A Loss In The Family

20 April 2012, 8:10 pm. 3 Comments. Filed under Critters, Friends & Family.

If you’ve been coming around here for a while, you may remember me mentioning Rocky Moose.  Rocky was one of those cats that was on the verge of being on ‘death row’.  My son in law rescued him, and he became part of the family.  I always had to get a dog outfit for him for Christmas, which of course, annoyed Ick to no end.  Rocky?  He didn’t care one way or the other!

Rocky was a big boy. Let’s face it, there was a reason I called him Rocky Moose.

If ever there was a more mellow, and patient, cat, I don’t where he/she is!  Rocky went to sleep this afternoon, and did not wake up.  He will be extremely missed by the entire family, and many friends.

Rest In Peace My Moose Friend

Self Explanatory

The photo taken

“three minutes after he shot and killed Trayvon Martin.” His head is brutally bloodied. As the image above shows, there’s blood all over his head, at least two gashes, and a large bruise forming at the top of his head.

My advice to all the race baiters:  Go home!  Sit down!  And for the love of all that’s holy….STFU!!

This whole thing is nothing more than a political lynching!  A distraction cooked up by the weasels in the media.  Evidently, the idea is to make an ‘example’ of Zimmerman, no matter what the actual facts are in the case.   “That’ll teach you to claim self defense against a black boy in a hoodie!”  *shakes head*

I’m not going to make a judgement.  And neither should anyone else…including Jackson, Sharpton, the media and even the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!  Haven’t they ALL already made a fools of themselves….without adding more fuel to the fire?

What if Fannie and Freddie Were Eliminated?
The Foundry

For the past several years, it’s not been an uncommon sight in Anytown, USA, to drive down the street and see home after home for sale after going through foreclosure. They are the still-lingering hangover from the housing crash that began in 2007. Though the true cause of what burst America’s housing bubble is still debated, two of the culprits — housing finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are still going strong even though both essentially failed in 2008 and are under government control. Economists and politicians alike are now pondering whether we need Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac at all and what would happen if they were eliminated altogether.

For several years prior to 2007, home prices went through the roof, but then they crashed through the basement. Since then, more than 2.3 million homeowners have faced foreclosure — an 81 percent increase over 2007. This all, of course, contributed to the Great Recession we’re still rebuilding from today. “Easy credit” is pointed to as the corrosive acid that ate away at the housing market’s foundation, and federal government-sponsored mortgage finance giants — the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) — were there to supply it and help other lenders to do so.

Tell Us Something We Didn’t Know!

Nugent: ‘Solid, professional’ meeting with Secret Service

“I met with two fine, professional Secret Service agents in OK today,” Nugent wrote in a statement published at his website. “Good, solid, professional meeting concluding that I have never made any threats of violence towards anyone. The meeting could not have gone better. I thanked them for their service, we shook hands and went about our business. God bless the good federal agents wherever they may be.”
(…)
“The Secret Service interview of Ted Nugent has been completed,” Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary said. “The issue has been resolved. The Secret Service does not anticipate any further action.”

Anyone who bothered to listen to what Uncle Ted actually said, could have come to the same conclusion, and it wouldn’t have cost the tax payers a flippin’ dime!  But no…the leftards have to get their knickers all in a twist, especially the mediatards!  It was just peachy keen when THEY threatened Bush’s life, literally, even made a movie about assassinating him, and what happened?  NOT A DAMN THING! They hung Sarah Palin in effigy, and questions were asked, but I don’t recall anyone from PMSNBC getting all riled up, demanding the perpetrator be thrown in jail. These are literally sick, demented beings, who behave as though the world is falling apart anytime a conservative opens his or her mouth, criticizing their messiah, who should be criticized, and quite often.

The media should be at the forefront, investigating REAL crimes of this administration, yet we get silence. A lunatic unionista in Wisconsin sends death threats to elected officials in Wisconsin, and what……a slap on the wrist? Did you hear the socialist controlled Obama mouthpieces report on the constant threats towards Republican lawmakers in that state? Pfft! Paleeeeeze!

We do still have a 1st Amendment….for now.  And thank God we have people like Ted Nugent who is willing to speak up and call a spade a spade!  This is the most corrupt administration of my lifetime, and that include Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton.  Having private citizens speak the truth is not a crime.  What is a crime is that the media won’t!
