“Content Of Character”

The words Dr King spoke to those who braved the heat, and the possibility of violence, still ring true. Would Dr King be pleased with the state of the country today? I can’t read minds, but I would have to say yes, and no. Every child now has the opportunity to succeed, yet almost every child has been restrained by the public indoctrination system, with false information. Through hard word, and determination, ANYONE can succeed! Sadly, there are those who continue to blame others for their own failures. I don’t think Dr King would approve of those who have taken his message and twisted it into something it was never meant to be.

By the way, Dr King was a Republican because it was the Republicans who fought hard for every Civil Rights bill that came down the pike. If it weren’t for Dr King, and the Republicans, there would never have been a Barack Hussein Obama in the White House. Think about that! Don’t believe me? Check this out!

FNC’s Rivera Slams ‘Hypocrite’ Romney as ‘Most Virulent Anti-Illegal Immigration Person’

As he appeared on the Friday, January 13, The O’Reilly Factor, FNC’s Geraldo Rivera complained that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney never mentions that his father, George Romney, was born in Mexico while campaigning as the “most virulent anti-illegal immigration person” and ended up calling the former Massachusetts governor a “hypocrite.”
(…)
GERALDO RIVERA: In 2007 to 2008, 2011 to 2012, thousands of campaign appearances, the most virulent anti-illegal immigration-

BILL O’REILLY: He’s tough on it.

RIVERA: -person ever, never once mentions that his father was born in Mexico, and his grandfather was born in Mexico, he is a hypocrite-

O’REILLY: Oh, now you go off the rails!

RIVERA: How do you talk about illegal immigration of Mexicans-

O’REILLY: It doesn’t matter.

RIVERA: -and you don’t say once-

O’REILLY: I was, look, my people are from Ireland, and I didn’t like what the IRA did.

RIVERA: But I hear that you’re from Ireland all the time and your people are from Ireland all the time. How can you talk about all these Mexicans and never mention that your father is one of them and your grandfather is one of them?

Geraldo Rivera is a moron.  Plain and simple.  I’m no big fan of Romney, but for the love of pete, does Geraldo have to prove over and over again just how stupid he is?  So, Romney is “anti-illegal immigrant”.  And your point?  The MAJORITY of Americans are anti-illegal invaders!  Well, Rivera has no problem with people breaking into our country, using resources that could be put to better use for LEGAL residents, you know the type….those who are actually BORN in this country, and those who actually followed the rules, and came here LEGALLY.

Romney’s grandfather was born in the U.S.  He was born in the U.S.  So, what’s the problem?  Grandpa brought his son back to the U.S.  So what does that have to do with the price of jalapeos in Tiajuana?  Doesn’t Rivera always whine about kids being born here to illegal invaders?  Talk about hypocritical!

Fiscally and Morally Bankrupt

Help wanted, a president who knows how to manage
By Thomas A. Schatz

“Huge organization with serious financial management problems seeks a CEO to make tough decisions in order to avoid bankruptcy.” The federal government should be running this want ad in response to the Government Accountability Office’s (GAO) annual audit of federal agency financial statements, released last month. As it has for many years, the GAO concluded that it cannot express an opinion on the statements because of weak internal financial controls and unreliable evidence to support material information.

In other words, the government’s financial reporting is so abysmal no one can tell taxpayers exactly how their money is being spent. That’s aside from the fact that the nation’s current fiscal path is unsustainable.

Read the entire column here.

Can you imagine a private business being run the way the federal government has been run?  Said private business would have gone the way of the do-do a LONG time ago.  Yet, we have had so called leadership, year after year, decade after decade, that has driven this country (business) into the ground.  Members of BOTH parties have been playing politics with our future freedom, spending our children’s future on useless programs, driving us into the dirt.  It’s past time to put a stop to their destructive behavior!

Sharing The Joy

When I saw this commercial, my first thought was…”WOW! This is great! Isn’t it time the message spread to everyone?” I know there are people who get their knickers in a twist at any mention of God, Jesus, and faith in public. But personally, I think they have a lot of issues that need to be overcome. I can only guess they are very unhappy people, and get bent out of shape whenever other show their joy in their faith. Sad. I guess some folks just like being miserable, and want everyone else to be miserable as well. Welp, too bad, cuz I have a LOT of joy. :P

Dr King’s True Legacy

16 January 2012, 8:38 am. Comments Off. Filed under Opinion.

Personal opinion: If Dr King saw the poverty pimps (examples: Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Charles Rangel, and yes, even Barack Obama), making their living off of keeping others from success, I honestly believe he would be appalled!

Life-Changing Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Foundry

The greatest tribute to the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr., is not to name a street in his honor or celebrate a national holiday. It is to recognize and support those who are working to carry out his vision, those who empower those facing the greatest obstacles through personal relationships that restore the fabric of civil society—without the need for federal government intervention.

As former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Jack Kemp once said, “We need an anti-poverty agenda based on democratic capitalism, not socialism and on private ownership, not government control. Our definition of compassion is not how many people live on the government welfare plantation, but how many of our people are liberated from government dependence.”

Among those ranks of individuals who are carrying out Dr. King’s vision are three young men—Curtis Monroe, Michael Toland, and Roger Marshall—who give their time, talents, and earnings from their day jobs serving as coaches and mentors of at-risk youths in the Benning Terrace public housing development in Washington, D.C.
