Baby Murderers Plead Guilty

Two Clinic Workers Plead Guilty to Murder in Philadelphia Abortion Case

A pair of abortion clinic workers pleaded guilty Thursday to third-degree murder in two deaths at a Philadelphia clinic where seven babies were allegedly killed with scissors and a woman died from a drug overdose.

Andrea Moton admitted her involvement in the death of one baby. Sherry West pleaded guilty in the February 2009 death of Karnamaya Mongar, a Bhutanese immigrant. Neither women had formal training to work at the clinic in Philadelphia run by Dr. Kermit Gosnell.

Gosnell and nine employees, including his wife, were charged earlier this year after a gory grand jury report detailed the conditions at the West Philadelphia clinic where Gosnell allegedly performed illegal late-term abortions and babies born alive were killed by having scissors stabbed into their necks to sever their spinal cords.

What kind of person could do such a thing to an innocent baby?  One with no moral compass, no conscience, no humanity!  Whether the child is in the womb, or has come out, it is still a human being, and yes, it IS murder!

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee,
and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Government IS The Problem

What is the American Idea?
The Foundry

What is the American idea? That all depends on whom you ask. According to President Barack Obama, it’s the notion that the federal government is the answer to America’s problems, and that through its intervention–by sheer force of spending–it can create a brighter future for all Americans.

There’s a different view, though, that has again found its voice in the past year. It’s the idea that America is at its best when its people are allowed to be free and produce, not thanks to the government or even in spite of it, but on their own merit and initiative. Yesterday, those two competing visions were on display–the former delivered in Denver by President Obama, and the latter in Washington at The Heritage Foundation by House Budget Committee chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI).

Ann on Liberal Idiocy

If I Were a Liberal…
by Ann Coulter

If I were a liberal, I would have spent the last week in shock that a Democratic audience in Flint, Mich., cheered Vice President Joe Biden’s description of a policeman being killed. (And if I were a liberal desperately striving to keep my job on MSNBC, I’d say the Democrats looked “hot and horny” for dead cops — as Chris Matthews? said of a Republican audience that cheered for the death penalty.)

Biden’s audience whooped and applauded last week in Flint when he said that without Obama’s jobs bill, police will be “outgunned and outmanned.” (Wild applause!)

I suppose liberals would claim they were applauding because they believe Obama’s jobs bill will prevent these murders. Which reminds me: Republicans believe the death penalty prevents murders!

Which belief bears more relationship to reality?

Muslims at Catholic University complain that the school is too Catholic

As JihadWatch notes, crucifixes hung in a classroom at the Catholic University — a private university in Washington, D.C. — are apparently now considered a violation of Muslim students’ human rights.

Excuse me, but no one is forcing them to attend a CATHOLIC university!  Don’t like it?  Go your sorry selves to a school in Saudi Arabia!  It is a PRIVATE university!  I am so utterly fed up with the whining muzzies!

Obama’s Goal: Weaken The U.S.

The Serious Risks of the Russian Reset
The Foundry

President Obama may believe that America’s “reset” policy with Russia is the correct move to cover important foreign policy bases, but the policy is deeply flawed. It puts the United States at a disadvantage we can’t afford and forces us to lay aside fundamental American principles of human liberty.

The “reset” concessions are simply not worth the exchange of empty promises from Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who is merely a talking head for Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. As Heritage’s Ariel Cohen & Kim Holmes wrote recently in a memo on U.S.–Russia Relations, Putin would like nothing less than a “Soviet-like superpower prestige and status through forced nuclear equality with Washington.”

Police arrest 75 protesters at Oakland’s City Hall

Police in riot gear cleared anti-Wall Street protesters on Tuesday morning from the plaza in front of Oakland’s City Hall where they had been camping for about two weeks, prompting health and safety concerns among city officials.

Seventy-five people were arrested, mostly on suspicion of misdemeanor illegal lodging, as hundreds of officers and sheriff’s deputies from more than a dozen agencies went into the encampment with tear gas and beanbag rounds around 5 a.m., police said.

Aren’t these the types who are concerned with saving the planet, yada yada yada. Then why would they create a health hazard for the city? Hmmm… Unless they are actually phonies? Hey….that might be it!

One of those arrested, Aiyahnna Johnson, 30, of Oakland, had been living at the camp with her 2-year-old daughter. “We want the best for you guys, that’s all,” she was quoted by the San Francisco Chronicle telling two officers who were leading her away.

Seriously? You took your two year old child out in that mess? Another ‘mother of the year’ contestant!

The police action in Oakland began around 4:40 a.m. when an officer on a loud speaker told the protesters they were illegally blocking the plaza and were subject to arrest, according to the Chronicle. The newspaper reported that several hundred people appeared ready to defend the camp about an hour before police moved in, placing Dumpsters, boards, pallets and even metal police-style barricades around the plaza.

Anthony Owens, 40, of Oakland, said some people in the camp left as word spread about possible police action. The remaining protesters locked arms and shouted as officers moved in from four corners, Owens said.

Jordan said authorities fired tear gas after being pelted with rocks, bottles and utensils from people in the camp’s kitchen area. The person shot with a beanbag was reaching into a trashcan to pick up bottles, he said.

Whoa. Wait a minute. Didn’t mommy dearest say “we only want the best for you”? Does the best include pelting the officers with rocks and bottles? I guess it all depends on your point of view, eh?

City officials had originally been supportive of the protesters, with Oakland Mayor Jean Quan saying that sometimes “democracy is messy.”

Yeah…democracy IS messy. That’s why we don’t have a democracy ya putz! Say it with me now…. R E P U B L I C!

But the city later warned the protesters that they were breaking the law and could not stay in the encampment overnight.

They cited concerns about rats, fire hazards, public urination and acts of violence at the site, which had grown to more than 150 tents and included health, child-care and kitchen areas.

Obviously, the city figured out that “democracy” is also nasty, creating health and safety issues.

“Many Oaklanders support the goals of the national Occupy Wall Street movement,” Mayor Jean Quan said in a statement on Tuesday. “However, over the last week it was apparent that neither the demonstrators nor the City could maintain safe or sanitary conditions or control the ongoing vandalism.”

Well, this is California, so supporting socialism and communism isn’t all that far out of the realm of possibilities. Lord knows, that state isn’t exactly known for its common sense.

There were reports of a sex assault and a severe beating and fire and paramedics were denied access to the camp, according to city officials, who said they had also received numerous complaints of intimidating and threatening behavior.

And D’Bama compares this type of behavior to the Tea Parties? I don’t bleepin’ think so!

Protesters over the weekend said although there were some troublemakers in the group, the vast majority were peaceful.

Well, what do ya expect ‘em to say? “We’re all Kumbaya, peace lovin’, law abidin’?” They certainly won’t ever admit, even to themselves, they are mostly clueless, and extremely destructive.

Owens said the protesters plan to try to retake the plaza at some point. Asked whether they would be discouraged by the loss of the encampment, Owens said, “I think it’s going to fire up people even more.”

Oh sure, the ill informed, and the uninformed, will probably join the clueless and classless. I just hope the city of Oakland has enough sense to tell these spoiled brats to go the hell home, take a shower, and take care of your own business.

“We Can’t Wait” To Say Goodbye!

We Can’t Wait Either, Mr. President
The Foundry

Take a stroll through your neighborhood Occupy Wall Street protest–whether it’s in New York or Chicago, Detroit or San Francisco–and you’re likely to see a recurring theme emblazoned across cardboard signs: redistribute wealth from the 1 percent to the 99 percent, all in the name of fairness, whether or not it makes good policy. Or if you want to hear that message without fighting the crowds, you could save yourself some time, turn on the TV, and tune in to President Barack Obama’s latest campaign swing across America, this time titled “We Can’t Wait.”

“I’m here to say that we can’t wait for an increasingly dysfunctional Congress to do its job. Where they won’t act, I will,” President Obama proclaimed in Las Vegas, Nevada. “There is no excuse for the games and gridlock we’ve seen in Washington. Where we don’t have to wait for Congress, we’re just going to go ahead and act on our own.” The actions the President is proposing? More money for “underwater” mortgages and a yet-to-be-announced student loan initiative.

Libya’s liberation: interim ruler unveils more radical than expected plans for Islamic law

Mustafa Abdul-Jalil, the chairman of the National Transitional Council and de fact president, had already declared that Libyan laws in future would have Sharia, the Islamic code, as its “basic source”.

But that formulation can be interpreted in many ways – it was also the basis of Egypt’s largely secular constitution under President Hosni Mubarak, and remains so after his fall.

Mr Abdul-Jalil went further, specifically lifting immediately, by decree, one law from Col. Gaddafi’s era that he said was in conflict with Sharia – that banning polygamy.

In a blow to those who hoped to see Libya’s economy integrate further into the western world, he announced that in future bank regulations would ban the charging of interest, in line with Sharia. “Interest creates disease and hatred among people,” he said.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I saw this coming a mile away!  Obviously, there are some in positions of power who are so utterly clueless, they would send troops in to help the rebels overthrow a dictator (which is a good thing) and yet be surprised when they find out those rebels don’t want democracy, they want even MORE oppression under sharia (which is a bad thing).

When are people going to snap out of their stupor?  Islam and democracy do NOT mix.  We believe in equal treatment under the law.  Well, their “law” is anything BUT equal.

Unless of course you are a non muslim, and then it’s pretty equal….folks equally getting their heads whacked off,or blown up, or any number of manner of death that the muslims can think up.

Obama’s Iraq Failure
The Foundry

To hear President Barack Obama describe the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, you’d think it was a long-anticipated political victory, the fruition of a promise he made when campaigning for the White House. But his announcement last week that American troops in Iraq will return by the end of the year is a result of a serious Obama Administration failure that will undermine U.S. security interests in the Middle East.
