Diplomat: US, Allies Losing Face in Region
Iranian Envoy to Kabul Fada Hossein Maleki underlined the US and its allies’ continued failures in the region, and said they have lost their reputation among the regional states.
Maleki pointed to the complication of the security situation in the region and the failure of the US policies, and added that Washington and its allies have sustained heavy damages and lost their political prestige among regional countries.
Considering who is in “charge”, is it any surprise? We’ve become a laughing stock thanks to the moron that goes around, playing golf and apologizing for American exceptionalism, dragging us down into the sewers.
He emphasized that covert talks between the US and Taliban and the opening of an office for the militant group in Doha, Qatar, with Washington’s financial and political support show a stalemate in the West’s strategy.
Analysts are skeptical of the prospects of meaningful peace negotiations with the Taliban.
The Founders must be spinning in their graves! My dad, my uncles, the millions who volunteered to protect our nation, and who gave their lives, from the same type of animals who have no value for life. We don’t negotiate with terrorists, or their sponsors. Nor, do we foot the bill for them!
The developments came after the United States softened tone on the Taliban, an accomplice of the al-Qaeda which the US has long taken responsible for the 9/11 attacks on New York’s twin towers.
No, actually, the United States (WE, The People) has not “softened the tone”! The Barack Hussein Obama administration, filled with chicken sh***, is undermining every advancement our soldiers (and the coalition troops) have made. He obviously doesn’t understand the purpose of a war is to freakin’ WIN! True Americans don’t bow to anyone, especially their enemies.
The Pakistani media revealed in January that the United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has removed the name of Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar from the list of “most wanted terrorists.”
An act of cowardice!
The report came following Washington’s secret meetings with the Taliban after one decade of war. US officials have held several meetings with representatives of the Afghan Taliban leader, headed by Tayyib Agha, in Germany and Qatar over the past months.
During the meetings, the US and Taliban negotiators reached a deal to transfer five Taliban militants, who are under custody in Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, to Qatar. The removal of Mullah Omar’s name from the terror list comes after the prisoner deal.
Honestly, I’m so angry right now, I can’t even think straight! Obama and his weasels MUST GO! How dare them give OUR money to the very same people who aided the trash who murdered 3000 human beings on 9/11.

Update From The Homefront
So, most readers know the last 18 months or so have been, shall we say…less than pleasant? But, we survived! Between the Mr and myself, we have bought a couple of doctors a new boat, or put their kid through college, or whatever doctors do with their money. From the mega clot to the cancer (lets not forget the radiation and chemo) to the surgeries….SHEESH! We were starting to wonder if it would ever stop…or at least slow down.
Welp…finally, there is some good news. Actually, it was 2 weeks ago, but I didn’t want to jinx…so…… The Mr was declared CANCER FREE! And I’d really appreciate it if he would stay that way! 
More good news! Dr Dimples says my knee is healing quite well, and I’m about where he expected me to be….suffering through the occasional, miserable, winter weather. But I do know, eventually, I’ll be all better cuz I actually had one FULL DAY with no knee pain. 
Hey…it’s a start. I expect to have more good days as time goes on, and the weather gets warmer. In the meantime, I’ll just whine a bit now and then, like the last few days. 
We really appreciate the prayers through all the tough times. I know God does listen.

Greece surveys riots damage after austerity vote
Firefighters doused smoldering buildings and cleanup crews swept rubble from the streets of central Athens on Monday following a night of rioting during which lawmakers approved harsh new austerity measures demanded by bailout creditors to save the nation from bankruptcy.
Rioters destroyed or seriously damaged 93 buildings, the Athens municipality said, while police said at least 45 were burned. They included nine listed as national heritage buildings, mostly in the neoclassical style, while dozens of stores and cafes were smashed and looted.

White House Spin Machine Hits Brick Wall

Yesterday, the newest White House chief of staff, Jack Lew, took to the Sunday talk shows to get a head start on promoting President Barack Obama’s FY2013 budget, which is set to be released today. But just as he was getting warmed up, Lew ran smack into a brick wall when he was forced to defend the Democrat-controlled Senate’s failure to pass a budget in the last 1,019 days.
“You can’t pass a budget in the Senate of the United States without 60 votes, and you can’t get 60 votes without bipartisan support,” Lew said on CNN’s State of the Union. “So unless… unless Republicans are willing to work with Democrats in the Senate, [Majority Leader] Harry Reid is not going to be able to get a budget passed.” Lew repeated the claim in a slightly different form on NBC’s Meet the Press, saying “One of the things about the United States Senate that I think the American people have realized is that it takes 60, not 50, votes to pass something.”
The trouble is, Lew is absolutely wrong. As ABC’s Jake Tapper points out, budgets only require 51 Senate votes for passage. The Washington Post‘s “Fact Checker” Glenn Kessler weighed in as well, saying that Lew, who is a two-time budget director, “really should know better.” When Tapper called the White House on the error, he says that they didn’t deny that Lew was wrong and instead spun back to blaming “general gridlock in Congress that makes accomplishing even the most basic tasks nearly impossible.”
