Denied Aid by FEMA for ‘Insufficient Damage’
Jefferson County resident Jonathan Stewart said he laughed in shock after the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) claimed the house his family lost in the deadly April 27 twister was ‘not unsafe to live in’.
Displaced families in tornado-ravaged Alabama are outraged after being denied federal aide to rebuild their flattened homes – due to ‘insufficient damage’.
The devastating reality is the house is now a concrete slab surrounded by rubble.
Tell ya what Mr FEMA Man…..YOU go live in that house you claim has ‘insufficient damage’! How utterly ridiculous! I realize there are some people who will claim damage, and not have any, or even have a house at all to claim on, but when you go, and look at the place, with your own two gubmint eyes, don’t you think a little common sense should be in order??
Let me ask….just how much extra does it cost for the people who received such a letter, even after the damage has been seen, personally, but FEMA workers, to appeal such an absurd decision. Who the hell hires these people? Oh yeah….your federal gubmint! I’d say we’ve been wasting a boatload of money on incompetents! We spend BILLIONS on giving aid to countries that hate us, yet we can’t help our own when they really need it? Does anyone else have a problem with this???

How can this fool be ‘pushing jobs’, when he does everything within his power, and a lot that is NOT in his power, to destroy them?
I like a man with confidence as opposed to arrogance. 
Serious question: Before the influx of invaders from foreign countries, was this a serious problem in the U.S.?
Apparently, city councils seem to think it’s ok to have possession of keys to someone’s personal property. And it’s not all that uncommon. Try that at this house, you might get your ass shot!
Wanna buy a lighthouse? Wonder if you’d have to put one of those ridiculous boxes on it?
And just why don’t we limit the number of foreigners who supposedly come to work, and forget to go home? I’m pretty sure THEIR penalties are a lot tougher than our little pat on the head.
Nope. Don’t think this guy is the right one for the job….or the country. Someone what to tell me what Libya has to do with our security? How ’bout putting troops on the border, where IS in the best interest of OUR national security! Does ANYONE in D.C. have a clue what’s in the U.S. Constitution?????

These people don’t live on the same planet, do they. If a lizard or a mosquito is more important than a human life, they have SERIOUS problems! And just what the hell is a freakin’ pupfish, and who cares?
You can call it anything you want, but a ‘food stamp’ is still a food stamp! Instead of worry about the stigma of being on welfare, how about worrying about whether or not this is a lifetime career choice.
Can we say NO? They’ve had plenty of time to get their own house in order, and I’m tired of American soldiers being killed because the Iraqis can’t, or won’t, step up!

The Obama Administration has another problem on its hands. The mighty hand of the federal government has its grip on education in the form of the No Child Left Behind federal law on public education, but the trouble is that the law isn’t working. Instead of a top-down approach to education, it’s time for restoring state and local control over education, while downsizing the Department of Education.
That’s a lesson that Education Secretary Arne Duncan needs to learn.

“This sordid affair has become an unacceptable distraction for Representative Weiner, his family, his constituents and the House,” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, said in a written statement calling for the 46-year-old married lawmaker to step down.
Really Deb? A distraction….for him? The boy has become, not only an embarrassment for the entire country, but a laughing stock as well, and you call it a distraction? Yeah…ok.
The House Democratic leader, Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California, said Weiner “has the love of his family, the confidence of his constituents and the recognition that he needs help. I urge Congressman Weiner to seek that help without the pressures of being a member of Congress.”
Which would explain why this slime ball keeps getting elected? The ‘confidence’ of his constituents? Dang! I’d really hate to live in a district that full of the clueless.
The statement did not say where he would receive treatment, or what type was involved. Others familiar with his plans said he had left New York by air.

How Democrats Stay In Power
They lie. Repeatedly. Yet, even with evidence that factually contradict their lies, they continue to be re-elected. They know those who vote for them don’t care if they are liars. They don’t care if they cheat, steal, or even kill. It’s all about the power, and the sheep that follow along blindly, aided and abetted by the media. Yet people continue to ask, what has happened to our country? Well, here’s just ONE example of what has happened:

Why would people continue to humiliate themselves, and support these types of people? I honestly don’t know. You’d have to ask them. I suspect it’s because they, themselves, don’t see a problem with lying, cheating, stealing, or killing. Lack of morals perhaps. A complete lack of God.

Suspicious white powder found in letter to Courier
It was the first time the sophisticated testing machine the size of a small suitcase had been put to actual use since its acquisition, according to Hardin County EMA Director Melvin Martin.
“I know that 99 percent of these incidents turn out to be hoaxes,” Mitchell said, “but as Melvin was putting the powder into the machine, it was a tense couple of minutes.”
Addressed to Mitchell, the letter may have come from an inmate at the Whiteville Correctional Center in Hardeman County. The medium security state prison is managed by Nashville-based Corrections Corporation of America.
I thought incoming and outgoing mail from jails and prisons were checked? How did a powdery substance get sealed up in an outgoing letter?
The letter, purported to come from a representative of the “Adamite American Revolutionary Army,” did not threaten Mitchell or the newspaper, but warned that the Memphis city water supply would be “blessed” with spent nuclear fuel rods from Oak Ridge.
It also warned of a biological attack on Memphis via anthrax, smallpox and Ebola disease, plus an assault on the electrical grid.
I looked up “Adamite American Revolutionary Army” and found nothing but the the link to this story. Has anyone ever heard of them? I sure haven’t. But if this guy is threatening Memphis, why is he sending his letter to a reporter from a little town several hours away?
The letter specifically identifies Memphis television station WMC-TV-5 in Memphis as a “target” and closes with the sentence, “Andy Wise, RIP.” Wise is the news station’s investigative reporter for consumer issues.
What on earth could Mr Wise have done so bad to annoy this person?

While we get ready to send out kids to Vacation Bible School, and a variety of summer camps, to learn to ride horses, swim, make birdcages made out of Popsicle sticks, the Palestinians send their children to a different kind of camp.
Hamas Summer Camps Train Next Generation Terrorists
In 2010 Hamas ran camps for an estimated 100,000 campers, a number similar to 2009. The Islamic Jihad terror group ran 51 camps with 10,000 participating boys and girls.
Hamas spokesman Ismail Radwan reported the objectives of the camps were to raise a generation of children with ‘genuine Islamic values.’
“Children working for the interests of their homeland and to educate them to the culture of the Islamic faith so they will remember their goals, including Jerusalem and the prisoners,” Radwan said
In addition to indoctrination, Hamas terrorists give children paramilitary training. Banners are hung on the walls with slogans extolling jihad and ‘death for the sake of Allah.’
I realize that some kids can be a real pain in the hinder, but for a parent to hate their child so much they would rather have them commit suicide/murder, I just will NEVER understand. Why are the foolish left so supportive of such hatred? I thought they did everything “for the children”? Oh…wait a minute. I guess there isn’t much difference between killing a child, before or after their birth. They even contribute money to promote the death of children.
Isn’t it interesting that the Israelis will save a Palestinian child as quite as they’d save their own, yet the Palestinians will murder their own child as quick as they’d murder as Israeli one.

The Iranian Threat That Can’t Be Ignored

The leader of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad once said that Israel must be “wiped off the map.” And now Iran stands poised to have its finger on the trigger of a nuclear weapon, yet the Obama Administration continues to remain virtually silent on the nascent threat, all while the clouds amassing over the Iranian Peninsula are growing too dark to ignore.
Yesterday, following news that Iran plans to triple its output of higher-grade uranium, the United States, China, Russia, Britain, France and Germany issued a joint statement calling for Iran to provide more information about its nuclear intentions and that the country’s nuclear drive is causing “deep concern” to a number of world powers. Meanwhile, the United States issued sanctions on Iran’s police chief and three government entities it says are involved in the brutal repression of Iranian citizens.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

When I saw this headline yesterday from NetRight Daily I thought it had to be some sort of joke:

What? Are they kidding? Right there, in the second paragraph, there’s a link that leads to Center for American Progress, a Spooky Dude funded socialist organization.

Increasing the minimum wage helps ensure employees are rewarded for their hard work and boosts the incomes of low-wage workers—something that is sorely needed to increase consumption and get the economy going. It reduces turnover and helps employers compete on a more level playing field, forcing firms away from a low-road, low-human capital investment model to one where workers stay attached to the workforce and employers make stronger investments in training. Taxpayers are better off because they have to bear fewer of the negative externalities from low-road employers—such as the costs of food stamps and Medicaid.
Oh. Really. You know what would be an even BIGGER reward? Being able to KEEP THEIR DAMN JOB!
It is quite apparent to me, or most any thinking person, this would be the worst idea to come out of the lefties since the last time they pulled this crap. There would be MORE jobs if we did away with the minimum wage altogether.
As I said, way back in 2007, if you are still making minimum wage after any time spent on the job, then you really SUCK at your job and should probably be fired! The types of jobs that pay minimum wage are ‘starter jobs’. First time workers, likely high school kids, or those fresh out of, or perhaps a young mom? The point is, it’s not suppose to be a ‘living wage’. You aren’t suppose to be able to support a family of four, and pay your mortgage on minimum wage. One of the many HUGE mistakes the federal government has made was imposing a minimum on what a company pays it’s employees. It doesn’t solve anything! It actually raises the prices of everything. That young mom will have to pay more for her daycare because the daycare center has to raise it’s rates in order to pay it’s first time employees. The cost of milk for her children will go up even more than it already has. It will be more difficult to put shoes on her child’s feet.
Do these people have a clue how the economy even works? No, I didn’t think so. It’s all about them, and redistributing someone else’s hard earned money.
To even consider demanding a raise in minimum wage at this point in time, with this economy, is not only foolish….it’s ludicrous! Companies are not hiring. Well, except for McDonald’s, to which we can attribute 50% of the new jobs last month. College educated people standing in line to work at McDonald’s? Does no one else see a problem with this? Perhaps, if the Obama administration would stop interfering in business, and concern itself with the duties laid out in the U.S. Constitution, we’d see a growth in our economy, companies could hire new workers, and be able to pay them what they are actually worth for their time. Granted, if you’ve ever been to a fast food place, you’ll know, there are many who are paid the minimum who aren’t even worth a third of that, due to their incompetence, or flat out laziness!
Raise the minimum wage? I don’t freakin’ think so! Instead, someone should take up a bill to LOWER the mandatory wage. A cause and effect would be dramatic when it comes to prices. And doing away with the union thugs would help. too…..one of the biggest contributors to prices increases over the last 40 years.
