats joining nearly all Republicans.
Looking For A Backbone
Tennessee Republicans downplay social issues
Social issues are taking a back seat in the state legislature this year, as Republican moderates have so far kept issues such as guns, abortion and states’ rights from overshadowing their program on education and business matters.
Moderates? Oh, you mean Dem Lite. Got it.
GOP leaders, especially those in the state House, have avoided controversies over nullification of federal laws and President Barack Obama’s birth certificate this session, quietly voting down bills that deal with those topics in subcommittees. Meanwhile, Republicans have moved to cast many of their most controversial positions on social issues, such as the teaching of evolution and gay rights, as economic or education issues.
The issue shouldn’t be BO’s birth certificate, per se, but any FUTURE president’s birth certificate. I’m more interested in his records, school, health, passport, etc. That would give us a great deal of information. Nothing wrong with teaching evolution, as long as it’s balanced with intelligent design. Gay rights? We have issues. No one group of people should have any more rights than any other group of people. Getting special treatment because you’d prefer to deny how God made you doesn’t exactly sit well with the majority of people. And, IMHO, education should be dealt with on the local level. Government has taken away the rights of the parents to have a say in how their children are educated.
The Republicans’ approach to social issues could help determine how long they will stay in power after gaining control of the legislature and the governor’s office for the first time in more than 140 years.
They might want to look to the people who voted them into office, and what they think about the pussy footin’ around.
Republicans explain the drop in attention paid to social issues mainly as the product of limited time.
“I think we are fully focused on tort reform and education reform, the issues that are most important to this caucus and to the governor,” House Speaker Beth Harwell said Thursday.
But what about the other issues that are important to the voters? You know, the ones we all put y’all in office to deal with?
Conservatives seem willing to wait as their favored issues are placed behind Gov. Bill Haslam’s lawsuit and education reforms, new unemployment rules sought by business and efforts to overturn the 1978 law that gave Tennessee teachers the right to unionize. Activists on the left say the strategy disguises policies that are detrimental.
Activists on the left are freakin’ communists, with an eye to destroy the very foundations of the entire country. I don’t think they should have a say in diddly! I’m sure we could take up a collection and send them to one of the many commie countries still in existence, like say…Cuba? Or how about Venezuela!
“I think we are fully focused on tort reform and education reform, the issues that are most important to this caucus and to the governor,” House Speaker Beth Harwell said Thursday.
I still have difficulty understanding how that man got elected. So far, I am NOT impressed, and neither is anyone I know. Nice guy and all, but we don’t need a ‘nice guy’. Once again, it’s not what is important to the governor, or the legislature, that is important. It’s the VOTERS! The ones that pay the salaries!
“We are truly trying to concentrate on jobs, trying to concentrate on education,” Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey said. He added: “We’re not exactly holding back. We’re just addressing what we think needs to be addressed.”
Now THIS guy would have been a leader! sigh… Shame on TN for not recognizing that fact. And the Good Lord knows, what we need in this country, now more than ever, are leaders!
How long social issues will remain in the background is uncertain. Legislators plan to shut down committees in about a month.
“The legislative process is really very complex,” said Fowler. “These things that they are dealing with, like collective bargaining, are big issues, and big issues take more time than small ones.”
Only a politician could take something really simple, and turn it into something so complex, even THEY can’t understand it.
