Destruction of Hatred
Apparently, it has never occurred to this clown that the reason there are so many blacks in poverty is because the Democrats have introduced so many programs to keep blacks in chains. They’re invisible chains, but chains, none the less. The black family unit has been demolished by such programs. Education is no longer a priority for many young blacks. If young black kids work hard in school, they are ridiculed. The current culture in the black community alienates them from the rest of society. This guy, and many like him, do more damage to the black community.
We are all Americans, no matter the color of your skin. Shouldn’t we stand together against a common enemy…oppression of all peoples? I am not this man’s enemy, although he apparently thinks so, and he is convincing too many that I, and those like me are the enemy. We must fights such racism that breeds hatred and fear. I had hoped that we had moved beyond such bigotry, but thanks to the Obama administration, we are more divided than ever. I can only prayer that people will use the sense that God gave them, and realize it is past time to blame others for their own short comings, promoted by people like this.

Survived Another One
This is the weekend of Daryll Worley’s Tennessee River Run. It’s also a day I had to go to physical therapy. Naturally, they shut down Main Street, so all traffic going into Savannah has to take Water Street. Ever sat on top of a bridge for a good five minutes? Nice view of the Tennessee River. Needless to say, I was late for my appointment. But that’s ok. I took ‘em some Wisconsin baby Swiss, and they forgave me. 
I did a whole THREE miles on the bike that goes nowhere today. Yay me! I was bound and determined to do it, and yep….I’m sure paying for it now. sigh… But I did it!! 
Then there was the 50 pound leg pushes. All 40 of ‘em. Then we have the break the knee exercise! That’s when one of the de Sade triplets pushes my foot as close to my hinder as possible. We don’t like that one! Not one single bit! But I managed to get to 128, gritting teeth, holding breath, and refraining from kicking said de Sade brother in the head with the free foot! Then we have the leg lifts with a four pound weight. Doesn’t sound like much, but lemme tell ya, it feels like a WHOLE lot more when you don’t have the strength ya use to. 
The last is scooting around on a stool, using only the affected leg. Pull forward across the room, push backwards to where ya started. VROOM VROOM! So much fun. 
I had actually considered going back to town this evening to check out the concert and see the 9/11 Rolling Memorial Truck….
….but y’know….I just don’t think I could handle hunting a parking place, all the walking that would be necessary to get to Main Street, and that masses of people. I hurt! sigh… And the Mr doesn’t much care for crowds either. Oh well. Perhaps we’ll consider heading out to Pickwick State Park tomorrow to see it. Doubtful, but ya never know.

President Barack Obama’s solution for America’s unemployment woes has been a stubborn campaign to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on economic “stimulus”–much of it on so-called “green jobs.” Report after report has shown the approach to be a total failure. And now, a new scandal involving Solyndra, a bankrupt solar panel company in California, should be the final nail in the coffin for the government’s meddling in the free market.
“[W]e can see the positive impacts [of the stimulus] right here at Solyndra,” Obama claimed when he spoke at the company’s newly unveiled factory in May of last year. He was correct that the results of his stimulus would be on display at that factory. But he was wrong that those results would be positive. Little more than a year later, the company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plans to lay off more than 1,000 employees.

Husband hits out at Palin sex, cocaine claims
Sarah Palin’s husband jumped to her defense Thursday after an upcoming book claimed the Republican politician snorted cocaine off an oil drum and had a premarital fling with an African-American basketball star.
“The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin” by Joe McGinniss — who moved in next to Palin’s home in Alaska last year as part of his research — comes out Tuesday, as the Tea Party darling ponders whether to formally seek the Republican presidential nomination.
“This is a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door to us to harass us and spy on us to satisfy his creepy obsession with my wife,” husband Todd Palin said.
“His book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo, and smears,” he added in a statement carried by several US news media and political blogs.
“Even the New York Times called this book ‘dated, petty,’ and that it ‘chases caustic, unsubstantiated gossip.’”
Citing unnamed “publishing sources,” the National Enquirer said McGinniss claims in the book that Palin had “a steamy interracial hookup” with Glen Rice less than a year before she and Todd Palin eloped in 1988.
Ya know what? I don’t care! I don’t care if she had a one night stand with Santa Claus. Kind of shoots down that “Tea Party racist” nonsense, doesn’t it. I don’t care if she snorted a bit of coke, or got stoned and danced naked in the woods. It makes not one bit of difference to me, one way or the other. And it shouldn’t matter what Sarah Palin did in her youth to anyone else either. Name me ONE person who didn’t do something stupid when they were young! I know I did a LOT of really stupid things in my younger years. So what! I am not the same person I was then, I grew up. Mrs Palin grew up too, and she has been a positive voice.
Do I think she should run for president? No, I do not. I think she is a strong voice for conservatism, and should use her voice to unite folks for whoever becomes the Republican nominee.
McGinniss has managed to make an ass of himself. Typical for a libtard stalker.

US told: support Palestinian UN bid or risk ‘toxic’ reputation in Arab world
A former head of Saudi Arabian intelligence and ex-ambassador to Washington, Turki al-Faisal, has warned that an American veto of Palestinian membership of the United Nations would end the “special relationship” between the two countries, and make the US “toxic” in the Arab world.
The warning comes as Washington is scrambling to avoid a scenario where it alone casts a veto in the UN security council against the Palestinian bid for recognition of statehood, which is expected to be formally requested next week. The US is putting considerable pressure on the Palestinians not to submit the request, and on Britain – the only other permanent member of the security council that has not publicly supported the Palestinian request – to also exercise its veto if necessary.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t much care being threatened by a guy named after a butt ugly flightless bird, or anyone else for that matter. I see this as a line in the sand, and as far as I’m concerned, he can pound that sand!
I suppose they’re going to turn off the oil spigot if we don’t comply with their wishes? Fine. The price of a gallon of gas will shoot up, food prices will go sky high, and there will be peasants with pitchforks and torches at the door of the White House, demanding we drill right here, right now! We have plenty of oil right within the borders of the good ol’ U.S. of A. and it’s past time we make use of OUR resources! Yeah, fine…keep examining that “green” nonsense. Someday, it might even be worth it, but it ain’t there yet, and that should be obvious to anyone with half a brain.
There should NEVER be a “Palestinian State”! Why? Because if they give in on this, then the next step will be to totally destroy the State of Israel, and that is completely unacceptable! As a matter of fact, I believe all the land that God gave to His people should be returned ASAP! That is a LOT of land y’know. And I think the Israelis have been more than tolerant towards the evil that has plagued them.

Americans of my generation are not as surprised, as a lot of Americans these days, at the state of our nation. We saw this coming as far back as fifty years ago. Look about you today. THIS is what the glorious “sixties” has wrought.
The Hippies, the Flower Children, the Pot Heads, the whole scraggly, long haired, dope smoking lot of them – now run every consarned thing!
We are just now beginning to pry them out of our government, but the damage they have done to America will take generations to repair.
Remember their communes, and collectives? They took those socialist ideas right into our state and national legislatures. Now we are paying the price.

This is definitely not the same country I was born in. I’ve watched the changes. I don’t like the changes. I’m one lone voice, joined by millions of other lone voices, we can turn the tide. But as J.D. says, it won’t be over night. Returning to our roots is going to take a lot of hard work, determination, and it does NOT involved ‘compromise’. There can be NO compromise on principles!
Contrary to what the liberals insist, this country was founded on Judeo-Christian values. Thanks to the fecklessness of those now in power, we have lost our way. Until we return to those values, we will continue our decline into the cesspool of socialism.

Gibson Guitar chief says feds want to talk
The head of Nashville music instrument company Gibson Guitars says federal officials have asked to meet with owners of the company next week, following a raid last month.
IMHO, the feds have a LOT of explaining to do. I haven’t heard that they’ve raided Martin, so this looks very much like a political target to me.
Federal officials have declined further comment on an ongoing investigation.
OH, I just bet they have! Considering the fact the India has been doing the exporting, and it’s those woods that seem to be at the center of this whole fiasco. Once again, the Obama administration looks like the incompetents they are.

It’s been one week since President Barack Obama announced his latest “stimulus” plan, and despite a cross-country road show aimed at selling his proposals to the American people, the commander in chief is finding that his message of more taxes and spending isn’t hitting home. Meanwhile, House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) has outlined a markedly different way to help the U.S. economy get back on track.
According to a new National Journal/United Technologies poll, only one in six Americans think that the President’s plan will decrease unemployment “a lot,” while one-quarter doubted that the plan would affect unemployment at all. Then there are the 39 percent who think that the President’s policies have made unemployment even worse (twice as many as those who say he’s made unemployment better). Now The New York Times is raining on the President’s parade, too, reporting that Democrats are “balking at Obama’s jobs bill” and “say there is little chance they will be able to support the bill as a single entity, citing an array of elements they cannot abide.”

Liberals are on their high horses about a single audience member at CNN’s Republican debate whom they believe wanted a hypothetical man without health insurance in a hypothetical coma to die — hypothetically.
(Democrats want people in comas to die only when they are not hypothetical but real, like Terri Schiavo.)
I concur with the audience member who shouted “Yes!” This has nothing to do with any actual people in comas — the people Democrats want to kill — it’s just a big “screw you” to the moderator.
Following up on Brian Williams’ showboating questions at last week’s Republican debate about the execution of the innocent and starving children with distended stomachs, this week, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer launched his question about an imaginary comatose man without health insurance.
As Rep. Ron Paul began to discuss the pitfalls of collectivism, Blitzer kept interrupting him, concluding with, “But Congressman, are you saying that society should just let him die?”

White House Official Compares Illegal Immigration to Jaywalking
Cecilia Munoz, the White House director of intergovernmental affairs, compared the federal crime of being in the country illegally to jaywalking.
Say whut?
“If you were running the police department of any urban area in this country, you would spend more resources going after serious criminals than after jaywalkers. DHS (the Department of Homeland Security) is doing the immigration equivalent of the same thing,” Munoz told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) conference on Monday.
I guess the administration doesn’t consider breaking and entering, and theft a crime? Well, I do. Considering the BILLIONS of dollars stolen from the LEGAL taxpayers to educate, provide healthcare, and any number of benefits that SHOULD be reserved for LEGAL citizens and residents.
Under the new policy, immigration officials will prioritize deportation orders, acting only on those involving people convicted of serious crimes or those who pose a national security or public safety threat.
Personally, I believe breaking into someone’s home is a pretty serious crime, and the cost of supporting so many ILLEGALS is DEFINITELY criminal!
The memo also directs ICE agents to consider how long an individual has been in the U.S., whether that person has a spouse or children who are U.S. citizens, and whether that person has a serious criminal record. Crimes victims, witnesses to crimes, or people who are charged with minor traffic violations, would avoid deportation under the ICE guidance.
I don’t give a flying flip if the individual has been here for 40 years! What part of ILLEGAL does this administration not understand?
Munoz said the administration is acting within its authority – “but we also all understand that even as we use our administrative authority, make the right enforcement judgments, it is not the permanent solution for anybody, it doesn’t solve our immigration problems. In order to do that, we need the Congress of the United States.”
If this administration was serious about solving the ILLEGAL invasion, they might consider living up to their oaths of office, and enforce the laws of the land, instead of turning a blind eye. It’s obvious the security and well being of LEGAL residents is not a priority for the Obama administration, any more than it was for Bush’s.
“We have 10 million, 11 million undocumented people in this country and it’s abundantly clear to anybody who’s paying attention that we’re not going to deport that entire population,” said Munoz.
Why not? And I’d have to say, that number is pretty low.
“It’s not humanly possible. It’s ridiculously expensive…and so what DHS is doing for the first time is trying to have a strategy around the law-enforcement work that it does, and so while it’s enforcing the law vigorously, as [Congressman Luis Gutierrez] points out, it’s also making strategic judgments about who is a priority for enforcement and who isn’t.”
And it’s not expensive having so many millions of criminals roaming our streets?

Have you seen the latest Obama effort to silence critics? 1st Amendment be damned, full slime ahead!
Just one example you’ll find on their site is the issue of Israel. The claim that Obama is no friend to Israel is pretty easy to prove by his 1967 borders speech, and his odd support for Muslims who have vowed the destruction of Israel. However, this site will give you all kinds of examples of speeches made by fellow politicians (choosing only the “good” snippets, and leaving out any criticism). However, I didn’t notice them quoting Benjamin Netanyahu. Wonder why?
I would suggest to these Obama acolytes that perhaps they should use real sources of news, instead of relying on such far left sites, supported by George Soros, as Media Matters and Think Progress.
Honestly, I see this as just more Obama pettiness. Liberalism really IS a mental disorder.

While opinions about America’s post–9/11 policies come and go, facts remain: The U.S. has thwarted 40 terrorist plots through an aggressive and prioritized plan of offense to protect America. That is not a plan to abandon now, in an age of increasingly high-tech terrorism.
As John Yoo, a former official in the U.S. Department of Justice between 2001–2003, said yesterday at The Heritage Foundation, “The most important thing to happen in the U.S. in the last 10 years was nothing… the most important question to ask is why and whether it was worth it.”
Now a legal scholar, Yoo bared his thoughts in a new, multi-authored book of essays on the 9/11 tragedy and its aftermath, Confronting Terror. The book includes reflections from a variety of notable figures on issues like presidential authority during a time of war, enforced interrogation, and other controversial issues.
