Obama blames press for his ‘cold and aloof’ image
President Obama blames the press for creating the image that he’s aloof and disconnected from the rest of Washington, insisting in a new interview that he’s just more interested in spending time with his family than in exchanging pleasantries with strangers.
“My suspicion is that this whole critique has to do with the fact that I don’t go to a lot of Washington parties and, as a consequence, the Washington press corps maybe just doesn’t feel like I’m in the mix enough with them, and they figure, well, if I’m not spending time with them, I must be cold and aloof,” Obama said in an interview with Time Magazine released Thursday.
The dude is so out of touch with reality, I can’t imagine him ever taking responsibility for his own short comings.

Old News
That was then, this is now. What happened in someone’s past is between him/her and God. If God has forgiven him, it’s not up to me to condemn him.

Gov. signs bill allowing homeowners to legally kill intruders
Gov. Scott Walker has signed a bill that allows homeowners to legally kill intruders.
The bill, nicknamed the “Castle Doctrine,” creates a presumption of legal immunity for someone who kills or injures a person breaking into his or her home, vehicle or workplace. The measure requires a judge to presume that the use of deadly force was necessary.
IMHO, this should never even be an issue. If someone is breaking into your home, it’s a pretty safe bet they aren’t there for tea and crumpets!
Exodus 22:2 If the thief is found breaking in, and he is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt for his bloodshed.
Ezekiel 33:5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.
I had a very dear friend who was attacked in her own bedroom by a man with a knife. His intent was to kill her after….. If she had had a weapon, odds are, she would not have come so close to death, and lost a kidney. She is now permitted to carry at weapon at all times, even before carry was allowed in the state where she was living at the time, but if she had been able to prior to the attack?
And Then There Were Four…

Rick Perry will drop out of the presidential race Thursday and endorse Newt Gingrich, Fox News confirms, a decision that comes just two days before the South Carolina Republican primary.
The decision comes after the Texas governor, who once led the field of GOP hopefuls, endured disappointing finishes in the leadoff Iowa and New Hampshire contests. While he is polling only in single digits in South Carolina, his decision to withdraw could end up giving a boost to one of his opponents should his supporters gravitate toward a particular candidate.
To be honest, I’m rather sorry he is dropping out. He wasn’t my first choice, but I could have easily supported him if he won the nomination. There are many who worked very hard in supporting him, getting the word out about his stance on many different issues, and I’ve no doubt they are feeling more than just a bit down this morning.
I am rather surprised that he is throwing his support behind Gingrich though. I would have thought if he was that socially conservative, he would have picked Santorum, considering he actually won Iowa, not Romney. I can’t really count New Hampshire, because, well, that’s New England, and they just don’t see things the way the rest of us do up in that area.
Just goes to show, ya never can tell.
Considering the bitter ex-wife fiasco ahead, I would have thought… Why is that some women just can’t let the past go?
Now, if Paul would drop out as well, we MIGHT have a better chance in November. No doubt, he is going to hang in there, split the vote, and the party, and we’ll end up with four more years of destruction.
