Mr Obnoxious Speaks
Gore promoting fewer children to curb pollution
In an appearance Monday in New York City, former Vice President Al Gore, prominently known for his climate change activism, took on the subject of population size and the role of society in controlling it to reduce pollution.
Using a bit of duct tape on algore would be a good start to reducing pollution. I don’t think I can think of anyone, other than Obama, who spews as much garbage as he does.
“One of the things we could do about it is to change the technologies, to put out less of this pollution, to stabilize the population, and one of the principle ways of doing that is to empower and educate girls and women,” Gore said. “You have to have ubiquitous availability of fertility management so women can choose how many children have, the spacing of the children.
Is that what they’re calling it now? “Fertility management”? Here’s a thought…. how about algore takes his show on the road, and convince other countries, like many in Africa, where babies are popped out by the bushel full, and convince the MALES of the population to keep it in their pants? Of course, being a RICH Democrat, he’s likely not to understand that many women in such places have a large number of children so they can help support the family. And also likely, he’s unable to grasp the concept that there are countries that encourage the murder of female babies so the family can have males.
“You have to lift child survival rates so that parents feel comfortable having small families and most important — you have to educate girls and empower women,” he said. “And that’s the most powerful leveraging factor, and when that happens, then the population begins to stabilize and societies begin to make better choices and more balanced choices.”
Mr Gore…..

The Bad Teacher Boogie
Carbonated Caffeine
If memory serves, back in 1960, John F Kennedy had some major barriers to overcome because he was Catholic. I’ll be honest, I don’t know a whole lot about the Mormon faith, just that they have faith. I’d much rather have a Mormon in the White House than a Muslim. We have a whole lot more in common.
Maybe they’ll keep her. She already believes she’s a queen over here.
It’s not about education. It’s all about power. They should ALL be fired, and let people who actually CARE about teaching kids take over.
I guess there is no such thing as ‘self defense’ over there, and it’s just peachy to cut someone’s head off for TRYING not to be raped. And then expect payment? Barbarians!
Race should play NO role in admissions to a school! If we truly want a color blind society, it’s way past time to remove “RACE” from any and all applications!
NO ONE in the Obama administration is qualified to do diddly! The Senate may think this guy was a good choice, but then, the Senate is full of hacks! So, what do they know. Remember when Communism was a BAD thing?
Well, that’s what you get when a city is full of corruption.
Honestly, I’m surprised THAT many will vote for the man/child. Ignorance is NOT bliss! Snap out of it!
How do you make a ‘wrong turn‘ on a bloomin’ runway?
Unless it’s an undercover cop, I don’t see what the problem is with taking pictures.
I’m thinking it would be kind of nice to have no outside interference from governments.
I really don’t think this guy is going to get too far. He might as well be a Democrat and run against Obama in the primary.
Ya might not have to water it, but ya do have to wash it?
It always amazes me that the Israelis are so tolerant of the continuous bombings without taking extreme retaliation measures. The fact they only bombed the tunnel, and not many miles around it speaks volumes about their patience with terrorist thugs.
Perhaps FedEx should take over the Post Office? It’s apparent they know how to run things.
I wonder if I can get ‘em to pay for my surgery and physical therapy?
Face It….The Left LIES!
The Truth About Tax Cuts
The Foundry
All you are likely to hear about low tax rates from liberals and their echo chamber in the media is that they don’t work—that they fail to gin up economic or job growth. Exhibit A for this preposterous proposition is the Bush tax cuts. The left wants you to accept it as conventional wisdom that the policy was a bust.
Don’t believe it. The tax cuts enacted by the U.S. Congress in 2003 were an important cause of an economic expansion that roared for some 50 months and created 8.1 million jobs. The opposite philosophy—a stimulus that has crowded out private investment, plus an enormous health bill and a nightmarish financial regulatory package that are killing job creation—has only delayed recovery and left us with 9.1% unemployment.

Pictures of America’s Fiscal Nightmare
The Foundry
There’s urgency in Washington to fix a problem that’s been a long time coming: America’s fast track to fiscal implosion. In The Heritage Foundation’s just-released, expanded 2011 Budget Chart Book, you can see just how bad the country’s spending problem is and how America racked up so much debt.
Congress is coming to grips with the need to enact reform, in part because there’s a new breed of Tea Party conservatives making their voices heard on Capitol Hill and also because the government has reached the legal limit on how much it can borrow. The Washington Post reports this morning that it’s crunch time in Washington, with legislators and the White House working to find a way to cut $2 trillion from the federal budget by 2021.
Don’t Drink The Yellow Water
Eight Million Gallons of Water Wasted After Man Urinates in Reservoir
A man from Portland, Oregon has cost the city over $36,000 dollars after urinating in the city water supply.
In a time where people talk all the time about droughts, 21 year old Josh Seater has cost the city of Portland Oregon 8 million gallons of drinking water.
After a night on the town, a heavily intoxicated Seater began urinating a water reservoir. “I didn’t know it was a water supply, otherwise I wouldn’t have done it, I thought it was a sewage plant”.
I have to ask the obvious: How did the little pisser get anywhere near the reservoir? Don’t they have any kind of security? A fence maybe? Seems awfully foolish to have an entire town’s drinking water exposed like that to anyone who has a whim to wizz.
And he hasn’t been charged? How ’bout charging him $36,000? He just might reconsider the next time he gets the urge.

Well, That Was Fun
Today, I had to go to Jackson for some pre-op stuff. Not a problem. However, it’s a bloomin’ miracle I made over there in one piece. I’m in a truck. You’d think people would notice me, right? WRONG! Within just a mile, I had 4 different vehicles pull right in front of me. Thank you Lord and brakes! Jeeeez!
So, I made it to the hospital, finally! I parked, got out of the truck, and took 20 minutes waddling to the desk. My appointment was for 1pm. They called to tell me be there at 12:30. I was there at 12:30. They didn’t call me till 1:10.
Why did I have to be there at 12:30?
Well, for the next two hours, I got grilled, poked, prodded, radiated, and wired. So much fun. Let’s not do that again for a while, ok?
Naturally, on my way home, there had to be a couple of incidents. There was that great big ol’ semi that doesn’t know what a red light is for! Then there was that old pick ‘em up truck and that weeny ‘green car’ that had to block both lanes, doing about 15 miles UNDER the speed limit. Obviously, no one could get around them. This went on for a good 10 miles. sigh…
I am rather curious what the four McNairy cops were doing with the minivan on the side of the road, after whizzing by everybody to get there. Oh well. I guess it was a slow day and four is more fun than one or two.
I made there and back…exhausted…short a bit of blood….but basically in one piece. Yay me!
Conservative Sabotage
Gov. Haslam? PAY ATTENTION!
Texas Tells Feds: Shove Your Light Bulb Ban
State lawmakers have passed a bill that allows Texans to skirt federal efforts to promote more efficient light bulbs, which ultimately pushes the swirled, compact fluorescent bulbs over the 100-watt incandescent bulbs many grew up with.
The measure, sent to Gov. Rick Perry for consideration, lets any incandescent light bulb manufactured in Texas – and sold in that state – avoid the authority of the federal government or the repeal of the 2007 energy independence act that starts phasing out some incandescent light bulbs next year.
“Let there be light,” state Rep. George Lavender, R-Texarkana, wrote on Facebook after the bill passed. “It will allow the continued manufacture and sale of incandescent light bulbs in Texas, even after the federal ban goes into effect. … It’s a good day for Texas.”
If Perry vetoes, on the advice a bunch of weasels up in New York, he might as well forget ever making a run for the White House! Bush did a lot of dumb things while there, but this one is in the top 5 on the REALLY dumb list!
And just think of the jobs it would create, right here in Tennessee!

Eric Holder’s Laughable Idea About Politics and Justice
“Politics has no place — no place — in the impartial and effective administration of justice,” Attorney General Eric Holder thundered last week. “Decisions about how, where and when to prosecute must be made by prosecutors, not politicians.”
As usual, Holder sees “politics” as the evil motive of any body who disagrees with him. Like most elite ultra-libs, he believes he is in a state of nature, his motives noble and pure.
It’s a laughable idea, especially when you get a load of his audience. He was speaking to the American Constitution Society, which Politico describes as a “liberal lawyers’ group.” No politics there!
Holder blasted bipartisan congressional efforts to block his plans to try terrorists in civilian courts. Defeated by public opposition to his nutty bid to bring the trial of the 9/11 mastermind to lower Manhattan, Holder is in the same argument again.
A president’s choice for Attorney General says a great deal about the POTUS himself. Holder speaks VOLUMES about Obama. If he didn’t, then Obama would have sh*t canned that incompetent boob a LONG time ago!
And He’s Not Even Funny
Jon Stewart on MSM: Fox agenda-driven but ABC, CBS, NBC, NY Times are not
WALLACE: [Y]ou love to take shots at Fox News.
STEWART: Yes I do.
WALLACE: Over the years, you have called us –and we’re going to put this on the screen because this is heavy stuff: ‘A biased organization, relentlessly promoting an ideological agenda under the rubric of being a news organization.’
STEWART: Rubric?
WALLACE: And I think that was slightly the wrong use of the word – ‘a relentless agenda-driven, 24-hour news propaganda delivery system.’ Where do you come up with this stuff?
STEWART: It’s easy when you feel it. You have to feel it in your soul.
WALLACE: Well, here is the deal – are you willing to say the same thing about the mainstream media, ABC, CBS, NBC, Washington Post, New York Times?
STEWART: No.
WALLACE: Would you say the same thing about them that they are, in your words, a ‘propaganda-delivery system relentlessly pushing a liberal agenda’?
STEWART: No, I wouldn’t say that.
WALLACE: Why not?
STEWART: MSNBC is attempting that. I think they’re attempting — they have looked at your business model and they have seen the success of it and I think they’re attempting to be a more activist organization.
WALLACE: You don’t think The New York Times is a liberal organization now pushing a liberal agenda?
STEWART: The New York Times – no. I think they are to a certain extent. Do I think they’re relentlessly activist? No. In a purely liberal partisan way? No, I don’t. I think this is — Fox is a very special.
The idea that anyone can take this guy seriously astounds me! He’s not funny. He’s not informed. Yet there are so many who take people like him and Colbert seriously as ‘news’. That’s not news. News consists of facts. The alphabets are no longer news, and the Times? Well, they may have been considered a legitimate news source at one time, but now they are nothing more than a left wing tabloid.
Isaiah 1:16-2
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
