……. Rick Santorum!
Yep, I watched the debate. I don’t know why they don’t just call ‘em the Mitt and Newt show! Those two made total asses of themselves, bickering like kids on the playground, egged on by the supposed ‘debate moderator’, Wolf Blitzer. Jiminy crickets! Santorum, on the other hand, appeared to be the only grown up on the stage, followed by….believe it or not….Ron Paul. Sadly, Dr Paul is still a fruitcake on foreign policy, but he did have some great one liners.
Personally, I think both Gringrich and Romney have forgotten the purpose of having a primary…and that is to find the best candidate who can mop the floor with the pretender in chief, and do the utmost to save this country! It’s not all about them. It’s about our nation, and I, for one, am pretty fed up with their antics! I am losing what respect I had for both of them. They talk about leadership, and yet behave like spoiled children! We already have a spoiled brat in the White House! We damn sure don’t need another one! My suggestion to both of them….well, ALL four of ‘em,but especially those two…. stop attacking each other, and go after the real target…. the Marxist SOB! I’m fairly sure I’m not the only one who is fed up with their theatrics!
You might expect Tennessee’s senators to clash with President Barack Obama on most of their congressional votes.
After all, Republican Sens. Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker are no fans of the president’s policies.
After the president’s State of the Union address Tuesday, Alexander nicknamed the nation’s economic doldrums the “Obama economy,” and according to Bloomberg, Corker told its next-day breakfast panel the speech signaled “that for the next year we’re really not going to do much.”
But Alexander and Corker voted in line with Obama’s positions 63 percent and 61 percent of the time last year, respectively — more often than all but a few other Republican senators.
I know I can’t be the only person in the state of Tennessee who KNOWS we need new Senators! Last go round, I couldn’t, in good conscience, vote for Alexander. I didn’t vote for the other guy either. I just left it blank. This time, Corker is up for re-election, and once again, unless we have someone who actually reflects the values of Tennesseans, instead of the elites of D.C., I won’t be able to cast my vote for him either!
I honestly wish we could find a CONSERVATIVE primary challenger. I have asked at least one person I know who would make a great Senator, but he has other obligations right now. Perhaps Marsha Blackburn could challenge him? At least she hasn’t fallen so far into the trap of D.C. insider politics, she can’t see the light! Hmm…. I wonder if Stacey Campfield would be up for the challenge? Just a thought!
How can we have any trust in our representatives who vote so overwhelmingly WITH a man/child whose sole purpose seems to be the destruction of our nation? The answer is quite simple. We can’t.
“First of all, I don’t put people on food stamps. People become eligible for food stamps. Second of all, the initial expansion of food-stamp eligibility happened under my Republican predecessor, not under me. Number three, when you have a disastrous economic crash that results in 8 million people losing their jobs, more people are going to need more support from government.”
People become eligible because of HIS policies! Please look closely at this chart. How this clown can even make the claims he does, is beyond me. The man/child has no business being in the White House. He had no business holding ANY public office. He has NO clue what works, and what doesn’t. He does NOT need another four years to finish the job. His “job” is nothing more than complete destruction of our country! I MIGHT have a little bit of respect for the kid if he ever….EVER….took responsibility for his own actions. Since he won’t…..

And make no mistake about it…we ARE at war! We will be at war for many years to come. It’s just not the type of war we have become accustomed to in years past. We have a boy pretending to do a man’s job, and the nation will suffer for it!
A Slashed and Burned Military
The future is not bright for the U.S. military. Yesterday, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta gave America a glimpse of the half-trillion dollars in defense spending cuts requested by the Obama Administration and detailed how the U.S. military’s capabilities would be affected in practical terms. The result is a slashed and burned military that woefully lacks the forces it needs to meet America’s security challenges on a global scale.
On the ground, in the sea, and in the air, American forces will shrink drastically — the Army will shrink by 72,000 people, the active Marine Corps will be reduced by 20,000, the Air Force will see six tactical fighter squadrons de-established while an additional training fighter squadron will be eliminated, the next-generation F-35 Join Strike Fighter procurement will be slowed, and the Navy will retire seven cruisers and two amphibious ships at an early juncture while delaying the procurements of new ships. To put these cuts in context, we are returning to ground forces levels we had under President Bill Clinton when the Army strained and scrambled to execute smaller missions like Kosovo and Bosnia–let alone significant ground force operations.
