Tennessee Win For Santorum
Rick Santorum won Tennessee’s Republican presidential primary on Tuesday, giving the former Pennsylvania senator a key victory in the South.
With 12 percent of precincts reporting, Santorum had 41 percent to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s 28 percent.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who won his home state of Georgia on Tuesday, was in third place with 20 percent in Tennessee, despite campaigning heavily in the state. U.S. Rep. Ron Paul had 8 percent.
I do have to admit, this does make me happy. Of course, I would have been happy if Newt had won the state as well. But, since he didn’t, but did win Georgia, this whole thing is getting more interesting. Santorum also won Oklahoma, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, it seems that Mittens won in Vermont, Virginia and Massachusetts. Right now, it looks like Santorum is in the lead in Ohio, but they’re saying it’s too close to call with Rick at 38% and Mitt with 36% (9:14pm).
Now, my question….since Ron Paul is barely making a showing in most states, will he do us all a HUGE favor, and drop out? When it comes to fiscal issues, he’s a whiz. It’s when he starts talking about foreign policy….Katie bar the door…the man’s cheese done slid off the cracker! AND, if he does drop out, will he please tell his supporters to stop acting like horse’s patoots, and join the rest of us in working to get Barack Hussein Obama OUT of the White House? I mean, after all, this IS what we need to do to save our country!
Dennis Running For Re-election
Dennis to seek third term as state rep
Vance Dennis today announced plans to run for re-election to the Tennessee House of Representatives.
Calling himself a “proven conservative,” Dennis said he works hard to create jobs, balance the state’s budget, and cut taxes for working families and senior citizens.
“I am running for state representative because I want to improve the quality of life for all Tennesseans,” Dennis said. “I will continue to work to create new jobs for our region and to provide the best educational opportunities for our children.”
“Vance Dennis is a true conservative. He is an effective leader in the General Assembly who has worked to cut the size of government and to reduce spending,” said House Speaker Beth Harwell. “Vance is a reliable voice in the capitol for families and employers.”
I should hope he’s gonna run again. Gracious sakes. I can’t imagine him not being our rep! Now, if I could just convince him they need to knock off the nanny nonsense, and allow businesses to decide whether or not they allow smoking….
Hey…does this mean I’ll get to go to the dove hunt this year? The knee should be healed up by then, shouldn’t it?
Up To Twelve Now
After Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a slut last week, an uproar spread by leftist all over the internet, has encouraged Rush Limbaugh’s advertisers to leave the behemoth radio show’s ad schedule. So far, Rush has lost 12 advertisers.
- Sleep Number
- The Sleep Train
- Quicken Loans
- Legal Zoom
- Citrix
- Carbonite
- ProFlowers
- Tax Resolution
- AOL
- Bonobos
- Sears
- Allstate Insurance
Well, they are free to cease advertising on Rush’s show. You know, that show, that has MILLIONS of listeners on a regular basis. And those MILLIONS are free NOT to spend their money at those companies. Does AOL still exist? Hmm…. Anyway, I have informed ProFlowers they need to remove my name from their data base because I will no longer do business with them, or any of their associate businesses. So far, I haven’t gotten any more emails from ‘em.
We know that the left glorifies anyone who slams a conservative, especially conservative women. Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c***. Ed Schlutz called Laura Ingraham a s***. Do any of the companies listed above still advertise on MSNBC? Do they support HBO, and their decision to air a foul mouthed troglodyte? This type of hypocrisy is what we’ve come to expect from the left, but why do we put up with it? I mean, seriously, we lose any credibility if we allow this to continue.
NOW has poked their heads out of the sand, and have decided that Rush Limbaugh should be fired. Really? Where were those feminazis when Paula Jones needed the aid of her fellow females? Where were they on Sarah Palin, Laura Ingraham? Where are they when we hear of women being slaughtered in Muslim countries? Are they going to stand up for all women, or just radical feminist activist grad students?
Yup….the hypocrisy is thick!
BIG Problem

“And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.”
Kirk Cameron Receives More Backlash Rather Than Support From Fellow Celebs
Kirk Cameron might have been applauded by Piers Morgan for his statement against homosexuality and gay marriage, but the “Growing Pains” star didn’t seem to get more support from fellow celebrities than he has already had. Instead, he received more criticisms including the ones from his co-stars.
Kirk’s on-screen sister Tracey Gold was quick to declare which side she’s on by tweeting, “I am a strong supporter of the #LGBT Community, and I believe in equal rights for all.” Alan Thicke, who plays his on-screen father, was also against him, “I’m getting him some new books. The Old Testament simply can’t be expected to explain everything.”
It’s really sad when has beens have to show their ignorance. Note to Thicke: Try reading the New Testament, you might be surprised at what you find in it. Jesus came to fulfill the law…said law being given to Moses and a number of other prophets. Real prophets, not the phony one that some people try to pass off as being a spokesman for a non god. The law is quite specific. People might not like it, or might make fun of those who believe the Word of God, like those who are dissing Mr Cameron, but ya know what? It’s apparent to me that this young man’s faith is strong enough to let such criticisms to roll of his back.
John 15
21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.
Obviously, those who throwing such comments about Mr Cameron’s faith do no know the One who sent Him. They might want to do a little more research before tossing out such foolish comments.
John 3
19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
1 Corinthians 6
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
I dunno….seems pretty cut and dry to me! It’s not my job to judge. Judgement belongs to Someone a LOT higher in authority than I am. I don’t hate anymore. Not fond of liberals because of the damage they have done to our country, but I don’t actually hate them. I feel rather sorry for them. They must be extremely unhappy people. However, it is our job to ‘rebuke’.
Proverbs 28
23 He who rebukes a man will find more favor afterward Than he who flatters with the tongue.
Luke 17
3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
2 Timothy 4
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
So, understand, that when someone like Kirk Cameron, or even a nobody like me, says this is God’s law, it’s not said with malice, but with love. Those who speak out against His law will suffer more than even I can imagine. No, I’m not judging, nor is Mr Cameron. We are trying our best to follow God’s laws. It’s not always easy, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Super Tuesday
Silly name for a day to vote, since not all states are voting, so it’s really not so ‘super’, IMHO. We have 50 states, and only ten are involved. Doesn’t seem to ‘super’. Now, if it were at least half or more, then…maybe. It’s always been my opinion that these primaries being scattered all over the calender, some so late in the year, like Wisconsin, it’s doesn’t even really count.
At least that’s how it felt to me when I lived there, and lots of people up there feel the same way. So, anyway, if you live in……
Georgia
Idaho
Massachusetts
North Dakota
Ohio
Oklahoma
Tennessee
Vermont
Virginia
Alaska (2 week long caucuses? Seriously?)
…..get up off your hind end and go vote! I voted early cuz I knew I wouldn’t be home today to join in the festivities, but I will be watching the turn out in my state, so you better go and make your voice heard! Honestly, whoever ends up as the nominee in the long run HAS to be better than what we have now…a bunch of freakin’ criminals in charge of what was once the strongest and greatest country in the world.
I just pray that whoever does end up on the ticket will choose a running mate that isn’t a complete moron. We’ve seen moron, and it’s not pretty! And don’t forget to take your I.D. fer the love of pete! Whether they ask for it or not, show it to them, make sure they see it, and KNOW you aren’t one of the fraudsters!

Obama Lies, Americans Die
China’s Military Rising
The Foundry
In early January, President Barack Obama traveled across the Potomac River to the Pentagon and joined Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to discuss his Administration’s military strategy, promising that he would keep America’s fighting forces the best-trained, best-led, best-equipped military in history. Unfortunately, he’s not keeping that promise, and meanwhile, China’s military is growing by leaps and bounds.
China announced this week that its new defense budget would total approximately $106 billion — an 11.2 percent increase over its previous budget. That’s on top of last year’s 12.7 percent increase, making China’s defense spending larger than that of all other Asian nations combined. Heritage’s Dean Cheng writes that those figures are “a sobering statistic when one considers that this includes the world’s third-largest economy (Japan) and North and South Korea, which remain locked in a Cold War-era standoff.”
