2 Timothy 2:10-14

21 August 2011, 10:07 am. 2 Comments. Filed under Faith.

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

Facebook Apologizes for Deleting Arizona Governor’s Post

Facebook issued an apology Saturday for deleting a post by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer that criticized President Obama over his administration’s new policy on prioritizing deportations of illegal immigrants.

Brewer’s picture and a statement that accompanied it were removed Friday from Facebook, apparently because they “violated Facebook community standards.”

If you are on Facebook, you know what a load of crappy crap crap that is!

Brewer, one of the president’s toughest critics on border policy, said the administration’s recent move to launch a case-by-case review of illegal immigrants slated for deportation amounts to an immigration overhaul “via executive fiat.”

“This plan amounts to backdoor amnesty for hundreds of thousands — if not millions — of illegal aliens,” the Republican governor said in a written statement. “We need to remind President Obama that we elected a president that serves beneath the law and did not anoint a king that is above the law.”

Is that, or is it not, the truth? I’d say, yep….she’s speaking the truth.

According to Facebook policy, moderators remove posts when they fall under the categories of threat, bullying and harassment, hate speech, graphic violence, sex and nudity, theft, vandalism or fraud, identity and privacy, intellectual property, phishing and spam.

Governor Brewer’s statement involved no threats, no hate speech, no nudity, so why did FB REALLY delete her post? Well, let’s see…. perhaps it’s because they have turned into Obama’s censors? Considering that they allow Jihadists to spew their hatred and calls for violence against Israel, I think they need to rethink their policies. The 1st Amendment allows us to disagree with the government, whether the left likes it or not. Sure didn’t bother that side to use the 1st to advocate violence the previous president, the murder of military officers, harass and bully anyone who disagrees with them.

Criminal “Guests”

19 August 2011, 6:16 pm. 2 Comments. Filed under Crime.

More than 150 people caught after rioting swept across UK ‘were foreign nationals and will be deported’

Hundreds of foreigners arrested for their part in the riots now face deportation.

Immigration Minister Damian Green has promised foreign rioters and looters will be thrown out of Britain at the ‘earliest opportunity’.

Around 150 of the 2,800 people arrested over the looting and arson attacks were born abroad, according to the UK Border Agency.

Most rational people wouldn’t trash their own home.  Those who do, well, there’s something really wrong with them.  So, you would think, if you are basically a guest in someone’s home, you wouldn’t go out of your way to trash it, right?  Obviously, such a courtesy is no longer the norm.

They include a failed asylum seeker who is accused of looting clothes and cash from a branch of department store BHS in Walthamstow, East London.

Out of complete curiosity, if this guy was a “failed asylum seeker”, why was he still in the country? Shouldn’t he have been deported already? Just wondering.

Yesterday Immigration Minister Damian Green said: ‘We strongly believe that foreign national lawbreakers should be removed from the UK at the earliest opportunity.

Gee, ya think?

‘We also have the power to cancel the visas of foreign nationals found guilty of criminal activity, and this is something we will be looking to do when cases arise.

I should sure hope so! Honestly, if they don’t, then they are bigger wusses than even I thought. Now, if we could just get U.S. officials to take a strong stand about criminal “immigrants”.

Pro-abortion ‘Baptist’ caught in untruths

A speaker at a recent state-sponsored meeting on the Mississippi Personhood Amendment has been exposed as something other than what he claimed to be.

Vincent Lachina attended last week’s meeting in Tupelo, wearing a clerical collar, claiming to have a connection with Mississippi for the Mississippi-only meeting, and stating he was ordained in the Southern Baptist Convention. He spoke against the proposed constitutional amendment (Initiative 26), which will appear on the November ballot.

Clerical collar? Well, that should have been their first clue. I’ve yet to EVER see a Southern Baptist pastor wear a collar, of any kind, other than what comes on their shirts. You’d think folks in Mississippi would have been suspicious right off the bat!  It’s not like there aren’t a lot of Southern Baptists in the SOUTH.  :?

“And as it turns out, he is a homosexual activist and a chaplain for Planned Parenthood out of Seattle, Washington,” states Les Riley, who heads the Personhood Mississippi movement. American Family Association’s Jacob Dawson discovered the truth about Lachina while in the audience and revealed his discovery there.

A baby murdering factory has a chaplain? Of what? Does he sacrifice the babies on the alter of their evil?

Moreover, a subsequent check by Live Action with the Southern Baptist Convention reveals Lachina is not listed as ordained in the SBC.

“… That’s not a surprise,” Riley responds. “You know, I always tell people when I go out and talk about the Personhood Amendment that we have to understand that people who will kill babies for a living, people who will harm women — particularly people like Planned Parenthood with a genocidal agenda — will lie to keep it going.”

The fact that the left lies shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, including the left. I mean, after all, destruction is their stock and trade. Destroy families, destroy babies, destroy economies….the list is long.   And who is the ‘prince of lies’? And who is the king of destruction?  Wonder if this guy is a ‘chaplain’ for him?

Never Quit
The Foundry

Next month, America will honor the anniversary of September 11, 2001, when terrorists  killed nearly 3,000 of our fellow citizens. In the days after 9/11, Americans stood together as one, setting aside partisan fervor and recognized a common enemy in Islamist terrorist groups, particularly al-Qaeda. National security was rightfully restored as our nation’s highest priority.

Ten years later, Osama bin Laden is dead, delivering to victims’ families and the rest of America a bit of justice for the heinous acts we all witnessed. But one terrorist’s death does not justify returning to the national security mindset that existed prior to that day.

As Thomas Paine said, “Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.”

Is This Really Progress?

If I’m making such great knee progress, why does it hurt so much?  :?

Well, that’s what the de Sade twins are telling me, that I’m doing terrific.  I did my exercises while on my little excursion to Texas, so, I wouldn’t think one little session on the torture devises this afternoon would increase the agony this much. Wow. Pain seriously sucks.

And just why did they have to describe, in detail, exactly why there is continuing pain? They gave me a play by play of my surgery. UGH! Did I really want to know? Oh…I don’t flippin’ think so! Sawed off bones…pounded spikes…. JEEEEZ!  I probably should have figured it out, but that’s not something I want to think about. Yeah….I’m a wuss!

Ann on The Mobs

Liberals Aren’t Funny, They’re a Riot!
by Ann Coulter

Like you, I’ve been horrified by the eruptions of mob violence around the globe this summer. But having spent the last two years researching and writing a book about mobs, I’m also grateful to the ruffians for taking to the streets so soon after my book was released.

Thanks, you dirty animals. I knew you wouldn’t let me down.

When I decided to write about mobs, it was a relatively peaceful period. But as long as there is evil in the world, mobs will never be finally defeated. And as long as there are liberals, there will be some people stoking the mobs.

It was only a matter of time, although even I didn’t expect it quite this soon.

Obama Agriculture Secretary: Food Stamps Create Jobs

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack repeated the White House claim that food stamps and other forms of government welfare are stimulus programs in disguise, stating that when government gives out money, it is creating jobs.

The sad thing is, this administration really believes we are ALL as ignorant as his supporters. :?

Defense IS The Priority!

17 August 2011, 10:36 am. 3 Comments. Filed under Opinion.

I can think of billions they could make in cuts, right off the top of my head, and not touch our military.  Cut ALL foreign aid to countries that hate us.  Cut 90% of the government bureaucracies that do nothing but impede.  And that’s just two!

The Spending Threat to Our National Defense
The Foundry

Consider it a warning from the highest levels of the U.S. government. Yesterday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta held a joint press event in Washington in which they cautioned that U.S. debtis jeopardizing America’s ability to ensure national security and preserve its interests abroad.

Under the Budget Control Act of 2011—the debt ceiling agreement enacted earlier this month—$350 billion in cuts to defense spending must be made over 10 years. But if Congress doesn’t reach an agreement on $1.5 trillion in deficit savings, $1.2 trillion in automatic cuts would be made. Half of those would come from the military’s budget by 2013. And Panetta said yesterday that those cuts would be disastrous:

This kind of massive cut across the board, which would literally double the number of cuts that we’re confronting, that would have devastating effects on our national defense; it would have devastating effects on certainly the State Department.

Clinton agreed. “It does cast a pall over our ability to project the kind of security interests that are in America’s interests,” she said. “This is not about the Defense Department or the State Department . . . This is about the United States of America. And we need to have a responsible conversation about how we are going to prepare ourselves for the future.”

Yep! I have returned home, and basically, I’m in one piece. Tuckered, cuz that’s how us folks get, even with short spurts of driving. Although, today turned out to be a bit longer than I thought it would, but that’s ok….I get to recuperate, at least until the doc’s appointment tomorrow…and then physical therapy. :?   Hope I’ll be able to make it to church.  I need my infusion.  :D

And just think….I get to make ANOTHER 700 mile trip next week…in the opposite direction! Somebody…just go ahead and shoot me now.

Obama’s Tour of Denial and Blame
The Foundry

It’s being billed as a listening tour—a three-state journey across the Midwest where President Barack Obama will hear directly from Americans about the economy and talk about his ideas for job growth. Instead, though, it has the characteristics of a political campaign swing, and the rhetoric the President has brought along for the ride is marked by a desperate effort to blame someone other than himself for America’s economic woes.

The President’s tour began yesterday in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, where in one breath he pointed his finger at Washington’s broken politics and in the next he blamed “a string of bad luck … a bunch of things taking place over the last six months that were not within our control.”

You had an Arab Spring in the Middle East that promises more democracy and more human rights for people, but it also drove up gas prices — tough for the economy, a lot of uncertainty.  And then you have the situation in Europe, where they’re dealing with all sorts of debt challenges, and that washes up on our shores.  And you had a tsunami in Japan, and that broke supply chains and created difficulties for the economy all across the globe.

As much as the President would like to bill his three-state tour as an exhibition in listening or leadership, it’s more of an exercise in cognitive dissonance—of blaming everything but his own policies for the reality of America’s dire economic straits, rather than taking responsibility for his presidency.
