Columnist Calls Black Conservatives ‘Animals’
On May 16, every member of the Oklahoma State Legislature, the governor and the lieutenant governor received a copy of an explosive new book on God’s judgment of America and an urgent message: “Consider ‘The Harbinger’ and the dire warnings it contains before it is too late.”
The message came from Joe Esposito of Owasso, Okla., who only a few weeks before had read his own copy of Jonathan Cahn’s book “The Harbinger” and was so stunned by the parallels between the fall of ancient Israel and America’s current struggles that he knew his state’s leaders needed a wake-up call.
So he purchased out of his own pocket 152 copies of the book and hatched a plan.
“Years ago I had a lot of dealings with the legislature, so I just knew the importance of leadership,” Esposito told WND. “I didn’t think they understood what’s taking place, and I thought it crucial they understand what’s going on. It’s crucial that Jonathan Cahn’s message gets out. I just wanted to help.
“Even if you’re not a Christian,” Esposito continued, “I don’t know how anybody can debate or ignore those nine [harbingers described in the book] that are already happening. It’s amazing.”
I’m about three fourths of the way through this book. I was going to wait until I finished it, to recommend it, but hey…when I came across this column, I thought…what the heck. This guy has a GREAT IDEA!
The Harbinger is a book of facts, written in fiction form. And yes, they are FACTS. The speeches were made, the events happened. So, I’m going to give the message a FIVE star review. Now, the problem I had with this book? It’s extremely repetitious! So, for method, I can only give 1 star. To be honest, the book could have been cut in half. BUT, with that being said, I HIGHLY recommend reading this book! You can skip over the repeats, like I’ve done. It’s the message that is crucial!
Our founding was ‘blessed by God’. Since we’ve turned away from Him, He has turned away from us, and removed His blessing. That can’t be stressed enough!
Like Esposito said, ‘even if you’re not a Christian‘, the message is quite clear, the facts are there, all you have to do is SEE them. While, overall, it’s far from a perfect book, it is the message that should be heeded. We are, and will be, facing the consequences of our actions!

…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Pictures of America’s Medicare Mess
Earlier this month, President Barack Obama sat down with world leaders at the G8 summit and bragged about his track record of supposed good governance — how he has worked to “bring down our deficits and debt over the longer term” and made “room to take a balanced approach to reducing our deficit and debt.” There are plenty of ways to shoot holes in the president’s pronouncement, but there is one glaring example of where he has come up far short — failing to address America’s growing Medicare crisis.
In “Medicare at Risk: Visualizing the Need for Reform,” Heritage’s Kathryn Nix and John Fleming illustrate the facts about Medicare and why Washington must come to the rescue with innovative solutions to preserve the program today and into the future.
President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare into law in 1965, creating a program that today provides health insurance to some 48 million Americans. Now, though, that program is in desperate need of reform as the United States grapples with retiring baby boomers entering the system, increasing health care costs and a status quo that simply can’t be sustained.
