Uncle Ted’s Take On The Candidates

Tale of the GOP tape
It’s Newt or Mitt – take your pick
by Ted Nugent

Here is how I see the GOP primary race shaping up: This is by no means an endorsement of any of the four GOP candidates. I am impressed with each of them for a variety of reasons and adamantly believe that any one of them would be monstrously superior to President Obama, who has charted a course for the destruction of America as we know it.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has excellent oratory skills and would give Mr. Obama fits in a debate. Mr. Gingrich is also a deep thinker who has proposed and continues to advance ideas that are not heard of or widely endorsed in the swamps of Washington. This is all very good. Newt and his ideas are exactly what the capital needs if we are going to turn America around. Newt is a polarizing figure who many moderate Americans and even some conservatives may be hesitant to support. There is, however, time to turn that perception around but it will be hard since many feel that Newt’s die has already been cast.

Occupy VS Tea Party

No, the Occupy “movement” is NOTHING like the Tea Party. There are NO similarities, unless you count people gathering together in a specific place. That’s about it!

Nothing like a visual aid to put it all in perspective.

Deja Vu All Over Again

Romney wins Florida primary prize, Gingrich pledges drawn-out battle

Mitt Romney heads into the next phase of the Republican presidential nominating contest carrying a big win under his belt, after reasserting his frontrunner status with a crushing victory over Newt Gingrich in Florida.

However, Romney and the rest of the Republican candidates will have to fine-tune their approach as they enter the bevy of contests scattered all across the country in February, starting in Nevada this Saturday.

Didn’t we suffer a resounding defeat because the RNC decided it was John McCain’s “turn” back in 2008? And yet…here we go again. Having a flippin’ RINO shoved down our throats! If George Soros can’t tell the difference between Mitt Romney and Barack Hussein Obama, shouldn’t those RED warning flags be up all over the country?  I’m starting to wonder if the Ron Paul supporters might be right…this whole thing is rigged!

I don’t actually dislike Romney.  I’m sure he’s a real nice guy, and he has some fairly decent ideas.  The problem is, he’s got a record of doing more flips than Mary Lou Retton.  At this point in time, he is NOT the person we need to get this country back on the right track!  We need BOLD, not wishy washy.  We need someone who have the values of the majority of Americans, and a fairly strong conservative record.  That person is NOT Mitt Romney!

Once upon a time, I honestly believed that the office of the President of the United States, or the nomination for, could not be bought.  How naive of me!  But then, I was much younger, and more innocent in the ways of politics.  I’m sorry to say, those days are long gone.  Once, men of vision, like George Washington and Ronald Reagan for example, would hold the highest office in the land.  Now, whoever has the most money wins.  That is NOT the American Way!

We got stuck with a freakin’ community organizer, who has never had a real job in his entire life…has never run a business, has never done ANYTHING that makes him stand out among the field other than a few pretty words read off a teleprompter, yet was elected for no better reason than ‘he is black’.  He had no record to stand on, was a member of a virulently racist, anti-American church, was involved with communists throughout his youth, and follows the “Rules for Radicals” with a passion. All this, to destroy what we had left of what was once the freest nation in the world, where, with hard work and determination, ANYONE could succeed.

Thanks to the Republican elites and the media, we got John McCain, a major RINO, shoved in our faces, and the whole country lost by the election of a man/child. Now, they are doing it again, with Mitt Romney. I do NOT believe that he can defeat Obama, as they keep telling us, over and over, ad nauseum!  Even though he won the Florida primary, does NOT mean he is a shoe in for the nomination….not if WE, The People will stand up against the elites, and shout, once again, NO!  We’re mad as hell, and we aren’t going to take it anymore!

An Expensive Reality

Unless you have been living under a rock, this is not new news. All you have to do is look at the situation in Wisconsin, where Governor Walker is doing his best to rein in spending, having state union employees pay more of THEIR fair share of their own expenses, like health insurance and pension. The idea that anyone, especially “public servants”, state and federal, are entitled to live off the taxpayers income for the rest of their lives is ludicrous!

Federal Workers Overpaid, and CBO Agrees
The Foundry

Here’s some news that federal bureaucrats in Washington — and indeed around the country — don’t want to hear: According to a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report released this week, federal workers are paid higher than their private-sector counterparts.

The “alarming news” hit the national media yesterday, but there’s a funny thing about the report. None of it is really “news” — in fact, The Heritage Foundation long ago uncovered the truth about federal pay. The CBO’s report this week was spurred in part by two years of work on federal compensation conducted by Heritage the American Enterprise Institute.
