I Am A Sexist!
All 4 GOP Candidates OK With Women in Combat
What do the Republican presidential hopefuls think about women moving closer to the front lines of combat, the four men were asked at Wednesday’s CNN-hosted debate in Arizona.
All indicated varying degrees of support.
“I would look to the people who are serving in the military to give the best assessment of where women can serve,” former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney responded.
After noting that 100 women have died in Iraq and Afghanistan, Romney said he believes women “have the capacity to serve in our military in positions of significance and responsibility, as we do throughout our society.”
Yep…I’m definitely a sexist. Why? Well, those four males might approve of women in combat, but I don’t! UNLESS it is here, on the home front, then…yer damn skippy we’ll be fighting right along side of the guys. Otherwise, no. It’s not our job. Contrary to what the feminazis and leftards would like for people to believe…MEN AND WOMEN ARE DIFFERENT! That is a fact that cannot be changed. We think differently, we react differently, we feel differently, and I won’t even get into the physiology.

OK, I’ll put my toe in this hazardous water. In my opinion, the ‘women in combat’ issue is not so much about their physical or mental capabilities. Even though most women don’t really have as much physical strength as men and in close combat, humping 200lbs of gear, repairing a tank or digging holes in the ground, that matters. It’s more the additional stresses on command, cohesion and logistics that make female soldiers problematic. And I’m talking about the reality not the politically correct propaganda the generals dribble on about. Females get pregnant. Now that soldier is out forever or just a year or so depending on her choice. In what trimester is combat still OK? Fit that into your planning, Brigade Commander. I guess a semi-permanent force of replacement troops will fix that problem. But at what cost? Will temp troops fit in when nobody even knows how long he or she may be there? Unit cohesion, not so much. They propose female friendly equipment and private accommodations. No, that won’t put any stress on the always murderous logistics problem. The immutable fact is this culture is not ready to have females in combat. The reduced physical requirements for females proves it, the delusional expectations of privacy in combat proves it and the available ‘option’ for combat duty proves it. I know some females in uniform genuinely want to share the sacrifices of combat with their male comrades. I respect that and I believe they could perform that role. But they can’t do it in this make-believe political climate we live in. Oh, and can anyone honestly say that America is ready to see our females raped, beheaded and tortured on TV? I thought not.
Very, VERY well said! Men and women are different, and wishing it weren’t so won’t change it. I’m not too crazy about the standards being lowered just to appease the PC crowd. I want those defending my country to be the very best!
